Excellent food, large portions and a lovely place

I have had over the recent months quite a few lunch time visits for what I would describe as a good all round varied menu, love the wine cellar, some really nice wines at affordable prices, but try to stay off the wine by the glass, keeping wine after opening never works and the glass or Rioca I had yesterday was witness to this. Having yesterday April 14th Celebrated my Wedding Anniversary, all 31yrs of them I had the mixed grill and my wife the Trout, both were excellent meals and if I had to be moan about anything it would be the lack of a good French Mustard and the Re-Heated Jacket Potato, but the steak on the mixed grill was the best I had ever experienced on a mixed grill in my entire life and a Feast. My last visit however did not reflect any of the above and I feel it is time to move on; service was awful, desert menu extremely poor, no cheese board offered and the coffee a disgrace. Sorry Victoria Inn but you have poisoned the well. Mr Spence Eng

If there was 6 stars they would have it! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home, the room was fantastic, we went down for dinner at our allocated time and the food was exceptional! Extremely great value for money. Shame about the weather but the hotel made up for it. Breakfast was fantastic will definitely come back and would recommend to everyone. Thank you for anamzing stay!

Visited on a Friday evening for food. Lovely welcome, waiter was really friendly and attentive, comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed mixed grill and kebab. Food was great. We will definitely be back.

We ate here tonight before Wales closes pubs - again !! It was the steak night. We had a sirloin and a rib eye and it was to die for. Absolutely beautiful steak which was locally reared and all the accompaniments were delicious.The service was very good and all the staff were friendly and the restaurant had all appropriate social distancing measures in place. We will definitely be going back

I came across this place by happy accident.The staff are friendly and efficient and take covid security seriously without making a huge production of it. Sad times. Comfortable yet safe. The food is excellent. I heartily commend the fish pancake. Oh, and the oarsnip and apple soup. Quality food.I only popped in for a coffee. Now it's one of my absolute favourite places in the Vale, and that's despite there being some stiff competition. Highly recommended.

Just 12.3 miles outside Barry is a beautiful little village called Sigingstone. If you’ve driven between Llantwit Major and Cowbridge you will have seen the turn off for the Victoria Inn, signposted very clearly. Well today we did just that and boy, we are so pleased we did. A gorgeous rural hamlet with a clutch of houses and surrounded by fields, the pub/ B&B sits right in the heart of it. Ample car park and lovely to see quite full. This is a good sign. We walked in and having not had many Sunday lunches out of late we were impressed by the organisation and lay out of the pub. They have really got everything well set out. We were warmly welcomed and sat by an open french patio onto a small beer garden. Lovely feel to the pub being quite traditional in decor. The menu was good for a Sunday lunch and inclusion of homemade pies grabbed hubby’s attention. I opted for lamb. We weren’t waiting long before piping hot meals came out. The food was superb. My lamb was thick, melt in the mouth and so tasty as well as spot on roast potatoes parsnips and carrots. Great sized portion of veg for two and a huge jug of homemade gravy. The fact I didn’t need to season my meal was very, very good. We loved it. Hubby’s homemade chicken, ham and leek pie looked delicious. Large chunks of chicken and ham wrapped in a thick creamy sauce accompanied by his option of chips made for a filling meal. The temptation of their pudding specials was lovely - choices of hot and cold meant hubby was pleased as they had sticky toffee pudding;his favourite! I went for the roulade which was light, fluffy and with a moreish fruit drizzle and chunky chocolate bites. I had serious sticky toffee pudding envy though as the butterscotch sauce was to die for! I cannot wait to go back and have one for myself.The staff were lovely, especially Matthew, and it was lovely to chat to the lady serving drinks behind the bar. I really do hope it picks up in these, again, uncertain times. We will definitely be back on a Sunday, and mid week, as this little treasure of a Vale pub is definitely worth coming back to. I stayed here for one night. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The room was fabulous. It was super clean which reassured me in these Covid times. I ate a delicious vegan meal..the Mediterranean tart in the evening and had a great sleep in a very comfortable bed. The surrounding area is gorgeous and so peaceful. I often find it difficult to sleep when i am away but i had a great sleep here! The breakfast the following morning was simply amazing...so much on offer and beautifully cooked. I know i will be staying again and i am looking forward to my next visit

Stayed for a few days. Excellent breakfast and a superb restaurant! Freshly cooked quality food. I can see why this place has a 9.4 rating. Perfect!

Visited Victoria Inn at Siginstone for lunch on 31 August where all Covid 19 precautions were in place and staff wearing face visors. Staff were polite and efficient and the food was delivered promptly and was excellent. Would recommend the fish pancake which was full of salmon,haddock & sole and topped with a cheesy sauce and prawns. It is certainly value for money and would highly recommend this pub.

Our first Post Covid Lockdown meal out and what a lovely meal it was too. My wife and I had Sirloin and Rib-Eye steaks that were cooked just as we liked them. Accompanied by chips, mushrooms, grilled tomato and garden peas and topped off by a really tasty peppercorn sauce. For afters we had Sticky Toffee Pudding and Apple Crumble and Custard which polished off the night well. A busy night with a really enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere with plenty of well spaced out tables. The staff were really busy and provided an excellent service. A really lovely and memorable meal that was very much appreciated.

By far the best Sunday dinner I have had (apart from my mother’s of course).We ordered 3 beef dinners. The beef was delicious and the Dessert equally as nice. I saw other dishes going out which also looked amazing. The staff were lovely and very helpful. I would definitely return here and encourage others to do so. Thank you

Stayed at the Victoria inn for 2 nights and had dinner both nights. Lovely little b&b to stay in-food was of really good quality, not overpriced and large portions. As a vegan I was expecting to just being able to eat the chips however I was very pleasantly surprise to be offered a vegan tart with chips and a full vegan fry up the next morning. The room was lovely and big with a large comfortable bed and piping hot shower- all very clean to. Could not recommend more- lovely stay. Thank you

Ate here 17th Feb. Lovely meal, plenty of food and of good quality. Ham, egg and chips was fine, ham of good quality and thickness but rather dry.Lasagne very nice, well recommended.Poor ambience, despite the friendly service simply because the restaurant is extremely dated, over patterned and really does need renovation. But very good food

We were a group of 14 pensioners who booked to enjoy a Valentines Day lunch. I was there a few years ago and was dis-appointed but not today. The setting was good, the service was prompt, the food very good and the atmosphere welcoming. Will definitely come again.

Excellent speedy service, lovely ambience & a truly lovely, flavoursome vegan pie with mash, veg and gravy. Highly recommend visiting to try this dish to all fellow herbivores. A vegan dessert would have been an added bonus.

We visit here almost once a week as it is that good ! Food is fantastic everytime ! Can't recommend it highly enough !

I have eaten here on other occasions, but yesterday's meal was gorgeous. Leek & Potato soup with a lovely warm roll & butter, then the roast lamb dinner, melt in the mouth lamb and thr best roasties I've eaten out in ages, to finish apple tart and custard, absolutely delicious, my cousin said the ham & parsley sauce, and cherry cheesecake was also 1st class. Well worth a visit

Visited recently and charged £7.50 for 1 pint of beer and 1/2 pint of Lemonade. Reurned the following day for supper. Food very good. Charged £5.50 for 1 pint of beer and 1/2 cider, this is when we decided that the previouse night we had been grossly overcharged. Either that or which round was the correct price????Maybe something for folks to be aware of and check prices first.

We booked the Victoria Inn for an overnight stay as we had an early flight from Cardiff Airport and wanted somewhere with atmosphere , good food and drink and not too far from the airport (drive was within 10 minutes) We were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by a young member of staff and later after setting in our room by the owners Mike and Beryl. The atmosphere was perfect and we chatted with a number of locals in the bar. My husband enjoyed their draft guest beers. The menu was very good, we are normally vegetarian but occasionally eat fish. There was a fair choice of vegetarian dishes ( home made vegetable and mushroom curry , lasagne, vegetarian cottage pie) but in the end I decided on the herb crusted salmon served with a lemon butter sauce, vegetables and your choice of potatoes and my husband had the fish and chips, we were joined by my sister and her husband , they had the homemade steak and kidney pie and a steak with peppercorn sauce , both were really happy with their meals as well. Not being dessert eaters we can only comment on the Eton mess my sister had (she generously offered us a taste and wow it was delicious, I could be converted). Our accommodation was a double room with en suite, the bed was extremely comfortable, the room was large and had all the necessary facilities, wifi , coffee/tea making facilities. The en suite shower room was also spacious with a good pressure on the shower. The accommodation and the Inn itself is very clean. Breakfast is included in the price and there was a very good vegan and vegetarian option, unfortunately we had a very early departure for our flight so were unable to sample these. We did ask during the evening if we could have some sandwiches to take with us, they were of generous proportions, freshly made and ready for our departure, made by Joan (an owner and the mother of Mike) and who was there to wish us a safe onward journey. We will definitely be back, and just not for that overnight stay before flying but for a few days whilst we visit family in Cardiff .

Food was lovely.. pretty pub with nice atmosphere and had a lovely waitress Jay, lovely polite girl who worked non stop and gave us excellent service.. asset to the place we would certainly return.

We visited this area from Friday 23rd to Tues 27th August and called at the Victoria for lunch and dinner on several occasions. The service and food was second to none, most enjoyable Our final visit was last evening we both had the lamb chops, amazing I am very fussy and I just could not fault this it was so lovely. Can I just say thank you so much for making our visit to Wales with our dog Marley so enjoyable

Lovely welcoming dog friendly Inn with very friendly locals. We have eaten here three times. The food is amazing good quality produce and huge portions. We will back.

Just visited The Victoria for the first time in years for Sunday Lunch. Absolutely fantastic. Roast Beef was plentiful and so tender, with a good choice of veg etc. I had apple and blackberry crumble for desert which was also lovely. Our compliments to the chef. Staff very efficient. Would highly recommend.

The famous fish pancake was full of salmon etc. and very tasty, the fish and chips also very good.

Stayed the night in this lovely little Inn, the room was well appointed, clean and comfortable, the food in the restaurant was excellent and great value, Breakfast was good too and set me up for the day. Service friendly and welcoming.

I visited the Victoria Inn last month for dinner with some friends, food was lovely, the curry had lots of flavour to it and wasn’t too spicy! Waiters were very polite and catered to our needs perfectly, it was a busy Saturday night and the waiters were rushed off their feet while the bar staff sat behind the bar on a laptop. I later heard her (I’m guessing it was the land lady) speak awfully to her staff and I was really unimpressed at how rude she was, most definitely wouldn’t want my child to be spoken to the way she was speaking to them.

For an Inn that is tucked out of the way and a little off the beaten track, its facilities are first class. The room was excellent with a (it looked) new en suite and shower. Coffee/tea facilities and a very comfortable large bed.

Excellent steak cooked to perfection great service friendly staff . Lovely dining experience.what a delight that standards are always high.

Popped in with family after a country walk, ordered drinks and food at the bar and sat outside with our dog, it was 3pm ish and they were quite quiet.

Stayed here for 3 nights and room was excellent, spotlessly clean with a lovely big comfortable bed. Breakfast was brilliant with a good choice, and evening meals were excellent, and good prices. Would thoroughly recommend as cannot fault anything

We visited the Pub on the Saturday evening before Mother’s Day. There were six of us in all and we had booked a table in advance. Just as well as the Pub was very busy.

We recently visited here with friends on 28/3/19. The food was very good as was the service. Food here is also reasonably priced. Lovely country pub and restaurant.

Just had lunch at the Victoria. Good food as usual. However, my husband went to order sticky toffee pudding with ice cream for dessert and was told he’d have to pay an extra £1 for the ice cream. This is happening a bit much here as they re charging extra if you have extra gravy or veg. The words “dick Turpin” come into mind. We ve come to conclusion we will not be going there again.

We have been regular visitors to the Victoria Inn for a few years now, after finding it by chance when looking for somewhere to go for Sunday Lunch.

There's good and bad with everything. Nice room. Clean. Out of the way a bit. Don't get the food reviews. Menu was amazing to look at. We had brie and Whitebait starter really nice. Couldn't wait for mains and were let down. I had braised beef in port and mushroom gravy with thyme and a parchment of veg... the beef was tender very thinly sliced the gravy was thick with no depth of flavour very flat. The parchment of veg broccoli and carrot. My partner had lamb chops nice portion size but tough as, one was overdone the other two medium. We decided not to have pudding

Visited last Sunday for lunch.My wife and I enjoyed the the experience,the food was excellent and plenty of it.The staff were very pleasant and obliging and will definitely visit again soon.

My brother in law and wife treated us to lunch at The Victoria Inn yesterday. We all had the reasonably priced first class 3 course meal. Two of us had a delicious, generous portion of chicken Tandoori curry with rice and superb chips; one had plaice; the other had the vegetarian option. The leek and potato soup starter, served with a hot bread roll and butter, was flavourful as was the beetroot and goat cheese starter. The sticky toffee and butterscotch dessert was plentiful and the ice cream was tasty. We all had a well-made, and well- presented, cup of Cappuccino coffee to round off a very pleasant experience. We were all very well pleased.

Very tasty dinner plenty of meat but could have done with more vegetables for a table of four same amount as table for 2 we were given

We have been visiting here for evening meals for a few years now. The place is friendly and always has a nice atmosphere. There is plenty of choice for everyone. We have never had a meal that we didn't enjoy. We have tried a few Pubs and Restaurants but always come back here. Try their Cherry cheesecake with ice cream and cream. Went there just before Christmas. Lovely meal as always. There’s lots of pubs in the area that I want to try and but we keep coming back here as always lovely meal.

We visited here with family and two dogs for lunch. Lovely country pub with decent beer (yes, no Brains! But a Glamorgan brewery pale ale, excellent). Had starters and mains - def. a cut above the usual pub fayre, with brandy infused rose Marie sauce on the prawn cocktail. I had their steak and kidney pie, excellent. The rest had chicken curry (not too hot but loads of large chunks of chicken), roast beef and a seafood pancake which was very amply filled! A great lunch in a very friendly place.

Once again had a lovely Sunday lunch here. However, from the last time we came the prices have risen dramatically at least by 12% and the portions have gone smaller(much smaller) also on the menu it states that if you want extra veg or gravy you have to pay for it.

We come here about every 6 weeks and the food has always been good.

Lovely atmosphere friendly staff and great food, lovely fresh vegetables cooked to perfection, homemade pies delicious , lovely steaks again cooked as requested, the turkey dinner was well applauded. We all had a lovely Meal and were very impressed . will definitely return !

Visited as a family and had a table booked. Was very quiet and not to loud so could hear all the family around the table. Music wasn't the best but didn't disrupt the atmosphere.

Came in on Wednesday night and the waiting staff were lovely! But on the other hand the music made my ears bleed (not exaggerating)

I enjoyed the food but the music was awful. I would rather sit in silence than listen to it. I would recommend just playing the top 40 or radio.

A lovely evening in a nice local pub, the service from the bar staff was exceptional and the table service was good. I ordered the cod and it was okay, but the peas, the peas were exceptional, these peas were the best I’ve experienced, melt in your mouth small round green balls of exstacy. Will be back fo sho, but main for the peas.... and beer.

As we had the dog with us, we could only sit in the small bar area, where there were 4 tables, 2 of which were free for eating. The main restaurant was really quite big and carpeted with set tables. We had fish pie, fish & chips and ham, egg & chips, plus some delicious ice-cream. Portions were of a good size and the food was hot and tasty. The locals in the bar with us, were really friendly and we were soon chatting about things to see, places to go etc. We did visit St Fagans which was one of their suggestions, thank you, it was brilliant! We would have loved to go back for Steak Night on Friday, but were still out and about. Thank you to the landlady who gave Doonal some doggy biscuits. A very cosy place and well worth a visit.

Had a gorgeous Sunday Lunch with the family at the Victoria this week. Food was piping hot, tasty and lovely quality. Service was great ... and the deserts ... chocolate fudge cake .. blimey! Ate more than I should. Really had lovely time and will be coming back soon ... so lucky it's not far away. Thanks all for a lovely time.

I had not been to this pub for many years and was not aware they had accommodation. I wanted somewhere reasonably priced in this area. I was so pleased with my room. The en-suite bathroom was spacious, well decorated with modern fittings and very clean. The bed was very comfortable with good quality linens as were the bathroom towels. I was very impressed and hadn't expected quite such a high standard for the price charged. The breakfast was simple but freshly cooked and tasty. The lunch and evening meals are what would be termed as 'good pub grub'!! The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Would recommend.

Unspoiled country Inn, stayed overnight whilst visiting friends in the area. Well kept, family run, friendly service, clean and well appointed bedroom with en-suit and spacious shower. Standard cooked breakfast with a generous cafetiere of coffee. We enjoyed our stay.

We eat in this inn now and again, I don’t now why we don’t more, it’s a lovely pub, the food is always fresh and nice. The Sunday dinners are one of the best in the Vale of Glamorgan. The staff are so friendly and it’s frequented by locals so it’s got to be nice. Good free parking, very very clean and it has rooms to stay in. For a quiet lunch or dinner I highly recommend this inn, big thumbs up

Yet again another fantastic meal at the Victoria Inn. Excellent choice of curry's on Wednesday curry night and all home made. Brilliant value for money with all the extras you get (bahaji's, poppadom's etc). Will have to try steak night next!

Me and my family just keep coming back to this fab pub. Food is always delicious and freshly prepared, great service and a warm welcome from the owners. The Victoria Inn has never disappointed!

Very slow service yet again, order taken and two tables that were occupied after us recieved their meals before us. We waited nearly half an hour for our main meals to arrive after our starter was finished, the excuse we were given was a sudden rush of people that we did'nt expect. Poor excuse you need to get your act together

Enjoyed our meal however they charge if you need extra veg which is not good. you have a tray in the centre of the table which everyone helps yourself to.

This is a very friendly and welcoming Inn, the staff seam to take their lead from the owner very open and service orientated

My room was clean, well appointed and spacious with a really comfy bed. The food in the restaurant was tasty and well priced with a varied menu and breakfast was good too. All staff were friendly and approachable. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I have just come back from lunch at the Victoria Inn, Siginstone (1 Aug 2018). Really nice meal, freshly cooked, well presented. We found the staff polite and friendly. We were particularly impressed that when staff cleared the table next to ours and they used a bacterial spray to wipe down the table. You don’t see this very often these days. Impressive. Will definitely go again.

As usual I had done my restautant trawling via Google Maps and found this one. There is good range of food, you have I think three menus to choose from including the chalkboards. We had the lunch menu which had a fixed price and was very good. They do fish, tradidional lunch and eastern cooking very well. Staff all great, on the day we were there one guy was efficiently serving and clearing up with ease, someone who knew his job. The place itself is down dome winding lanes though sat nav seemed to find it ok, it just came in to view as it wanted to take us in to someone's driveway. Plenty of parking.

Nice varied menu, catering to all tastes. Excellent service, nice hot food, served in light airy surroundings. Reasonably priced. Recommended.

Booked for lunch today and must say we were not disappointed in anyway.

Just had a Sunday lunch here, the food was lovely, cooked very well and served piping hot, However the raspberry pavlova could have been done better by my 10 year old granddaughter very poor quality and just 4 raspberries will not be going back as I believe that all food served should be of high standard and not just one course!

First visit to the Vic in an absolute age to try the advertised steak night available every Tuesday and Friday. Butternut squash and red pepper soup to start followed by an excellent steak. I normally avoid pub steaks as I've had more bad than good but this was a real treat. I asked for medium rare and that's exactly what was served. Fantastic value at £11. We'll be back!

I went there for food with my family the staff was very cheerful and happy good atmosphere to of us had steak and it was the beat I had and my girlfriend and a cod and she said it was amazing we will be going but up there very soon

Took my daughter for a Sunday meal, the food was lovely I had a chicken ham and leek pie, which was beautiful, and very well presented, my daughter had a children’s chicken dinner again a very lovely meal, plenty of veg and gravy, the chicken was cooked perfectly and very tasty, the waiter was very helpful and very pleasant and nothing was to much bother, will be returning very soon,

My husband & I stayed in the Victoria Inn as we had a family party nearby.

Despite the Victoria Inn being VERY busy over the bank holiday weekend, the staff did a wonderful job and our Sunday dinners were absolutely lovely. Portions were well sized too, and best value for the quality I've had in a few pubs recently. Will definitely be coming back.

We visited for Sunday lunch and sadly the reviews didn't meet up to the delivery and quality of the service. Basic starters which were presented badly, then the meals where bland, over cooked and left on a hot plate as they were dry and unacceptable. Our daughter had chicken which was dry and couldn't cut. When asked if it could be changed the reply from the waitress was very negative. Finally the bill was wrong and when highlighted to the bar staff, the concerns weren't even acknowledged. Sorry but very poor display which has lost our and others who felt the same during our visit. Not impressed at all, lots better locally in value and quality with a better service

We go here a lot very friendly staff, food is always excellent and the price is good, I really can’t fault the place, we always book a table as it gets very busy

The pub is okay in Beautiful Countryside But the way the manager behaved towards me was rubbish . His manner was disgusting . Will not be coming back . I used to love this pub .

Starter was lovely but the 3 mains fell well below par. Fish pancake was not fully cooked, one end was burnt and the other barely warm. Beef Wellington was greasy, over cooked (would class as well done) and the baked potato was swimming in butter. Steak and kidney pie was warm and lacked any sort of seasoning which meant tasted extremely bland. This is an unfortunate review as we have had several good meals here but today was very poor. Regrettably we will not be returning for a while.

We went for a walk from Llantwit major along the coastal cliff path past Atlantic college to the Nash lighthouse and then a circular route along the road to St Donats then turning down along their playing fields towards the coastal path again and back to Llantwit Major then a quick drive to the Victoria Inn at Siginstone. I have not been here for very many years (20), that was a Sunday lunch with the family which I still remember was v good. This time with friends we found a good selection available of starters, traditional mains, chef specialties, taste of the sea, vegetarian dishes plus cold salads and sweets plus a Xmas menu and a light bite menu. Hand pump beer also ....A local beer aptly named Cwrw (welsh for beer..!)...and Doombar pkus usual other lagers etc. I had the poached salmon fillet with a tomato and basil sauce with veg and potatoes which was excellent. Three others had the famous 'I think' Victoria Inn fish pie with smoked haddock and salmon and diced bacon topped with a cheesy mashed potato,...I was told it was delicious. The straight fresh cod in batter with french fries, peas with tartare sauce and small side salad looked superb as did the home made chicken, ham and leek pie with a short crust pastry on the top....wow we all enjoyed ourselves and could not fit in a sweet. Excellent all round. Will be coming back sooner next time..!!

Had a beautiful lunch today .The food was delicious .Varied menu with lots of choices .We prebooked and the meals were beautiful .Waiting staff were very pleasant and well organised .Carol sheets to finish. A lovely lunch with no complaints !

The week we visited South Wales there were quite a few football matches my better half didn't want to miss. We found this pub on the Sky Sport list and it was GREAT!

Our two stay at the Victoria Inn was adequate, but nothing special. We stayed for our friends wedding which was close by in Llatwit Major.

We went to this pub for a Wednesday lunch. The menu is fairly varied and reasonably priced, the food arrived nice and hot and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The staff were friendly and helpful, the place was very clean (including the toilets) and there was ample parking. The only reason I have given four, rather than five, stars is because we had a pretty long wait to order and then a fairly long wait before our food arrived. There were quite a few people in to be fair, but there were also quite a few empty tables.

Warm welcome and very dog friendly - great food - can recommend the beef lasagne and rump steak - delicious !!

Excellent all round. Staff very friendly, accommodating and helpful.Food was very good. Clean and tidy, both in the bar and the toilets.Plenty of parking spaces. Kudos to Jade for hiding both us and the cake until the birthday boy appeared. Prices good for the area, came to around £23 per head for lunch.

Having been a regular to the Vic for many years when being run by Billy and Robin, it seemed to go down hill when taken over by Tomos Watkins we stopped going there.Then this week whilst playing golf one of our opponents stated the food was very good there.We returned this week and looking at the menu it was no change to 12 years ago.The steak and kidney pie was has good has I remember.Good service.Will not be another 12 years before we return.

stayed here one night on our way from the north to cardiff area. nice welcome and lovely clean and comfortable room. the evening meal in the pub was good and well priced and the breakfast was great. well worth the price.

We stayed in the Victoria Inn due to a wedding being held in Cowbridge. Room was lovely and very clean. Breakfast in the morning was very nice. Would recommend staying there. Lovely place.

Tried the Victoria Inn for the first time last night for a late Sunday lunch and meal with my Dad and family . As a table of fifteen we were looked after well and I'd recommend this pub for excellent food . Best thing was Mum was pleased which is always a bonus. See you soon for a second visit.

We visited the Victoria Inn as we were on holiday down the road. On arrival the staff were very friendly. The menu was fantastic lots to choose from. The meals were fantastic and so tasty. will defiantly come again if down that way on holiday.

amazzzzzing , great food, tasty tasty, fab atmosphere, a really great place . very busy tonight but fast , yummy service. staff so happy and efficient. best dishes so far , curry full of meat and spicy , so well presented . garlic mushrooms , best ever. steaks etc . in fact can only praise all meals and everything .

We were that way and booked into the Victoria for a couple of nights. Typical pub food on Friday night and a newly done out room, really nice. Downside ..... could not sleep with window open as noisy kitchen extractor vent right outside so avoid room 4 !
