The hotel is small but nice. The service is absolutely fabulous. The guys are nice and helpful. We spontaneous booked and it was quite easy and cheap. The locations is perfect to explore London and it's quite near to Victoria coach station. The breakfast is basic but good. Same the rooms. Value for money is pretty good. I would recommend the hotel and will book again.

Came to the Vic with a couple of friends on Saturday evening. There was a singer on and the atmosphere was amazing! The staff were really lovely and recommended me my new favourite gin! Will definitely be returning!

Really good service in here very helpful and made a really good lunch experience. Good food also and came quickly nothing was too much trouble

The Vic is our local pub, we live a few yards away! We go regularly with our dog and sometimes our Grandchildren. It's a very friendly place with great staff, the menu is comprehensive and the food is always tasty, they have a good range of real ales and other drinks. We can't recommend the Vic enough! Ian, Kathryn, and Fido.

We stayed in this hotel in January, excellent value for money. Excellent location with metro availability just a few meters away. Very spacious room and very good breakfast, both sweet and savory. We will definitely be back.

Very well located the 3 stars hotel have the minimal required commodities! The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is quite good, but the bed is small, and noisy, you can hear every noise from outside! The breakfast, have the basics: bread, butter, scrambled eggs, beans, sausage and bacon, but there is no cheese. Ou can have several types of tea and coffee.

The ladies working the breakfast are wonderful. Always smiling and upbeat.

We stayed from 02/21 to 02/25/2024. Very good location, the room is clean (just a little small and no storage) clean bathroom is spacious, the little extra tea and coffee available in the room ironing board and iron. Welcoming, friendly and competent staff, I recommend it.

Pésimo Hotel. En primer lugar y lo mas impactante de todo, es que al momento del desayuno nos encontramos con un ratón en uno de los sillones en donde comen los huéspedes (adjuntamos fotografías), se dio aviso de manera inmediata, las personas de la cocina manifiestan que es segunda vez que se ve al ratón y que gerencia no hizo nada. Es por esto, que reclamamos en recepción y su solución momentánea fue darnos dos bebidas gratis y decirnos que mañana iría el exterminador (nunca se confirmó esto). En segundo lugar, nos dimos cuenta que la limpieza de la habitación era mínima, no había limpieza del piso ya que se notaba basura del día anterior. En tercer lugar, se escuchaban los ruidos de las habitaciones del lado y de arriba, lo cual era molesto al momento de descansar. Lo que podemos rescatar del lugar es la atención de la Sra. Myriam de cocina, quien siempre estuvo atenta y preocupada, pidiendo disculpas por las situaciones antes mencionadas. Además, otra cosa a destacar es la ubicación del Hotel y la cercanía a una estación de metro. Sin embargo, se nota en general una mala administración en su conjunto. Al parecer no les interesa ofrecer una atención digna y de calidad a sus huéspedes, quienes nos vamos muy desilusionados ya que lo que se ve en la página del hotel es muy distinto a la realidad.

Just back from an overnight stay at this hotel, what a great experience from start to finish !!! A fair fee for a great accessible location in the City, we had a full two day itinerary to make the most of our trip arriving ahead of time & leaving before & after check in & check out yet F.O.C.we were able to store our luggage at the hotel in a secure room, the staff in all departments were kind accommodating informative & helpful, the room was everything you would need for a place to get prepared & have a good quiet night's sleep & a breakfast included if you wished indulge, more than happy with this stay & would happily return again, highly recommend, thank you !!!

Holiday Inn Express Victoria was an excellent hotel for our 8 day stay in London. The rooms were cleaned every day and the staff were all so kind and helpful. The breakfast is a good spread for holiday inn, and the food is the same every day. It does not get boring because they have multiple options for hot foods, carbs, fruits, jams, etc. Miriam in the breakfast room was especially kind and helpful, especially with my sister’s gluten allergy. She brought gluten free bread each day to our table for her which was so kind. The location of this hotel is also excellent, it’s a short walk to Pimlico station (5) or Victoria Station (12) so it’s easy to get around london. Overall, this is an excellent hotel if you’re looking for a good location, quiet and clean rooms, and great staff!

Good hotel for the price. We were supposed to stay in a room with a double bed and a sofa bed, but they complimented us and gave us a large room with a double bed and two single beds, big and comfortable. The gluten-free breakfast option was just cornflakes, bread and sausage, and in general the breakfast was poor. The staff was kind. The location is very good.

Bien que petites, les chambres sont très bien équipées, petit plus pour les prises usb intégrées qui évitent d’avoir à utiliser un adaptateur pour prise UK. Le petit déjeuner est varié et très bon. Une adresse à retenir pour une prochaine visite à Londres.

This pub is really special. The atmosphere when you walk in lifts your mood. Everyone appears to be catered for. Disabled , dogs, children, quizzers,karaoke. The choice of beer is impressive.The food was good. The staff helpful and friendly. A real local in its best sense.

There where 13 of us and I'd pre ordered our food a few weeks prior. When we arrived our table was ready for us and we where greeted immediately and shown our table. The manager came and introduced herself, which was lovely. I was all ready with the list of everyone's dishes so I could point out who had what, but then the staff came out and had associated the dishes with everyone's names 😲🥰 This made things so easy for me and we all felt like the staff has put in so much extra effort to make our experience enjoyable! We weren't bothered or rushed, and the staff were accomodating with any request we had. We just had the best time! Great food, great staff and a bargain!! I'll definitely be back and I'd think so will the ladies I came with 😁

Went to watch the football, have a couple of drinks and a meal. Ended up having the Sunday lunch which was very nice and good about for money. Good relaxing atmosphere. Only downside is they ran out of a couple of food items but it is what it is.

After being here a few times and after reading reviews from other people I can say if you don’t have children it could potentially be a better visit but if you do have children the staff are very strict, told us they can’t cope with children this day the last day ect, very unwelcoming could be having a bad day and they act as if it’s them that should get the special treatment, fake smiles. Can tell they are miserable and the older members staff are training the younger member to be the norm of customer service, terrible and unfriendly and massively overrated, will always try to avoid this bar, hopefully one day they will have friendly trained staff, there no way you could call this a family bar

After a busy few days travelling with work and colleagues, we were treated to an evening out from the big boss. We were staying in a hotel local to this site and we started our ‘pub crawl’ here. A beautiful building, which seems to be extremely well maintained. A reasonable sized front garden, with lots of character. We had early visited another pub which had cask ale in, so we continued to drink ales at this pub also! We weren’t disappointed here either! I must say, the collage of the beer mats on the wall, was certainly a unique and effective detail, which a few of us spent observing and one of our party actually claimed to having drank at least one pint of them all, on his travels, wow! We didn’t dine here as we were dining later on in the evening. However, a few tables were dining and I must say, all that returned to the kitchen were empty plates. So if we’re ever in the area again, I’m sure we’ll visit for lunch or tea! The staff were very pleasant, I believe Sue was the manager. What a lovely person! She was extremely helpful and really dedicated time in getting to know my colleagues and I!

My mum went in there with her partner and got some grief from a local about having a ‘sullen face’ because he barged in front of her. The barman then starting shouting at her aswell because the man was a local!

Visited for after work drinks, which were much needed in this heat🥵 Soaked up the sun in the lovely beer garden & stayed a little longer than expected Highly recommend

Traditional British Pub. First visit tried the Seniors lunch deal 2 courses for £6.99 could not fault it. Good range beers and friendly guy behind bar. Our waitress was brilliant chatty and a treasure. Will be back soon. Thank you.

Food is great, lovely atmosphere! Service is always fantastic, and it’s dog friendly which is a bonus! Staff are a credit to the place too every single one of them served with a smile, Caitlin and Sue never seem to stop smiling!

What a great pub this is. "The Vic" is a real local pub and has a really good atmosphere. Plenty of choice of beers and spirits. Particularly like the Ice Breaker IPA and if you like gin they have a lot to choose from. Our server, Caitlin, had a good knowledge and suggested the mixers with the different gins I tried. She and the rest of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. There is also a plentiful menu. I had the chicken and ham pie which was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.

Mi capita spesso di viaggiare in alberghi Holiday Inn o di IHG e questo rispetto agli altri l'ho trovato un più vissuto. Forse è legato anche al contesto generale degli alberghi di Londra che hanno prezzi più alti a parità di servizio rispetto alle altre città europee. Ad ogni modo noi abbiamo dormito abbastanza comodamente nonostante la camera non fosse perfettamente insonorizzata: si sentivano i rumori dall'esterno ed il calpestio dal piano superiore. Lo spazio delle camere è molto ristretto e non vi sono cassettiere per appoggiare gli indumenti o magari un tavolino di appoggio. Dalla tv nessuno dei canali era visibile ma noi siamo stati solo due giorni quindi non è stato un problema. La colazione essenziale ma completa. Il personale molto gentile sia nell'area colazione e bar che alla reception. Visti i prezzi e visto il livello generale di Holiday Inn mi aspettavo qualcosa in più. Buona la posizione a pochi minuti dalla metro e stazione dei bus di Vittoria.

Great location in London that if a few minutes walk to public transportation. Friendly staff who care about serving the customer. There was a issue with our reservation and the hostess got the issue solved immediately (thank you). The room was clean and cozy making for a much needed night of sleep. They have free breakfast with lots of choices and super amazing, friendly, wonderful staff. Checkout was simple and we’re on our way. Thank you for the amazing memories

My wife and I will definitely give 5 stars! Why? Here are the reasons: Location- 10 to 15 mins walk to the beautiful spots in london but if you want to take coach the stop is near. So no worries on accessibility. Accomodation- its fine and it is clean. We are over looking the streets, so nice when you wake up in the morning. Breakfast- we love the pancakes! Food are just basic but it is enough to fuel up the day! Price- not so expensive and worth it! Staff- they are very very accomodating. We arrive early in the hotel and we ask them if we could check in early and fortunately there was a room available and they grant us our request. We are very very grateful with that. And when we checked out it is OK to leave our luggage in the front desk and got it again in the evening. Customer service? Excellente! We will absolutely recommend Holiday Inn express to everyone especially to my fellow Filipinos.

Great central location, we had a brilliant time exploring London. The hotel is fine but I think we got a bad room. Dark, dingy and a bit dirty basement room, sandwich between the staff room and the breakfast room, very noisy from 6.30am. Our room wasn't cleaned and restocked, which meant we had too when we got back late. Breakfast was basic but had everything we needed to start our day. Would stay again for location, but AVOID lower ground floor!!!!!

Fine hotel to stay in for a business trip in Victoria. The room was clean and had everything you could need. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, and the breakfast was average, but as expected for this hotel offering. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We booked for 3 nights, guy on reception was very welcoming. Arriving at our room it wasn't what we had booked online the picture was completely different the room was so small we had nowhere to put luggage without tripping over or stepping over it. The room was so hot!! Windows didn't open properly and the fan was just blowing around hot air!! It was so hot me and my partner were dripping with swear after getting changed! Went down to reception bar to cool off and thought I would ask if we could change rooms. I couldn't sleep in that room without feeling ill I explained. The guy just said " no sorry " and smiled... had the worst night sleep the next morning me and my partner were searching for other hotels to stay in but no luck as it was new years eve.. we asked for a refund and was told no.... we decided to go to breakfast and find a plan b .. Breakfast was awful. Scrambled egg tasted like powder! The dinning room so tiny and again SOOOOO HOT! Practically sitting on top of everyone. We decided to go back to our room and as we walked past reception I noticed there was different staff so thought I would try again and ask if they can move us... the ladies said yes after explaining everything. We were moved into a bigger room basically next to reception I was happy with that until.. again room was so hot turned all the radiators off. Asked for a fan was told no... managed to get the window open quiet wide which was nice until everybody walking past looked in as we were street level but it was be watched of suffocate!!! Had to try and sleep with the window open which didn't happen the noise was horrendous.. cars, buses drunk people. Also doors banging shut from inside the hotel constantly. Next morning me and my partner are just chilling in the sauna hot room barley clothed and the cleaner knocked and walked straight in. I jumped out of my skin! No apology just walked back out!! I had this planned for 2 years london NYE after the last few years with what's going on it was horrendous. I spent new years day crying. The money we had spent on that hotel and the experience. I never wanna go back to London and I would like a refund!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMNED THIS HOTEL AT ALL !!

Met up with family and friends for the Christmas Quiz night. We all had a fun night in a relaxed environment and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the quiz. We'll be back.

Nice staff, but the bed was terrible, very hard mattress like a board, light switch broken and bathroom needs a re furb. Breakfast room is in the basement very small and claustrophobic.

Absolutely stay anywhere else, this place is horrible. I picked this place as an IHG member, location and decent but not scary-cheap prices (it was arguably a bit pricy for the Express brand). I’d like to preface that the receptionist seemed new to the job, or I’d like to hope she was. That in mind, I’ve documented my experience as it happened regardless of the staff tenure. Upon checking in, I asked to add my IHG number to the booking (my mistake for forgetting). The receptionist said she would add it later after I got my room, but I asked if she could add it before then in case I could be upgraded. She told me only members with Gold status or above could get upgraded. I said multiple times I was a platinum member before she realized and then told me they were fully booked so no upgrades were available. While I completely respect that answer, I would have appreciated her confirming my status before making assumptions. The receptionist assigned me a room that is not listed on the signage in the lobby. She gave me 3 different directions to the room (right of the front desk, left of the front desk, up the elevator) all of which were incorrect and didn’t include the number of my room. Finally, she called someone and asked “Do we actually have a room #XXX?”) and then gave me instructions to take the elevator down to the below-ground level. I also accidentally interrupted her helping another customer that had been waiting quite some time to ask multiple times for directions. Finally found my room and it was so so awful. I was given a room in the basement with no view or light, and down a doored-off hall that only had this room and the breakfast room right next to it, which made me feel unsafe. The room was not well cleaned (dirt on the bathroom floor, dried food on the carpet under the bedside table, carpet generally stained and dirty). There is no shampoo/conditioner in the shower, just soap. The electric kettle in the room comes with instant coffee but no tea. I checked out the breakfast room for tea bags and it is DISGUSTING. I went in there at 9pm at night and there were the breakfast foods sitting out (in serving platters, not someone’s meal) on one of the tables. The eggs, beans, sausage and ham looked dried out and somewhat spoiled, and were making the room smell. They had clearly been left there since the morning. The table with tea and sugar/creamer was filthy, strewn with trash and spills. Worst of all, there were ANTS on the table by the juice machine — I’m guessing they are not limited to the counter surfaces. I would not use a juice or coffee machine here as I can’t imagine they have ever been cleaned. I risked an orange from the fruit area and it was half rotten. The cereal and granola were out in their plastic containers that do not appear airtight - I would not trust that they are not sprinkled with some extra ant protein. OH! And the wifi (as an international traveler, a huge reason I booked this hotel) went down 20 minutes after I arrived. I called reception to ask and was told yes yes we are resetting it. 30 minutes later still no wifi. Finally came on again after multiple attempts, worked for another 10-20 minutes, and is now down again. Updating to say the bed was also unclean: I found dirt and crumbs when I pulled back the sheets as well as a black hair (I’m blonde). I felt gross all night and had trouble falling asleep with how yuck it was.

Theatre trip weekend. All theatres easily accessible by the nearby tube station a couple of minutes walk away. Or the number 24 bus. Despite being right on the road no traffic could be heard so don’t let this put you off. We stayed in room 115 which was more of a suite on the first floor. Some of the paintwork was a bit tired but everything available in the room we needed. Only given four stars as there were signs at breakfast saying vegetarian alternative options available but when we asked we were informed no there isn’t any. Plenty of breakfast choice though so not a big issue, even can grab a coffee to go as you leave. Comfortable beds and powerful shower.

Customer service always very good staff very pleasing and friendly, food is good standard for the cost and drinks also reasonable if you use your season ticket.We are frequent visitors to the Vic and will continue as long as the service remains as it is.
