Veggie king in Leicester

I ordered food from this place the taste was very bad and stale food

we tried kaddhi and roti for the first time in Leicester. first time from any restaurant, it tasted like ditto home made food. love to recommend this place🤤

This place is written disaster all over its menu. Nothing taste like food and the quality is nonexistent.

I clearly knew I ordered indian tea today and I was charged for this is not the first time this is the third time now every time I call back the lady says oh i didn’t charge you And I only charged you for what she gave me but after today I have realised doing the calculation from the menu she is a liar I want my 6 cups of indian tea it’s so pathetic because the cost of the teas are only £6

I don’t want to give even 1 star. I am a regular customer. Whenever the guy is there to take my order, he will always do something wrong. Once he got my order wrong and made me pay for it. Twice I was meant to pick up the pizza at a specific time, and he was about 20 min late. Today it was the same. I didn’t tolerate it today. And when I tried to talk to him, he was very rude and kept shrugging at me as if he didn’t understand. I was speaking to him in Punjabi so I know he knew he understood. Never going here again.

Today we order large on phone she told us the 8 50 price but we came to receive the pizza she give us medium pizza. These people lying about the size of the pizza and take extra money.

I'm a regular customer at Veggie King but the way the owner spoke to me today was horrendous, no manners whatsoever and he was tutting in my face as if I'd done something wrong when he mis-heard my order and then started arguing. I dunno if he was having a bad day but that's irrelevant to his role - POOR customer service from the owner himself, don't even bother expecting any better from the staff🥴

Got order wrong and half burnt and when I complained lady did not care. Shockingly poor customer service.

I love the fake meat substitute. You get chicken drumstick and chicken tandoori but for vegetarians!

The guy who owns the place is a nice guy and friendly... his wife on the other hand. Wow, what can I say? Rude, argumentative..oh and likes to swear at 1 year olds..yeah at my daughter. Will never go in here again. I'm generous in giving one star

Old was better , I enjoyed when this place used to be wear you can get lollies from I can’t remember what it was called but I used to get like a lolly or an ice pole-from here (I can’t remember) , I enjoy when this used to be the old place better

Veggie King is an amazing place for takeaway. It is very clean & hygienic. I was very impressed with the friendly staff and their quality of food is outstanding. I ordered Tarka Pizza deal yesterday on Sunday Morning, the owner was very helpful & understanding, she provided us with a brilliant service by delivering Pizza early Sunday Morning, although they had just opened and see delivered tasty Pizza in LE4 area, promptly with a great service & smile, that brought ray of sunshine morning, you have to try their Tarka Pizza, their speciality and I will give 5 Star for their taste & delivery service. I am very happy to recommend this place.

They simply do not understand clear English!!!! Ordered 3 for £10 plain cheese and tomato and veg 1 they gave us all veg rang the guy and he said you ordered cheese and tomato and not margarita!!!! How silly !!!! That's the 2nd time they have messed our order up no more chances now sorry you lost a customer plenty of pizza palaces in lesta!

My first order with Veggie King and my whole family were really happy - the pizza was delivered hot, plus provided a great customer service and being 100% veg myself I was happy with great tasting pizza with fresh toppings. Definitely recommend to all 👍

This review is specifically for the kalga. Its vegan soy based meat alternative. Weve had the drumsticks and the nuggets, both tasty. Weve also had a kebab sytle wrap which is actually naan and filled with a sticky kalga curry with peppers and onions really big portion and full of flavour, pretty cheap too!

My first taste of Indian food was from veggie king, the samosas are on point and really nice, there cooked fresh whilst you wait so that's good. The spring rolls are nice as well, there loads of sweets to try as well that all look really nice. The young man that served me was very friendly and helpful and explained what was in everything, I now go there regularly, well worth a visit and theres a park just down the road so you nip down there for a cheeky little picnic👍👅

We've ordered several times. The food served is consistent and always hot. The customer service is excellent. Great vegetarian food and a good menu selection. If you want delivery, I recommend you contact Veggie King direct... it's a better service than going through the usual delivery services. Thank you Veggie King!

Poor experience, pizza arrived squashed and damaged, chips stone cold. Was delivered on a pushbike...the delivery driver travelled 5 miles on bike and it took her 45 mins....no wonder it arrived cold and damaged. I will order from other more reliable firms who offer delivery by car or motorbike.

The go to place for veggie pizza!!! We ordered the veggie supreme, freshly made tasty base. They also deliver!! Give these guys a try you won't be disappointed. Did i mention they are pure vegetarian, ideal for those veggie lovers.

Ive been coming here for the sweets, but when I found out they made pizzas as well I had to try it. The quality for all the food is very good but I can't believe how fresh the pizza is. You will not be disappointed. Very friendly staff as well!!
