Was served by a lovely young man, friendly and polite. Fish was cooked to order and it was perfectly cooked with crispy batter, chips were tasty, not to greasy and the mushy peas were just like everything else lovely

Lovely fish & chips, polite friendly people

The food in this little chippy is really good. We have had food from here a few times and is consistent every time. I spend my time reviewing restaurants but I think your worth a mention.

The shop was lovely and clean, prices were great, the staff were so friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. We have struggled to find a decent chippy in the Leicester area and this was well worth the drive out. They serve pukka pies too unlike loads of the city ones! We will definitely be making the trip out again. There's enough parking and we managed to get a medium chips, large battered sausage, a pukka pie and a large curry sauce for a tenner.

2024 update .... Delivery driver is great...but other than that useless customer service after sending a chopped up chicken burger as a replacement for chicken strips . Called the shop and pathetic effort to help. Very poor. Excuses ...no attempt to rectify. Won't use again. Shame.

Will not be ordering from here again the chips weren’t even that nice and neither was the chicken kebab the chicken tasted burnt and I was waiting over an hour for it to be delivered

Don't buy food here. Smelly food and old chips they sell for kids. Disgusting!!! 🤮🤮🤮

Must be the best chippy in Leicester for the prices they are charging, only went in for chips and was shocked how much more they charge than every other chippy.

*UPDATE* I had a lovely call from Angelo to apologise. Lack of staff and very stressful night. We will continue to use them as the call meant alot and the food is always lovelly. Awesome delivery driver. . After having some lovely food from here in the past., we've waited 2 hours, had the phone put down when I've complained, then been assured the food would still come as of course we've still paid for it.... eventually got lovely food.

Found this place as new to the area and made a wrong turn. The food was great and the young girl behind the counter was even nice enough to bring my bag to the car whilst i was waiting. Staff member was very friendly.

The most expensive chippy in leicester.. £4.50 for a regular chips is an absolute joke .. hope they go under.

Price is very good and they don't charge delivery

Food is ok and they have an extensive menu on offer. Often a longish wait whilst your food is prepared. Portions are big and kebabs are really tasty.

If i could leave a zero I would, ordered through uber eats at 18:30, said food would be delivered by 19:30, still not arrived by 20:30, tried to call the restaurant 20 times or more and each time they just hung up, absolutely disgusting customer service and they've had over £30 off me!! Which i will be getting back!!!

Used this place several times through Just eat and was usually delighted. But after tonight will never use them again. I ordered the chicken kebab - might as well have ordered a piece of tasteless leather - plus the chips were cold and the 'salad' was soggy. I rang to complain and was offered a discount off my next order! As if! This place is going downhill fast! Also makes me wonder about Just Eat.

Absolutely the best chippy in Leicester. Portion sizes are perfect for normal sized people and this means less waste . Prices fit the times we are living in and this chippy provides a decent service to the customer. Food is cooked to professional standards, always hot and tasty . The shop does tends to be busy and there is a high demand for the food. This is something I want to see when looking to buy from a chip shop. Waiting for fish and chips etc is standard and shows the food is cooked fresh on demand.... No stale racid fat used in this establishment. ....waiting times have always been reasonable and as expected from a chip shop. The staff are friendly , helpful and hardworking. I highly recommend people visit this chip shop.

I would actually give ZERO stars. Just placed an order for collection in 10minutes. Walked in to an EMPTY shop to be told they were too busy to do my order. Why didn’t they say that on the phone or ring me back!!! DISGUSTING-DO NOT USE. Awful customer service.

Very very tight with portions. £2.70 for about a hand full of chips. Won’t be bothering next time.

Just okay. Fish is greasy batter is undercooked it's the fluffy kind of texture underneath chips just standard kebab is thick could of done with a bit longer in my opinion kids £1 special great value for money also staff are very polite

Only good point chips were nice. Burgers grissle, salad looked like it had been prepared with a butter knife. Huge chunks of onion almost an inch wide ruined the burger even more. Staff are pleasant but no leadership they just milling around like in a youth club so order took forever as well

I've used this chip shop for years for the £1 special for my 87 year old mother and today was charged a service charge on top. I'm very disappointed.

Ordered through delivery, was a large curry short, battered sausages were really over cooked and chips were just crust the only things which were nice was the fish cakes and mushy peas, deliveroo driver was lovely

Good food but be prepared to wait a lifetime to get it! Place was completely empty and it took the 3 staff 45 mins for 1 bag of chips, fish, mushy peas, fritter and a kebab! Could have killed it, cooked it and ate it in that time.

Just about the best chippy around selling some Indian food and kebabs too. All at a reasonable price

Never had a problem with their food. Staff always polite, order has always been piping hot, their £1 meals for the smaller kids are so ideal and never wasted. Chips have been some of the best I’ve had and I’m not a chip lover. Kebabs have always been a good one in my house with no complaints. Overall brilliant service, brilliant food.

First time ordering - never again. Chips were a cold, greasy mess,curry sauce cold. Battered sausage and chicken were tasty but the chips let you down. Sorry guys

Used this place twice now on the too good to go app (stops food being wasted) the first time was because I had ordered from another chip shop who let us down, so i went looking for another magic food parcel, and they couldn't have been more helpful. Second time tonight, the food was all really well cooked, the fish is better than toppers in Nuneaton, had kebab,chicken tikka, battered sausage, salad, pie absolutely everything is cooked to perfection. We travel 15miles to come to here and its for a good reason.

Had Angelo's deliver us £ specials the food and service was fantastic I can definitely recommend them.

This excellent fish & chip takeaway shop opened recently (27/3/2020). I have used it several times since its opening and I have consistently been very satisfied by the quality of the food - it is always hot, there is a wide variety of types of food available and it is served quickly by the friendly, polite and efficient staff. It has a wheelchair accessible entrance and there is easy parking in a parking bay which is immediately outside the shop (more parking is also available locally). I recommend this fish & chip shop.
