Never had reason to write a review for this place but the attitude and the service was appalling. I ordered plain fried mogo chips. Got home and eagerly opened the container and found that the chips I received were either refried several times and very greasy or the oil they used had been used for frying other food. I took the mogo back, they said they would fry another portion for me. It came back and was the same! They then told me they use that oil all day long for everything they fry anything. I asked for a refund which they refused to give me and the girls serving were very loud and were very threatening, I felt intimidated.

Took a mate and our respective sons here on way home. He was sceptical about coming here, but as soon as we walked through the door he knew that we were in a special food place! We ordered samosas (still the best in the world, probably) and a mix of pakoras etc. plus the usual carrot halwa (also the best in the world, probably - I've eaten it in various places including some in India, and Milan's is undoubtedly the best). It was that good, we went back for more samosas.

Siempre fresco.

The food itself is good, considering the price , is it better going elsewhere? I cant help but feel standards are slipping, and one is talking advantage of those whom come back again and again out of habit. If you see the side door in to the kitchen im not to sure u would shop here again... Mixed bunch really ... O the customer service.. there is none... the milk dishes... just dont go there... not fresh

Use to live in Leicester and often come back to visit family. Always stop at Milans for samosas and sweets. One of the best I have found. Back there next week on my visit. Keep up the good food.

I've been going to this sweet mart from the very onset and have been going back for more for many a year. No wonder there is always a queue, always a good sign. The food is very reasonable and has remained the same taste and quality I've been having for over 20+ years. Try the samosa chaat, masala dosa or pani puri to name a few. Of course most people come for the samosas and barfi which are a definite treat. Perfect for everyday snacky foods.

I bought bhaji samosas bhel puri other savouries I didn't know the names of mutter pane'er mixed veg. It was all excellent 10 out of 10. I will certainly return whenever I am near!

Really enjoy the sweet meats from here. There's lots to choose from. I prefer the barfee and gulab jamuns delights. Also there's many shops around so its a good idea to eat at Shahi Naan kebab in St savious road then have dessert at Milan sweets. st saviours road is just around the corner.

Really shocked! With standards. Slow service. Products of poor quality. I would recommend going melton road or green land road. What ever you do don't get any rasmalai, item has no best before date and workers tell you over the counter to consume in two days otherwise it will go off. So how is it royal products have a best before date of 2 months? Would be careful of their products and double check everything before it goes in the box!

Been coming to this shop since the early 1990s, food is as good as ever, my favourites are the samosas (fresh cooked to order) and the super sweet Carrot Halwa. Dokla (spelling?) is also excellent, as are the lentil bhajis and pakoras. In fact it's all nice. Looking forward to lunch tomorrow, 'cos I saved a load of samosas

It was a pleasant surprised to find Milan. It offers variety of Gujarati mean, farsan and Sweets for take away. We had few different items. They all have been tasty. We will actively explore this place on our future visit to Leicester.

I was shopping with my mum and sister on Melton Road and we were looking for a restaurant that serves non-veg food. We came across Curry Fever and decided to give it a go and we are so glad we did! The restaurant is very clean and looks great inside. The waiter was very friendly and helped us to choose our food. The food was made fresh and was so tasty. It was definitely the best mixed sizzler we have ever had! We are very impressed with the excellent service and tasty food! We cannot wait to visit again and highly recommend this restaurant.

So frustrating, we ordered take away at 7pm NYE expecting a delay but over 2hrs later it's not arrived and they haven't answered the phones. They took the money and the customer service has been awful. Be honest, what kind of service is this? Very frustrated.
