Val's cafe in Worthing

Amazing breakfast and very friendly service. Have been here with friends and family on separate occasions and it is consistent and excellent value for money. Street parking close by and close access to Worthing town centre.

Just been for a beautiful breakfast here and had the best time.From the minute we walked in we were greeted by Millie who went out of her way to make us comfortable and we ordered a big breakfast and a veggie breakfast.The veggie breakfast was just over 10 pound and included a coffee (where do you even get that anymore?)The veggie breakfast had really nice seeded brown bread and actually had a few different vegetables on there , beautifully cooked eggs and bubble and squeak.the big breakfast had 2 of everything and the sausage and bacon were cooked perfectly.Lillie served us our food and was so bubbly and mollie cooked it ,all in all we had the best experience and well done to Millie, Lillie and Mollie for ticking all the boxes ♥️Great quality and value for money ❤️

We had a phenomenal veggie breakfast and brilliant coffee. Everything was cooked perfectly and they are so friendly. Even though they were very busy they accommodated us and managed our expectations. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back

Laura and her team have created a real gem in Worthing transforming what used to be Vals Cafe into RISE; a stylish and friendly hangout serving fantastic coffee and passionately and cooked food. Locally sourced sausages, eggs and coffee really made our breakfast something special. Can’t wait to return!

We've been to Rise a couple of times now, the latest over the weekend with family and every time we've been it's been lovely! The variety of foods on the menu is great and the service has been fantastic. 100% recommend and will of course be returning when we are in Worthing again. Thank you!

Shocking customer service and the food was horrible. They messed our meals up and gave my friend food with dairy after clearly stating she was allergic. The staff were rude and their body language was harsh. I don’t personally recommend

Stopped on way back from Lancing to Southampton. Lovely friendly staff. ordered coffees (which were lovely and hot - latte can often be disappointingly lukewarm) - hubby had a sausage and egg bap and I had a tuna mayo jacket which came with a delicious side salad. The salad included some lovely roasted pumpkin and sunflower seeds and the chef kindly shared her recipe with me. for a simple meal, it was full of taste. lovely!

Fantastic newly acquired Cafe in Worthing... Homemade food and totally delicious ... And the girls were really friendly. I had spiced butternut squash soup and I have to say that it's the best butternut squash soup I've ever had and I'm really really fussy. My mum had the homemade cottage pie with beautifully cooked fresh vegetables. Thoroughly recommend going there. The prices are very reasonable and they also do proper cooked fresh homemade roasts and dinners and breakfast and lunch. Closes at 2.30pm but bonus is it's open Saturday and Sunday (only closes Monday) Definitely pay them a visit.

Good meal enjoyed by 5 of us all had something different roast chicken roast beef burger and chips jacket potato with beans and cheese. 1 breakfast. All very good. And puddings 1 syrup sponge custard. 2 toffee pudding with ice cream. Enjoyed by all.

A very tasty beef curry! Possible to park in a side road, with care, this is otherwise near a traffic light junction on a busy main road, this little cafe excels in very tasty food. Well worth returning.

We have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. Always a warm welcome. Tasty food, well presented. Had the lasagne, cottage pie and liver and bacon so far. Have yet to go in to have a pudding but can never find room after the main meal.

Stopped for a cup of tea but also had the apple & rubarb crumble - generous portion served with ice cream. Delightful! Level access, but not large enough loo for a wheelchair. Definitely one to return to.

A wonderful place. The food is lovingly cooked and a good price. The staff are so friendly, caring and very attentive - I would argue that you would find better anywhere else!!!! I love the deco in the cafe and it is imaculately clean. The homemade cakes are delicious. What else can I say but get yourself down to Val’s Cafe, you won’t be disappointed!!

Had the big appetite breakfast, did not disappoint!! It was all delicious and piping hot. I loved the fried slice not too oily👍👍bacon was thick and full of flavor. Very friendly atmosphere, clean and airy (Not a greasy spoon).

Had a lovely brunch/late breakfast on Saturday on the way to the beach. Had a couple of extras and the bacon was the best I've had in a long time. Great service/lovely people - both the owners and the patrons, scrumptious food, lovely looking cafe, immaculately clean (even the WC). Look forward to coming back again.

Walked in and was greeted with a very friendly welcome, really smart decoration and exceptionally clean. Ordered the Bigger Appetite breakfast and was definitely not disappointed food was cooked perfectly and not swimming in grease, finished with a very clean plate, another little bonus ordering a tea the teabag was left in which is what I love as I like my tea strong. in the in Worthing this place is definitely worth a visit for brekky.

I visit this Cafe regularly as cleanliness and quality are very important to me and that seems to be lacking in a lot of cafs in Worthing. The breakfasts are absolutely beautiful with a large menu to choose from with very competitive prices. Always a newspaper to read and a warm welcome. I could not recommend Val’s cafe more. Xxx

Sorry to say but this was a bad breakfast. Scrambled egg had white blobs in it cos it wasn’t whisked properly. Fried bread was floppy and fried on one side which was weird. Bacon was to fatty. Sausages were cheap. This was a £7.00 breakfast everyone. It seemed the chef was in a rush to get the poor quality food out. What a shame it used to be a top cafe.

Visited for breakfast last week with my girlfriend and daughter, great welcome quick service and fantastic food all cooked to order. Next time in Worthing will be visiting that's for sure.

quintessentially English cafe , no continental here, the real deal , super friendly , handed me a napkin as soon as I walked in ,to clear my steamed up glasses, then handed me a carrier for my sodden paperwork,Loverly people.

My husband and I really enjoyed our breakfast here. The food was good to perfection, the atmosphere was relaxed and the staff friendly! The only thing we didn't like was that there was only one set breakfast which stated 'no substitutes' and to have a breakfast your own way every item was 90p making it an expensive breakfast. Suggestion: more set breakfast with a little lea way! Then place would be perfect!

I came here for a breakfast, and chose several items of my own choice from the menu. Everything nicely cooked and served promptly. Friendly owners.
