Vale Victoria in City of London, Westminster

Comimos allí dos veces durante la semana pasada en una visita a Londres. No parece mucho desde el exterior, pero la comida es muy buena y a un precio muy razonable. La lasaña vegetariana es realmente delicioso. Mi amigo no estaba muy impresionado con el pescado en la primera visita, pero realmente disfruté de la tortilla en la segunda visita. El personal es muy agradable y servicial. Sin duda volvería de nuevo en futuras visitas a Londres.

Fui aquí hoy con mi hija y el camarero (quizás gerente) fue muy servicial. Nos ayudó a tomar asiento, no me apresuré cuando necesité alimentarla, se ofreció a limpiar su tazón y cuchara para mí y luego se desvió de su camino para abrir la puerta. La comida era decente, el desayuno típico de una cafetería. El café estaba realmente bueno. Amor apoyando a la gente buena!

Encontré este lugar después nos dimos por vencidos en una cafetería diferente por la carretera, que quería cobrar 15 libras por un sándwich, que no estábamos preparados para pagar. Los precios aquí fue mucho más razonables y el personal es mucho más amable, con más personas dentro, lo que es una gran ventaja para hacernos la estancia. Había una buena selección para elegir, una cosa que me confundió fue que cuando entramos en la era de publicidad "Haz tu propio "panini y ensaladas, pero no estaban en el menú, pero no arruinó la experiencia porque los menús cambian.Hamburguesas ordenados y no me di cuenta que el tamaño de las raciones, la hamburguesa era absolutamente delicioso, a pesar de no poder terminarla porque me llenó. Las patatas fritas eran deliciosos no grasienta como en algunos otros lugares. Sin embargo, el ketchup estaba aguado que era inusual, podría decir este fue el caso cuando me sacudía la botella de agua y salí de ella, todavía estaba delicioso. Toda esta comida me llenó para el resto del día y sólo podía comer un bocadillo pequeño para la cena. Volvería de nuevo si estoy al lado de la zona.

Toda la comida que pedimos estaba delicioso, huevos y tocino cocinado como se especifica, jugo recién exprimido y porciones generosas. El caballero que nos servía era cálido, amable y alegre. Sin duda lo recomendaría a mis amigos y familia y comemos aquí en el área.

Cute little cafe with very friendly service - great paninis. Got to sit outside at a table on the sidewalk and enjoy the neighborhood as well as their free WiFi.

Da dire subito che le aspettative delle grande cucine non si deve pretendere in Inghilterra quindi.... da tutti i posti che abbiamo provato sicuramente qui c'è stata subito la disponibilità del personale Posto modesto vicinissimo alla fermata della metro Victoria, fish and chips non male...la carne argentina piccolo pezzo per 15£ ma tutto sommato buono il cibo.Il long brown coffe qui è davvero buono.

Recientemente estuve cambiando de tren en Victoria y tenía 50 minutos de repuesto y decidimos tomar el desayuno. No soy un gran fan de lugares para comer o de la estación indentikit cafeterías corporativas que abundan en nuestras ciudades. Así que nos dirigimos al salir de la estación y al otro lado de la carretera y descubrimos Vale. Nada de lujos pero cómodo, con un servicio amable. Tienen el rango completo de típico inglés, pero simplemente me fui para una salchicha y huevos. Mejor que el promedio de café en Londres y un tamaño generoso. Sin duda un buen antídoto Pret. Café decente.

Fue nuestros primeros fish & chips de Londres y los únicos de tomar, muy buenos , se veía un restaurante de buena comida y el precio no es caro, volveré cuando vuelva a visitar la ciudad.

This place has great and quite cheap breakfast food. We've ordered two full english breakfasts and we've been not dissapointed. There was a lot of it, it was delicious. They have a very good tea too and price is really quite low for that much of a food of that quality. Our waitress was also nice and helpful.

Resultó una agradable sorpresa este lugar, tomamos el desayuno inglés y un panini de pollo, ambos platillos bastante suficientes y muy buen sabor. La atención de su personal también es un buen acierto, pues fue excelente.En un momento el lugar se llenó de trabajadores de la construcción, lo que confirma que es un muy buen lugar para desayunar. Cabe mencionar que como turistas, ese desayuno nos proporcionó bastantes energías para recorrer todo Londres durante el día sin sentir hambre. Lo recomiendo? Por supuesto, volvería algún día? Eso espero.

Great breakfast place. The vegetarian option was fantastic. Quick in and quick out. One block from Victoria Station. Very friendly staff.

J'adore ce petit endroit à la décoration murale très royaliste. Le service est sympathique et rapide, l'ambiance est très agréable. Les petits déjeuners sont variés, copieux et excellents. Des sandwichs originaux et très copieux également sont proposés.

We visited this lovely little restaurant in between our visits to the Buckingham Palace. 4 adults and 3 children 2 10 year olds and a 6 year old. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food well what can I say it was really very very good. My daughter had the biggest chicken burger and chips and I had toasted salmon and onion sandwich with chips and it was so filling we didn't want anything the rest of the day. I will be recommending this lovely place to friends and family. Def visit again.....

We had a nice breakfast with my family in Café Vale Victoria. First impressions of the place was ok. They have enough space inside and also more seats outside further in the garden. It seemed to be a favourite for the local construction workers which is not a bad sign. The food on the counter was fresh looking and there were lots of different dishes to choose from in the menu.We had poached eggs, mozzarella panini, mushroom omelette and some scrambled eggs with bacon. The average rating we gave for the meal was 3/5. They were all well cooked and freshly prepared, but for example the scrambled eggs felt a bit unsatisfying and boring. The omelette was good though.The staff felt a bit unwelcoming. They were not smiling for us or for anyone else for what I saw, but it did not bother us. There were many customers during that time and they might have been stressed. They got the job done well though.Prices were a bit high: ~7£/dish + coffee or tea which makes it around 10£ for a meal for breakfast. It's a bit high for the quality. There are definitely better options if you have the energy to search and walk a little further. But it's not a bad option if you don't mind the prices and don't feel like spending time to find anything better. If you do decide to eat there, try omelette or sandwiches.

Vale Victoria - это небольшой но хороший ресторанчик, напоминает семейные кафе где готовят только любимые блюда. Интерьер простой. Еда свежая и вкусная, порции внушительных размеров что делает сочетание цены и качества очень разумным.

After travelling Italy, Germany, Amsterdam & France finally found the right place for english breakfast. Fantastic service, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend it.

After three weeks in Europe and three countries, I think Vale Victoria had the best cappuccinos and porridge that came with the best smiles. This is a small place that you can easily walk past, but if you enter the small doorway you will enter into a quaint, simple, clean and friendly cafe. This is not fancy but it is comfortable and convenient. Our server, Fabio, was the biggest reason we went back here several times during our stay. The prices are reasonable, food was good and the service was spot on every time.

Having been declined for breakfast at the nearby The Goring Hotel as they were understandably full with residents that morning, I wandered round Victoria in search of an English Breakfast at 7.30am. I nearly passed by this modest looking establishment but noted well presented focaccia and ciabatta filled breads at their counter. Drawn inside, a helpful young waited showed me to a clean table and soon brought me a delicious mug of latte. Meanwhile I had checked the menu and decided on the FEB (Full English Breakfast) with a changes if these could be accommodated.I am very particular about sausages and generally do not like any old Cumberland banger so traded in their offering for an extra slice of grilled bacon. One fried egg is a bit miserable on its own so requested two which was fine at no extra cost. Finally, I prefer fried bread to those potato things and again my wishes were accepted. Thus I ended up with a really good plateful of well cooked and presented breakfast treats with the fried bread on a side plate which was such a sensible idea. All this for the very modest price of £7.95 (The Goring might have been £30?) plus excellent coffee £2.80 - worth every penny. Recommended.

Lovely little cafe, food well presented, tasty and plentiful. We had a tuna melt sandwich (turned out it was a decker!), a Valerie special, and mum had a huge bowl of vegetable soup. Service was polite and friendly. Would recommend you give it visit.

Some may say that this place has a certain retro charm - personally I would say that it is a bit shabby and it's certainly overpriced. There are plenty of alternatives nearby.

I have been coming here for years for breakfast or for lunch. Or sometimes both. Although it changed management a couple of years ago it's still a handy place for a fairly priced English breakfast or for a lunchtime sandwich or, better still, something hot from the daily freshly prepared lunch selection. It's a good place to stop by before or after visiting Buckingham Palace and it's two minutes from Victoria railway station. Most other snack places in the area are chains or just not as good. And they serve good, Brazilian coffee.

Se você não quiser gastar muito e ainda matar a saudade da língua portuguesa, o Vale Victoria, bem perto do Palácio de Buckingham e quase na esquina com a Victoria Street, é a escolha perfeita. Claudio, um simpáatico português da Ilha da Madeira, que pretende se estabelecer em Natal daqui a uns três anos, é ótimo papo e conduz com eficiência este pequeno e despretensioso restaurante.Para os padrões londrinos, os preços são excelentes. Você pode escolher pelo cardápio, com pratos por volta de 9 libras, mas a melhor opção é o buffet, que sai a 7,95 e que Claudio serve em porções generosas. O cozinheiro é português, o que garante sabor aos pratos e é adequado ao paladar brasileiro. O café, no balcão, custa 1,20 libra, preço imbatível. Sobe para 1,85 na mesa. Uma Stella Artois pequena sai por 3,70 libras. Bebida é cara mesma, pense duas vezes.

This is definitely the newest nor brightest restaurants we have been to. But the Value, and quality of food for breakfast was perfect. I typically would rate this as a 4 but the staff and over all experience as a foreigner was warm professional and accommodating. Which can be hard to find. The coffee was very good and the big breakfast was very tasty. The road out front was closed due to and accident down the road so we just ended up here and was very happy. A great pleasure to start a morning tour of Buckingham Palace as its just a few minutes walk down the road. Just a quick note. A lot of locals and service people stopped in for coffees and snacks which I think speaks well to the ownership of this restaurant and it quality of service and product.

This was a great restuarant! I had Pasta Carbonara. It was hot and flavorful! My husband had the fishburger and loved it. Ice Cream was great. Don't order the grilled chicken, it was kind of blah. The rest of the food was great though. Service speedy and friendly also! Great prices.

Small inexpensive café near Victoria station: the coffee was good but the food was variable.My bacon sandwich was fine (good enough I had a second one) and the croque was also good. However, the eggs Loreto Royale (poached eggs with smoked salmon) were a disappointment as they were served cold for both members of our party who ordered them. They were quickly replaced but this was not a good meal.Service was friendly and efficient and the light lunch and drinks came to £11 per head.Good for a coffee or a sandwich but not a good prospect for a hot meal.

I visited here with my family shortly after leaving Buckingham Palace; it can be found just down the road from the exit. I ordered egg royale (named something else), which consisted of poached eggs and smoked salmon on brioche and covered with hollandaise sauce. It made for a tasty brunch and I polished it off pretty quickly. The quality of brioche wasn't amazing, and perhaps a better-sourced variety would make this a five-star review. Good price, nice food and a relaxed venue. Worth popping in.

We were on our way to Buckingham Palace and decided to stop off somewhere for a light lunch. We thought that Balls Brothers looked a bit fancy, so toddled up the road a bit and came across Vale Victoria. What a pleasant surprise. We were given the opportunity to sit either inside or outside on the "terrace" so we chose the latter. The waitress was very friendly and took our drinks orders giving us time to peruse the menu. There was a lot of choice, but as we were only having a snack we settled on croissants. I had cheese and ham and my mum had cheese and mushroom with a bechemal sauce. Well, what we thought was a snack was HUGE! It was lovely and tasty and came with a side salad with dressing. I had TWO croissants filled with cheese and ham and mum struggled to finish hers. It was very reasonably priced. For two meals and two drinks it came to just under £15.00. We will definitely go back there again if we are in the Victoria vicinity.

It was a cold rainy day in London and we were searching for a place to stop and have a coffee and a bite to eat for lunch. We found this small little café and they made us happy! We had the lovely salad and garlic bread. I decided on a glass of wine and my husband had coffee. The food was really good , service was prompt and polite. Good place to also stop if you need to make use of the restroom which is downstairs. It is very cramped and small but it was worth it to stop in and have a rest, get some fuel and go back to sight seeing. Close to Buckingham palace.

Locale tipicamente inglese. Il personale è gentile e veloce, i piatti ricordano un po' quelli dei self service, cioè è tutto già preparato. I panini non sono male, peccato che la scelta non sia molto ampia.
