I had the stir fry with quinoa and beef satay - It was absolutely delicious and I really appreciate they do these healthy and nourishing meals. Service also excellent.

We have been going to DV8 for a very long time and it was always a special treat , but last night to celebrate my birthday was a big disappointment, the place has changed so much it just felt like a overpriced cafe, we had a dirty high chair by our table which was never moved , the cutlery was just put on the table not placed nicely by the customer like it used to be,the food was nice , but was very expensive,we paid £111 for a wrap.burger and 2 DV8 chips and 2 puddings and soft drinks. One pudding had to go back as the cookie dough was stone cold with cold custard. We ordered a cheesecake of the day ( double decker) and a plain cheesecake came. The service was so slow and not good at all. So for me it was terrible and wont be going again

Great consistent food. Ladies say fantastic cocktails that change regularly and are holiday themed. Fair selection of beer. Service could be better. They sometimes forget about you. Loaded fries are great.

Great place to eat, drink and have a chat. Beef brisket wrap was delicious. Reasonably priced and the lady serving us was lovely.

Came here for my girlfriend’s birthday and team went above and beyond to make it special. Special thanks to Izzy who was so nice and her service was unmatched to any I’ve had before. Food was also beautiful and drinks were excellent too!

Nice venue, great service. Came for brunch, with kids, it was a good experience over all. Food was a bit hit and miss across the dishes. Some was great, some was a less so, goujons really greasy. Also didn't love scolding hot food and crockery for some kids food. Edit to add we come here regularly nowadays, once per fortnight, and it's been consistently great.

Not a place for me .. though having said that, a lot of my friends (girls) love it. Not the cheapest place in town but the food and cocktails are worth the expense. On the few occasions I have visited DV8 the staff have always been friendly, pleasant and professional. A good place to go on a girls/couples night out

Thank you to Jessica and the DV8 team for making my 21st birthday so special, we got to decorate the venue how we wanted and all we needed to pay for was the buffet per person so no room hire fee! The food was incredible and the waitresses were so attentive with taking empty glasses and asking about more drinks which I loved. We have soooo much food for left overs so very worth it! Highly recommend.

I have lived in Congleton for only 6 months and popped in for the first time today with my brother. Had a couple of excellent beers in frosted glasses then two absolutely delicious meals. The staff were friendly, attentive and efficient in what was a busy afternoon. Looking forward to going back many times with the ambition to eventually work my way through the menu!

Large party, 8 adults and 5 children. Staff accommodated us really well. Great food and good service. Highly recommended.

I have been coming to DV8 for many years on a weekly basis and never had a bad meal ever, the quality and presentation of the meals is excellent and never disappoints. I am on a strict training diet this week and can only have certain foods so I asked if they could accommodate and they went out of their way and made me a really tasty omelette with greens. Staff are super friendly and provide a great atmosphere for their customers hence while I will be coming here for many years to come

Nice place and good atmosphere, however, rude waitress when we arrived, a long wait time and inadequate food. The food was tasteless and the avocado was clearly spoilt, yet still served (see photo). We did get a slight discount once we complained- however, it's not something I would expect. Unfortunately, this bad experience will stop me from returning.

Attending the wake of a very good friend, the staff really looked after us, nothing was too much trouble. There was space enough for us all to move mingle and catch up, to sit in the courtyard in the sun or shelter from the occasional shower. A fine place to celebrate Harry's life.

Okay place to go. The ladies wanted cocktails so that's what they had - tad expensive.

Great place, came here for breakfast and lunch. Fantastic portions, delicious food and great atmosphere! Prices were good too, £11 for a full English (photo attached). Also made them aware of my allergy requirements and they were able to easily accommodate that 👍

Great that there is now more space/tables! Having emailed ahead the Manager replied promptly to assure me that our largish party would be accommodated even though they don't take bookings which was good. We visited early Friday evening to celebrate my daughter's birthday and even though it was only 5pm it was already getting busy, however our table of 8 was seated quickly in the upstairs extended part. We had balloons and a cake with us, which was no problem. Sophie welcomed us and was really helpful with everything, sorting out the cake, nothing was too much trouble and we felt really looked after. We all enjoyed the great food and drinks and our service was so friendly and efficient. A really lovely experience after not visiting in quite a while, thank you to all 😊

We went to DV8 Saturday lunch time with our pooch. We were directed to the newer part which was empty at the time. I thought we would be forgotten about and that it would lack atmosphere but it was warm and cozy and the staff looked after us great. We had food and cocktails and all were fab. Love this additional part to DV8

As a regular visitor to DV8 we are always made to feel very welcome. I had the chunky chips with chicken and bacon with BBQ sauce and goats cheese and my partner had the southern fried chicken burger, both were delicious and piping hot The staff are very professional and efficient and the place runs like clockwork, we would highly recommend for both food and drinks

A nice venue, good varied menu. I particularly enjoy going there for breakfast before it gets too busy and a bit too noisy for me. Sometimes the coffee could be hotter

We went in for a quick bite. We had DV8 platter and cheesy garlic bread to share between us and it was good, the staff were attentive and polite. If we go back around Congleton, we will definitely go again. Highly recommended.

I love DV8 and always visit here when seeing family. The building inside is beautiful with old beams and a really cosy atmosphere. My fave to eat is the DV8 chunky chips, with chicken, bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce. Heaven in a bowl! It can get busy but it’s well worth the wait and I’m already looking forward to going back.

Food is brilliant here every time we come, however service could do with being more consistent though. Last few times we have been we have been seated down by staff who say someone will be with you shortly. Only to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to come back and take our drinks order. In the meantime, others are being seated on other tables after us who end up getting served before us. On our last visit the table to our side arrived 10 minutes after us but ended up finishing their meal and leaving before our food even arrived? We keep returning hoping for a better experience as the food is just so good though.

Went to listen to a theatre group and sing some songs. Beautiful inside and really good service. We had cocktails, mine been non alcoholic, which were fantastic!

Great vibe at this restaurant. Brilliant just for drinks too. Cocktails looked amazing. Staff were really good too.

The loaded fries are incredible I keep going back for them, really nice cocktails pretty much tried the whole menu now, the zombie is really good!

Called in with my wife without booking on a Wednesday evening and taken to an available table. Service was pleasant and efficient, food was good, no complaints at all.

The food and service at DV8 never disappoint. It is my granddaughters favourite restaurant in Congleton. We always recommend it to people. It's so popular that sometimes best to go off peak to be certain of a table. Love the place!

Such a great place, I went today for the first time with my partner and from the moment we walked in, we felt warmly welcomed 🥰 The place has managed to unusually design an atmosphere that is cosy, yet classy. Where the staff are so professional, yet so friendly. As it was our first time, I’m not sure if it is a regular thing, but there was also an amazingly talented acoustic guitarist, playing flowing, relaxing songs. The staff are passionate about dishing out amazing food, and amazing service! If you want to be feel relaxed, calm and fulfilled, this is the place to go to 😊 I can imagine they have a lot of regulars. Thank you 😊🍔🥗🍹🎶🕯️🧡

Nice bar with great food - portions are great for the money. Great options of cocktails, mocktails etc. Chip bowls are great with enormous portions (they do do a smaller size also) with great toppings. Recommend a trip for sure!

DV8 is currently the premier hangout in Congleton. Good food, mid-tier prices and a lovely atmosphere. They have a wide selection and decent portion sizes, A selection of craft beers, A beautiful outdoor area. The upper floor is very traditional in decor and um... height, so if you're tall you may want to duck. If you fancy a break from, or are too fancy for Wetherspoons. Give them a shot!

4 stars cause the food is good but could be better. Love the yard sitting and atmosphere. Dogs allowed. Very friendly place

The food was really good. However, the cocktails are made with cheaper spirit brands which do not taste the best.

Went with my 2 daughters. Nice & cosy but I remember it from many years ago when it was Littles. Staff friendly & efficient. We all had cocktails which were reasonably priced. We'll be back!👍

I've never been overly impressed with either of the dv8's I've been to. The food is average at best and the beer range is very limited. It's pretty pricey for what you get. On the plus though, the service from the staff has always been excellent.

4 of us including 3 year old. I had gammon eggs chips. Sounds standard boring but it was great. Best gammon chips had for a long time. Think nice thick gammon, 2 eggs, nice mushroom and tomato, pineapple was like a big chip. Good chips. Other two had wraps that were good but not as good as mine. Took me twice as long to eat. Maybe not a big choice for kids. Can be finicky. Grandson had hummus which was plentiful. Interesting selection of ales. I had an ipa which grew on me after 2 Service was slow due to a big party in. Staff were nice and helpful. An interesting place. Will go again. Price reasonable vs. all prices going up everywhere.

Impromptu meal out in an unfamiliar town. Very busy, staff were friendly and very attentive. Food was very good; We had light bite/snack which was plenty. Lovely chunky chips and the salad was just right (room temperature not fridge cold). Chicken wrap had loads of chicken in it.

Always have a pleasant time in DV8. The atmosphere is nice but always very busy so can struggle to find space to enjoy a drink! The drinks are nice, some are very sweet of you don't have a sweet tooth just to be warned! The food is nice and the service is good on the whole. A bit expensive for what it is which is the only downside, but fairly average for the town.

Actual food was good when we received it. Numerous errors in the orders and a 1.5 hour wait for food. Usually pretty laid back and when we raised the issues they were rectified however when the waitress started questioning our concerns and stating our wait time wasn’t true and if we had informed them we would have discounted ( she said this after we paid the bill) very defensive and really poor customer service. Will not be returning!

I LOVE coming here; from it's cosy and inviting atmosphere, excellently presented, delicious range of food and quirky seating arrangements to it's revolutionary and fun cocktail choices and meticulous customer focused service, you're guaranteed to have a great time.

We were staying in Congleton between Christmas and New Year and was looking for somewhere to have lunch and a drink with our 2 daughters and 2 dogs. We asked if we could come in with the dogs and were shown to the dog friendly area which was so lovely. Really cosy and comfortable. The atmosphere at this place is really warm and welcoming and the food was amazing!!! I had the beef sandwich which was one of the best sandwiches I'd ever eaten. My husband had the chilli nachos and they were equally as good. Really generous portions too for the price! The girls wanted sides and cheesy chips which they ate every bit of! The service was brilliant and everyone including the other customers were very friendly and chatty. Gutted we don't live closer as I would definitely be a regular customer!

We went last night to the Christmas special which are being held in the small enclosed area on Monday and Tuesdays evenings. Have to say it was amazing, food was great and plenty of and Lucy who looked after us was such a lovely helpful girl.
