Subway in Cheshire East

came at 5pm on a sunday and it was closed. says it shuts at 6pm on sundays? thanks pal

Didn’t have my sandwich but couldn’t even give me a refund?! Gave my wife the wrong cookie and totally missed mine. How was it this wrong?

Really poor. 2 staff out side smoking as you walk in and just 1 lad trying to manage a Que of 8. No though what so ever

Service was nice enough and I felt very sorry for them because they had basically run out of a lot of food. Only two options of bread were available, no bacon, there was one miserable looking cookie left. They didn’t have water either and the whole place looked like it needed a good clean. We ended up buying drinks and sweets at the Shell next door. Very disappointing.

Rude member of staff gave me bad cookies and they broke asked for replacement she refused and refused a refund avoid.

We ordered via the app to collect instore. The young server behind the counter was by herself. She apologised for our wait ( which is understandable considering she is working alone on a busy Saturday ) Food was great and service was too.

Ordered delivery online, when it arrived the order was wrong and there were items missing. Ended up getting half the order refunded.

Service was fast. Meatballs were very hot and the cookies were fresh.

Never been so disappointed by a subway before. Visited at Wednesday lunchtime. There were 4 people in front of me in the queue, I thought not bad usually only takes 10 minutes or so to get through that many. I ended up having to wait 40 minutes until I got served. I counted 5 customers that gave up and left presumably because they would have been late for work. The 2 staff there were extremely slow, asking what people wanted on their subs over and over even though they had been told 10 seconds earlier. I am not sure if it’s the staff being slow or being understaffed this lunchtime but there needs to be something done as it was not on at all. To top that off, when requesting the salads I wanted on my sub, the girl put on a tiny amount of lettuce. When asking for more, she said that tub of lettuce needs to last them until their next delivery. I can understand that it isn’t the staffs fault here but as I paying customer I should get the usual amount of salad. The owner/manager needs to make some improvements at this store. More consistent deliveries of stock, better trained/more staff. Won’t bother coming back here for a few months at least, whilst they hopefully get their act together.

Shocking service! Went in for lunch as most subway offer gluten free. Being both gluten and dairy free it’s normally a good option. Really felt like I was an inconvenience when I asked for gluten free bread. Was told the majority of things I had asked for they “didn’t have”. When I also asked for gluten free bread I was asked “do you want me to wipe down” other subways this has just been done. Really felt like an inconvenience going here.

Possibly the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Served by a young girl with the longest false nails and lashes I've ever seen, extremely rude, didn't crack a smile once, one word answers, no pleasantries. Clearly hates her job. Son wanted a wrap, was told abruptly 'haven't got any' then gave me the wrong bread. Hardly any drinks in the fridge either. Will go to our usual one at Lostock in future.

Rude!!! The girl obviously was so annoyed I had the audacity to walk in 3pm on a Friday afternoon. I got no greeting just “we haven’t got much” A smile costs nothing either. I felt like a total inconvenience and annoyance. Eye raises when I asked questions too. Unbelievable, I will avoid in future. Only good thing was my son loved his sandwich hence the 2 stars.

Not happy went in your subway for breakfast 10.56 at middlewich to find already been took off menu was waiting 5 minutes as other person outside having a cig was back at my truck 11.01 think you should be sorting staff and Times out was in before 11 so just cos 2 in front didn’t get served look on cctv for footage

Great sandwiches, can get very busy at times and often appears to be understaffed.

Wet bread and soggy lettuce. Tasted like dog leg. Would recommend.

Disappointing. Been here twice in the last week as it has been along a previous journey, me and my friend have both had wraps which are small and under filled compared to other subway stores.Click and collected from the store today to find the same story, small under filled wraps, dispensed drinks were only half filled when ordered without ice, and one of the cookies we received was missing a good chunk of it also.Also I’m unsure if this is common practice, but for their click and collect orders, the food it just left by the door rather than when asked for for the customer to collect? This means the food is mostly cold by the time you collect and also out of sight of the servers, so it could be tampered with or taken without their knowledge?Overall a poor experience and would NOT recommend going to this store. Wait along your journey to find another or go to another nearby store. Disgraceful.

Ordered on the app, both wraps had little filling, the drinks came half full, and one of the cookies we received had half missing.

Limited stock due to Brexit apparently, teriyaki chicken was boiled chicken then covered in teriyaki sauce so not marinated - not great Italian BMT turned into a pepperoni sandwich due to lack of ingredients Not all breads in stock either

I have been to this Subway a few times, however every time I go I am always disappointed about how unhelpful and oftentimes rude the staff are. There's never a full selection of sandwiches available - last time we went there was no white bread at all?! I enjoy a subway but always come out of the Middlewich branch saying I won't go back to it! I had raised an official complaint before now about the lack of choices however nothing had changed!

Use this Subway a lot at lunch time for salads, which I love, can be a bit hit or miss occasionally, they've run out of salad bowls once & lettuce another time. Generally the staff are really nice & 1 lady is really friendly & welcoming.As for the meatless balls, I thought they were a bit dry. I'm a real fan of the Quorn, Swedish style meatballs and these are not a patch on them unfortunately.

Customer service is important as well as food and even though the food was as nice as every other Subway, the service wasn't great! In my opinion, all three members of staff at this restaurant where very rude and inconsiderate towards the fact that they have a job. All three members of staff where more interested in applying for new jobs and talking about what their plans where after university. One star for the food but the service, attention, manners and, respect to towards their employer was none existent.

I wasn't happy with the poor quality of service I received. The toaster and hot drinks machine was out of order, so I ordered a wrap, then the member of staff walked off without saying anything and left me languishing whilst the person in the queue was being served by her colleague. The next thing I know, she was walking out the building on her mobile phone. When I was eventually served by the other member of staff, she informed me that they had no wraps so I had been waiting around 10 minutes for nothing! I gave some feedback about this on the company website but they didn't even dignify me with a response. Not impressed. along with the fact I have found what appears to be pubic hair in the sandwiches on numerous occasions

The guy who served us was way to chatty my wife and I were having a private conversation, and he kept interrupting with inane imput

Slow service, went from serving me to serving the person behind me making me wait even though I was at the till... What should have been a 2min service took 10mins even though I had no-one in front of me. Food itself was average, no real care taken when making it so it fell into 4 pieces when I unwrapped it. BBQ sauce is really acidic so doesn't taste nice to me. Won't be returning, I'd rather venture further out of my way to somewhere that has better customer service and sandwich making skills.

Misleading advertising. Add a drink for 60p the poster does not stipulate it excludes subs bought with sub card points balance, yet I was refused the offer? Is that to stop freeloading? How do you think I got the points? Also drinks from a soda fountain cost pence, you would still be in profit.

This subway branch is a bit variable. Can be good but frequent staff changes seem to affect waiting times and quality so can't give it five stars.

Not the fastest of service but food is lovely and staff friendly.

Bloody great service. Fast and friendly, lovely pair of ladys working there this evening. Subway is slightly hidden though as we went into starbucks first thinking it was a shared premesis. Turned out it's round the side.

amazing food really fab, staff that were on Xmas eve last shift went that extra mile and were very chatty excellent representation for subway I'll use this every time I go to see my auntie at northwhich...shame not all like this place

Really poor service. They hardly ever have certain fillings or bread and it’s just all badly managed. Much better Subway franchises elsewhere in the area.

Just called in for meal... 6" italien BMT.. Latte and 3 cookies. The guy that served me was just about as miserable as possible. Never cracked a smile, no manners... used as few words as humanly possible. Felt like he would rather I was not there. Doesn't deserve a customer facing job. Poor show Subway. 😕9

Possibly a new member of staff but the breakfast sub was cold when served despite having been placed in the oven, maybe there'd been a power cut despite the lights being on. A typical Subway albeit a lot smaller than most.
