Hot chocolates cold (nice but cold), coffee bitter and no milk offered. Server seemed offended and we gave up as she seemed sick of her life.

Called in for a drink and to be honest was quite shocked to get charged £6.20 for a pint of pale ale and for the privilege of sitting on a bench in the open air. It was ok and a nice view but expensive.

Really enjoyed my Thursday afternoon visit with a friend. Nice variety of music playing, at a decent level. Staff were very friendly, even brought a water bowl for the dog and gave him lots of attention too. Ordered food and it didn't take long to arrive, very tasty, good quality ingredients, lovely crispy chips. I will happily go back

We thought this place was pretty cool, but couldn't work out why it was so dead. Reading the other reviews might explain that. I must say, our experience was different, the staff were friendly and the service was okay. Loved having somewhere outdoor but sheltered to drink and the little fires made it.

Friendly staff, great setting, loved the background music. The only downside was the plastic drinking vessels. It would be better with glasses but I'll be still be calling in the next time I'm in Newcastle.

Walking down the Quay we came across this outside space, decked out like a garden quirky nature of the place lured us in. Beers all good, service prompt and we sat down at a picnic bench and chilled our. We'll worth a stop although the beers were all heading in the £6 direction...location, location, location...

Visited here whilst staying on the quayside. We visited here on a Wednesday and it was nicely spaced out and relaxed. The truffle fries were a little expensive but delicious none the less. Would definitely visit again.

After arriving in Newcastle on Sunday I was looking for somewhere to watch the football so after Googling bars with football I contacted Urban Garden through Facebook messenger and got confirmation that they were showing the football, after arriving at the venue no screens at all and when I went over to talk to staff they confirmed they had no license to show football, after confirming it was them that sent me the message confirming they would be showing the football they all just found it to be funny and amusing. Very poor customer service indeed and I would never visit again.

We ordered drinks and food. Got told after half hour they had a problem with the gas bottle. Another half hour passed by which time we were absolutely starving!!! Got told it could be another half hour! We asked if we could cancel and get refund - including our drinks. After much ado, asking her boss, the waitress reluctantly agreed! Very unattentive waitress, who seemed she couldn't be bothered! I know they were getting a new gas bottle changed - but taking over an hour at peak busy Friday lunchtime is unacceptable - a new bottle should have been in place ready to go! And we should have been taken better care of - an proper apology and offer of a free drink! Just terrible - 90 minutes of my life I can't get back!! 😞

Went here for drinks before a meal somewhere else. The weather was beautiful and so we sat at a picnic bench and had our drinks. Really nice and relaxing place to watch the world go past.

Urban Garden by BrewDog is a really good beergarden on the Quayside and is a very good place to relax and unwind with a few drinks. A fantastic beergarden with artificial grass and rustic features and bench seating and many more interesting items. We visited here fairly early in the afternoon and it was busy mostly with familie's having a good time and enjoying the fine weather and views of the bridges When we went here we had a few BrewDog brewery Punk IPA a superb craft beer that was perfectly served and priced. This is a superb beergarden and very easy to find from Quayside Law Courts bus stop its a minute away.(This is my first review of Urban Garden by BrewDog). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-Don't Know. Nearest Bus Stop. Quayside Law Courts bus stop.

My twin brother Stephen and I were walking along the Quayside in Newcastle Upon Tyne heading to The Head Of Steam Pub when we chanced upon Urban Garden by Brewdog, an absolutely fantastic open air bar serving in my opinion some of the tastiest and most innovative beers in the United Kingdom from the Brewdog Brewery. The venue itself is superb, great bench seating, a cool looking serving shack, eclectic decor and furnishings and a wonderful location by the River Tyne with the stunning Tyne Bridge as a stunning backdrop. We were here on a Thursday evening, bar was just starting to fill up with a great atmosphere, we ordered at the bar Brewdog Brewery pale ale, served in excellent condition, we found a great located table and just chilled out on a hot, balmy evening enjoying our beers. My pale ale was absolutely superb, a crisp, well balanced pale ale, hints of toffee and a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a slight bitter finish, a totally refreshing brew, it was just so good being in such a cool bar enjoying a quality brew,I'm a big fan of the beers brewed by Brewdog and their pale ale is a particular favourite of mine, a classic British pale ale. We both really enjoyed our pale ale's in here and our visit here, its a bar I highly recommend you visit if you're in the area or if you're planning a trip to Newcastle Upon Tyne. Easy to locate along Quayside. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, Midday till 11pm. Most definitely a must go beer destination if you enjoy quality beers.

As this is in the airside terminal at Newcastle Airport. Service was quick, but unfortunately they still use disposable cups. I would much prefer non disposable, but I guess its a bit hypocritical to claim the climate while waiting to board a plane. Coffee is fine, prices, given the location, is fine too.

Great food, but not great service. At times, you have to wait 5-10-15 mins before someone comes out of the back to serve you, which is, clearly, not good service. That aside, the food is ALWAYS great, but I have limited time for my dinner break and waiting to be served means I often walk out to go elsewhere. Sort this and it’s amazing.

Lovely venue for a work night out, staff are incredibly welcoming and approachable too. Karaoke was also a hoot and much cheaper than Cosy Joe's down the road - thank you all for the brilliant evening.

The festive lunch is now £10 50p that's ok, but children's festive lunch is now £6 95p adults meal has been increased by £l 00p child's meal has in creased by £2 20p meaning adults meal is roughly 10 per cent more but child's meal is about 45 per cent more what do Fenwick's have against people with children and the elderly who often buy a child's meal reason cost or small appetite I am DISGUSTED
