Uptown Burger in City of London, Westminster

Had to call the shop 6 times to find out how long our delivery would take as it had already gone way past the estimated delivery time. We kept getting told "it's on its way". Ended up having to drive to them as they were ignoring our calls and the food was already 30mins late. By the time we eventually received our food, it was cold, soggy and flavourless. It's very overpriced for what you get. Two regular portions of sweet potato fries cost £10!!! And they were very average, had plenty better. Cost us £44 for two of us which is far too much considering how bad the service is, poor food quality and shocking delivery time. Would never order again.

I am officially addicted to their Mexican burger - so yummy!

Totally and utterly disappointed and I will NEVER order from here again. The burger bun was solid rock burnt!! the beef patty had bits of bone and hard bits that has chipped my tooth (I will be pursuing that further!) The wings were undercooked with soggy skin. The chicken patty was just utterly awful foulness, I honestly don't think I have ever tasted anything worst than it! This restaurant can't make food, save your money and your teeth.

Just moved to the area with my bf and stumbled across Uptown Burger! What a great find! Cheap and yummy, with really sweet and friendly people working there. Burgers were good: buns soft and meat was cooked just right! Corn on the cob side was perfect! So were our cheeky milkshakes for desert (I recommend the Ferrero flavour!) Thanks guys! Will come back again soon!

Was 10minutes late, food wasn't hot just warm, wrong postcode on the bag so could of been the issue? Onion rings taste over cooked as well as chips, think the fryer oil needs changing, burger was good

I usually eat at Shake Shack, GBK, and Byron. This restaurant is 10x better than them. The delivery time was only 40min, which is much better than any restaurant i usually order from. The burger was the best that i ever had, juicy, and cooked to my taste. The quality of ingredients is amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone after high quality burgers. The delivery driver was polite and very friendly. Good job to everyone at Uptown Burger, absolutely amazing job. You have earned yourself another loyal customer.

Order was 45 minutes late and rang the restaurant after 15/20 minutes late and was told they were busy and lots of traffic then the food was delivered strobe cold - not happy with this service as it's not the first time they have delivered late!

Went there last night with my partner The place is quite retro but the main focus for me was the food I had the mississippi burger with muddy chips, the burger patty was nice and juicy and they cook it to how you like it The texan chops is truly unique experience it's a explosion of flavours Oh and it's under new management Great place

this must b the best resturant on my just eat list. the burgers were delicious full of flavour and the frank wings omg. to top it all off they were on time they said 20:45 and they were at my door 20:44 i will most definitely be ordering from this resturant again. best food best service. thanks..

Very tasty. The burgers and buns were good quality. The fries were ok but not special. The chocolate cake tasted very fresh. All on all a good menu and we enjoyed our selection. We'll use them again.

The four of us visited this place ordered 4 different burgers, 3 sides, 1 nachos, a milkshake and a pint of cream soda. Loved it all! Burgers are juicy and very filling my Hawaiian burger was incredibly tasty. Bill came to approx 36 pounds very reasonable indeed. It's a small place but cute decor and very clean toilet too. Service was prompt and very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Really bad service took over 1.20hours to come! The food came and it was cold! Tried to call the shop to tell them but no answer and they are literally down the road. Don't order from here

Burger was banging. the franks hot wings didn't have any hot sauce and was smallest wings ever, the chips were nice but cold, and the cheesecake good. Delivery took an hour hence the cold chips. The burger was good enough to order again.

The music was a bit loud and they could have turned the heating on ... But the food was really great and could not have been faulted!

I love the American styled diner theme, the food is served on time everytime I go, the food is delicious, the presentation of the food is good too. I come here often and I recommend it to my friends and family it's cheap and delicious. Also the staff are polite.

Realmente muy pobre. No pude averiguar por qué estaba vacía en una noche de viernes en primer lugar. hamburguesa era sólida, Burger duro y hecha. No bajo ninguna circunstancia tienen la ensalada de 'chorizo ya que es es halal y se chorizo! asquerosa. ¿Por qué no sólo tienen una ensalada normal. Qué pena que parecía muy prometedor. La gente parecía agradable, pero no saben lo que están haciendo.

This is a halal meat burger bar masquerading as an authentic burger bar from the USA. Read the tiny small print and their 'ham and bacon' is made out of Turkey! Place looks dirty inside,mwaited for ages to be acknowledged and order taken. Burger was dry and inedible. Left and went up to McDonalds instead.

My husband loves his burgers and was quite keen to try this place out. The food was very nice and filling (the burgers are huge!!) The quality is to a good standard and all of the food was very fresh I particularly loved the cream soda, I would definitely recommend it!!

Was collection only and it was ready more or less on time. The burger was however not worth the £8 I paid, the bun looked cheap and the salad was not fresh.

So glad this place is near us, dined in last night and we weren't disappointed. Classic burger was decent sized, juicy and full of flavour. You can add a patty if you want a larger meal. Chips were crunchy. Another regular spot to add to the list.

bun was very stale, i think the burger was made a while before the collection time as it was slightly dry and cold. not enough of the toppings, but it still tasted good. chorizo salad was nice. freez drink isn't 1.5l like it says on the menu

I visited this place when it first opened last year with a friend and although there were teething problems at the time I could see it's potential. My friend and I spent a couple hours and really enjoyed our meal. I visited again this weekend after a long day at work. I ordered by phone in advance then picked up my order 15 minutes later.I would describe the decor and the style of the restaurant as being like an American diner with a range of burgers (chicken and beef) with various toppings, sauces and combinations. My particular favourite is the Mississippi Burger with the Jerk sauce which I recently had with chunky fries and coleslaw. The portions are substantial and I would say that the taste and value for money are far better than say places like GBK or giraffe. They do not serve alcohol but that's not a problem as they have a good range of non-alcoholic drinks/sodas. This place is a great alternative to the cheap chicken shops on the high road and I hope that they become a permanent fixture.

Am a regular eat-in user trying their online order service for the first time, would recommend it to others if in a rush but would recommended sitting in and eating :)

Good to see this place open in Leyton. Very good burgers and chips indeed and generous portions. Staff v friendly and fairly priced. Deserves to go from strength to strength. Only suggestions I would have air for them to start doing deliveries, and to sell alcohol and pork products. Will def visit again.
