Little Frankie's in City of London, Westminster

We found this hidden gem during our first visit to London. I recall we satisfied a craving for a family place to have lunch. Despite we were in Trafalgar Square, which was particularly in the city centre, this restaurant was like a hole in the wall. They serve quite big portions, and I will not lie if I say that you can’t go wrong with anything you choose on their menu. There was really vibrant atmosphere, moreover, its owner hosted us on that day. We didn’t feel rushed or uncomfortable and combined with top-notch service, I would say that this Italian restaurant was out of this planet. When we make our next trip to London, we will definitely make a repeat visit. Hope, it will open soon.

The strong point of this restaurant is the location, however there is nothing else attractive... firstly, the food served is not of good quality, I took pasta with tomato sauce, it had a canned taste and was overcooked... Additionally, the displayed prices and actual prices do not match.

First time here. It's changed its name to Little Italy (Sicilly)! Overpriced and 12.5% extra for services, unprofessional staff! Food wasn't tasty as well! Not recommend it at all!

This place is not worth a 1 star. We had just arrived in London for work and went there for breakfast. We had a thought it used to be a frankie and bennys, but posing as something sicilly, from a distance I thought it said something sickly that's what I felt when we left. I wish I had gone to the toilet before I ordered as I would have walked out. The ceiling in one cubicle had caved in the hygiene as absolutely revolting. Needed a good industrial clean throughout. The breakfast was disgusting 3 English breakfast, the plate was covered in grease the bacon wasn't even cooked, the sausage was awful and the toast was just warmed bread and the whole plate was barely warm. As they could see from our plates we weren't happy ,we complained got the bill but the manager just stood there listened and still demanded we pay for the breakfast we had. We left and all of us felt extremely sick. An awful experience and they say breakfast is the most important part of the day.

no words, poor service, dirty, expensive

This place was open as of 12 Aug 2022. Not sure if still using Little Frankie moniker, but the pics online are the place. Went there in June 2022, and this past weekend, only because everything else is reserve in advance. First visit, mediocre and over-priced. Most prominent is the service...bad. June took a while to get our food. Last week, we waited 15 min and no one came to the table. Not even to ask for a drink. The lady working in the bar, and I think the waitress too, did not even make a motion to the table. The man who seated us, I told him we were ready to order, promised someone would serve us, and they didn't. We were the only customers inside, and 2 tables occupied outside. Walked out after that. I recommend the Angus Steak joint just up the street. They were the best service, really the only service too, during our week in London.

20th Jul and it was open... The prices are great for the area and the food was OK but let down by hygiene of the tables & chairs and the state of the toilets.... enough to put anyone off their dinner 😪😪

Over priced, pasta was not the best veryaverage got a cheese pizza for garlic bread which was ok. The service was very good and the staff was very polite and proffesional. 5 stars to the staff.

Poor food, poor service and unclean toilets

Just visited here and can't believe their attitude. So we are post lockdown and trying to support the retail industry. Enter the empty restaurant and told to sit at a certain table - ask to be seated elsewhere and given the whatever look. Service was terrible and the food poor - then they had the appalling decision to automatically add 12.5% to the bill Food: Poor - Service: Appauling - Attitude: Terrible Avoid at all costs !!!! - and know that GF is an extra £2.50 on pizzas !!!!

Not a Frankies any longer although still looks similar from outside. Poor experience so won’t be back

On behalf of my friend. Me and my husband had just arrived from Korea and decided to stop for Lunch hear. We had a small lunch totaling £19.50 and despite being sub par the manager coerced us into leaving a £10 tip. Not wanting to offend we did as requested and left. Only after being in a UK a while and having spoke with English friends we realise we would have not received the same treatment if we were white. Avoid.

Great service from Jumman. Shown to table and served very quickly. He was there quickly whenever I needed anything. Will return because of Jumman.

Very Italian, not the normal Frankie and Benny's. This place has genuine Italian character, maybe because it 100%run by Italian's. There was 8 people in our group and each person was delighted with their meal and the service. Very attentive staff and reasonable prices means we will be back.

The service was very friendly, Mervat took the orders and was very helpful as we are foreigners. We are very grateful for it (and sorry for the loud voices my family have) and sure we ll come back again.

Fantastic service from Jumman. Went with my husband and my 2 children who are extremely fussy eaters and they could not have been anymore accommodating. Throughly enjoyed relaxing and eating here, thank you again Jumman.

Comida casera de buena calidad, la pasta muy buena y las pizzas bien, los camareros simpáticos y aunque no hablaban español hacían lo posible por atenderte. El local no es muy grande pero se está cómodo. No es barato pero la calidad precio y cantidad no nos pareció mal. Los postres caseros y Buenos, pueden pedirse batidos helados.

Excelente lugar la comida y la atención!! Recomendable!

Good food, good service and reasonable price. Violent situation when paying, one of the waiters really insisted on giving them a 5 star review, even picking my phone from my hands in order to publish it. Also, they pressured us into tipping (understandeable but still invasive). Because of this, we left the restaurant with bad sensation and would not consider coming back again.

We had a breakfast here - and it was a great choice. They have some traditional English dishes in the menu, omelettes, eggs etc. Really good value for £.

Servicio lento y desagradable. No había la mitad de las cosas de la carta. No había casi nadie y aún así tardaron más de media hora en atendernos. Intentamos llamar la atención del camarero en varias ocasiones pero nos ignoró. Cuando vino a atendernos se sentó con nosotros como si estuviera en su casa. Muy desagradable 🙄 La comida más o menos decente. No volveremos.

Great little, if cramped, restaurant right in the middle of Central London, by Trafalgar Square. Food is a little expensive but good nonetheless. Staff are friendly and attentive and food comes out quickly. Their coffee is also surprisingly good! Definitely a decent place to stop if you're tired from walking around Central all day.

Mauvaise expérience due à une attitude désagréable de certaines serveuses...(demande relancée pour avoir un coca et un café qui a été magnifiquement ignorée par la serveuse !). De plus, la mise en assiette laissait à désirer et mon plat pourtant simple à faire (pâtes avec des champignons) se revèla tout bonnement inmangeable...

Pas bon. La présentation du plat m’a fait penser au tas de purée que l’on me servait à la cantine du collège. Très déçue.

Concernant ce restaurant, un mot me vient à l’esprit : Dégoût. Par où commencer ? Par ces quatre plats de pâtes commandés par mes amies et moi même tous plus infâmes les uns des autres ? Ces serveuses hautaines et désagréables qui n’ont fait que nous dévisager tout au long du repas ? Ce vacarme qui régnait dans la salle ? Ou encore le manque d’hygiène des sanitaires au sous sol ainsi qu’à l’odeur nauséabonde qui planait dans les escaliers ? Le seul point positif fut le serveur qui était sympathique et qui essayait tant bien que mal de sauver ce bateau à la dérive mais malgré ses efforts le bateau a bien finit par couler ce vendredi midi pour mes amies et moi même ! What a shame ! À jamais

Décevant. J’ai été face à des serveuses désagréables : dévisageaient mes amies et moi mais aussi manquaient de disponibilité vis à vis du client. J’ai commandé des pattes à la carbonara et le plat que l’on m’a servit présenté des pattes trop cuites avec très peu de lardons et ainsi q’une sauce trop épaisse.

We stopped in for a light lunch ordering an appetizer and a bottle of wine; the service and food were great! We ended up ordering carbonara and hanging out a bit. Everything hit the spot! We highly recommend Little Frankie's.
