2 de nosotros fuimos a cenar en una noche jueves aquí - el lugar estaba lleno, pero los miembros del equipo encontraron una mesa dentro de un par de minutos. Todo el personal era educado y listo con una sonrisa y la comida llegó muy rápido, caliente, bien presentada y, lo más importante, muy sabroso, de hecho no recuerdo la última vez que tuve una hamburguesa este bien. La única pena es que no tienen espacio para un postre. Se movieran del sitio muy pronto (creo que es a mediados de abril de 2018) y sin duda busque sus nuevas instalaciones

Located within view of Covent Garden with a mainly Chicken based menu really inventive food cooked well and nicely presented by their friendly staff. Great decor and atmosphere. Very clean.

Booked this for our wedding anniversary as we were up in London for the night. Food was amazing!

Great tasting burgers and sides but perhaps a little steep price-wise, considering all things are deep froed. Cool location and decent atmosphere inside and average service. Food came out very quickly. Can recommend the BBQ burger (‘bun’). Got to order sides separately, which aren’t cheap.

Went on a Saturday night the service was good but the food was dry I went for the short rib and the meat was super dry had to be smothered in extra sauce to be eaten The Wings weren’t hot in temperatures when then quickly arrived at the table over all I was Underwhelmed I won’t be going back to joes it’s a shame as I have been there before a few years ago and they did an excellent beer can chicken that sadly isn’t available on the menu anymore

Great location right bang in Covent Garden. Mediocre food but good service - they corrected the wrong order , no charge and the right order came in reasonable time without fuss. Sadly the food was below average and my much anticipated Freak Shake was not special at all but was fine.

Delicious chicken, great atmosphere and and outstanding customer service. Highly recommended and can't wait to return.

Wasn’t particularly happy with the services as it was very slow and the waiters / waitresses didn’t really seem to understand what I wanted and ended up having to pay more than what I wanted too due to poor lack of communication

Great food, very reasonably priced, good drink selection and overall a very good experience. We both had burgers which were excellent. Starters also very good. very highly recommended

The food was nice and good value for money but very dark inside. We were seated straight away but it took them over 15 minutes to come and take any orders. Our waitress was really moody and just looked like she did not want to be there. The bartender also took a long time to bring our drink over so we had to wait around.

Was a lovely casual dinning venue for an early dinner. Food was excellent, good value in a central location

As a US southern we enjoyed this restaurant. Food was fresh and served promptly. Arrived and hour before our reservation and were seated immediately. Our group had Black eyed pea cakes, a burger (delicious) wings and steak fajitas. A little expensive but that is London in general. Would go again.

We had the Mac and Cheese, buffalo wings, chicken sandwich and a smoked sausage. The food was good but service was non existent and lacking. Long waits for drinks, starters and mains. The waiter was nice but frazzled and we sighted him on the rarest of occasions. What we will certainly return for is dessert. Had the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and chocolate sauce. It was delicious and very well done.

Food at Joe's is great. I was slightly disappointed by service and found this to be unusual. Overall, worth visiting before they close their doors.

Decent food although overpriced. I highly doubt that staff have some knowledge about what they should represent. Disappointed as they took some time to get us served but they couldn't wait for us to leave. What about customer service skills?

Good food from a US Southerner!

Wife and I visited here Saturday evening. Street parking is available nearby but times restricted. We didn’t have a reservation...

The service was very slow. After ordering it took about 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive and the food took longer even longer. Even when prompted staff were slow to provide a bill. Poor customer service and unfriendly staff. One positive is the manager apologised when a complaint was made when we were leaving.

A friend was visiting from overseas and having eaten here before, recommended the 3 of us go. Seated on time and the food was brought out quickly. Everyone left saying how great everything tasted as well so overall an excellent dinner choice. Thanks!

Really good food and a lovely time! The wings are super tasty and is just the right amount when shared. Loads of options too! Will definitely go again. Only problem was when my boyfriend went to the toilet I thought he had fallen down the loo but it turns out he was waiting ages to go. For such a large place just need more working cubicles :)

Food is always good. Drinks perfect. I have never had a bad experience and recommend this place all the time. I am from America and understand Southern food. This is a pretty good rendition of Southern cuisine. Corn bread is a bit unusual but very tasty. Love the chicken with hot sauce and honey. Make sure you are very hungry when you go because you will be fed well. Yum.

Popped in for lunch and a beer. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly - they really did look after our every need - outstanding service. The restaurant is rustic with a good range of drinks behind the bar.

Looking for a birthday dinner with 3 teenagers we were happy to stumble across this place. Nice welcome and great menu choices for a family. We all opted for buns and shared sides - super Mac and cheese and would recommend the fried potatoes. Decent wine, didn’t try pudding as happily full. Nice service too.

Came across this restaurant by chance. It was a real good find! We were shown to a table without a problem, ordering was swift. There was a good choice on the menu.

Omg to find this place was awesome. Got a table without a reservation which was good. Staff super friendly. This atmosphere was authentic and the food was great. Haven’t had gluten free southern fried chicken in 10 years. Thoroughly enjoyed it and the allergen menu was super clear. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to come back

Excellent experience. If you are in Covent Garden definitely try it out. Great food and great service. The 1/2 chicken is definitely enough for two to share. The spinach dip starter is fantastic.

Came here today for late lunch with my family, having never been before, and left full and very happy! Possibly the BEST jalapeño poppers and spin dip EVERRRR! I adore chicken wings and these did not disappoint, with extra Louisiana sauce on the table, a massive plus for me. Service was good and unobtrusive, would so come back if we lived in London! Please come to Manchester!

Service was good. Sunday cocktails offer was great!! I liked all the sides etc better than my honey glazed fried chicken. Loved the fried pickle, jalapeño poppers, sweet potato fries and mac and cheese! Lychee cocktail was to die for!

Came with my boyfriend before going to see the lion king! Got straight in, didn’t need to wait! Good choice of cocktails and food! Food was delicious! I would go back here!

We were 10 mins late due to tube line closure. Our table was given away even though I had emailed the restaurant to request a nice table as it was a Birthday celebration. The table we ended up on was right by the bar area, the food was mediocre and the service charge should be discretionary not mandatory. Would not bother again. One course and a couple of drinks £111.00!

Great food and fun atmosphere. Flagging down a waiter to get service was a pain though. I highly recommend the place and coming from the US, it was nice to get a taste of the food from home.

Joe's used to be one my favourite places in Covent Garden for good southern style food. It's gone downhill. This marks the second consecutive time that that the service/food was poor. Of note, the manager on duty took our order. Shortly after the server brought our food, I realised my order was incorrect. I don't like throwing out food so I didn't send it back, but I did tell our server the order was wrong. His response: "Wow, you're right. That's not what you ordered. I'm sorry." When the bill arrived: "Again, I'm really sorry about your food." No offer for a drink or dessert. No offer to take the incorrect meal off the bill. No gesture on the restaurant's part to acknowledge their mistake. I could have sent the food back and had them make me the right meal. Customers shouldn't have to pitch a fit for a restaurant to show they value their business. I considered removing the tip from the bill, but our server did not take our order. It was the manager. He didn't make the mistake. But we will not eat at Joe's again.

Been to Joe's a few times and haven't been disappointed by the food. I recommend the 'Frickles'- fried pickles, sounds odd but so good. Cocktails are also very good! The whole place has a good vibe.

As an American living in London I long for decent American food. I thought I may have found somewhere for a fix with Joe's, sadly not. Starters Shrimp with black bean stew was VERY Good Beet Salad also VERY Good Brisket chilli BLAND Mains Short rib- Covered in too much sauce- OK Meatloaf- AWFUL, it was some kind of pulled beef wrapped in a thick coating and deep fried. Mash was OK, honey glazed carrots were as sweet as a dessert, gravy also OK Burger- good, fries were extremely salty We didn't have dessert. I thought overall, poor quality and expensive. Interior nice, fun and staff very nice. I won't go back though sadly.

Random choice for an after work meal. Food was excellent. The BBQ sauce and hot sauce condiments complimented the meal. A wide selection of whiskies and other spirits. Staff were courteous and gave my group a complimentary meal and drink as they got our food order wrong. Would visit again...

Food was excellent, probably the most authentic American food I have ever eaten in England. Unfortunately this is spoilt by the indifferent service and long waits trying to get the staff to notice you when you want drinks or even the dessert menu. Speaking of which both deserts we ordered were only average and portions rather small.

Good food - solid American fare, fresh and well-cooked. Extensive menu but probably best if you like chicken. Bar service was patchy (only one barman serving on a Friday evening...) and the downstairs cocktail bar was a mistake (not possible to order (classics) off menu and my margarita came pre-mixed!) but otherwise the restaurant is a good choice for a reasonably priced meal in Covent Garden with a decent atmosphere. Service reasonable.

Joe's is an old favourite of mine. I have always had a very good meal here, on every single visit. I normally have beef rib or the whole chicken. The cocktails are really good as well and they have a great selection of beers, IPA's real ales, etc. I think that it is very reasonably priced given the area and quality of food. The place also has a nice atmosphere. They opened another one in Kentish Town, which wasn't quite as good as this one on the single occasion I visited that one, but it closed down in early 2017.

También recibimos un servicio de mesa cuando se hizo evidente el bar estaba lleno, lo cual fue genial.

We arrived a little early for our reservation but were seated very quickly. We were offered water but it took ages to take our drinks order, however, the food was amazing and we had a great time, would definitely recommend.

Overall very nice. Make sure you go on a very empty stomach. The portions are big. The cornbread is lovely and the mac n cheese is lovely and rich. The southern fried chicken doesn't seem to be as good as I remember (couldn't really taste the lemon pepper). Dessert was great. Couldn't finish it because I was so full. I rolled out of there! The staff are nice but it takes a while to get their attention. Also please Joe's can you start getting Soya milk for the lactose intolerant few? Nice and will definitely go back

Food and service was good as usual, although there was a mix up over what was and what wasn’t included in the 50% off deal.

We hadn't been here for some time, but popped in for a late evening dinner. The atmosphere is friendly and fun, with its Southern USA atmosphere. We had a good rioja at the bar but there was also an extensive cocktail list, which is very popular.

Love it here. Always accommodating, always seated without a booking, food delicious. Chicken wings are delish. Staff friendly and helpful. 100% recommend.

My partner selected Joe’s for my birthday dinner looking for something to remind me of my family’s southern roots. The service was average overall. We were seated promptly which was good. I put down my coat and went to watch my hands and returned. Before I was completely seated a server was asking for our order. First indication they weren’t to attentive. We asked for a few minutes to review the drinks menu and it was quite a while before anyone returned. The drinks on the happy hour menu were good for £5, but I would have been highly disappointed if I paid £9 (regular price) for it as it was quite small. Later through the meal I had to flag down a server to get a refill. It took, again, quite a while for someone to take our food order. The starters of fried pickles and the stuffed jalepenos were great. The mains were acceptable. My partner had hot wings, his response was “I’ve had better”. This was after returning them because the first order was cold. I had the 1/4 chicken with the Honey Tabasco sauce. Again, good, but not great. I did find the chicken to be a bit dry. We ordered sides of macaroni and cheese, which was very good, and the sweet potato casserole the sweet potato casserole should come off the menu. Growing up with the stuff I would have been embarrassed to even serve that at a family meal. Someone really should visit the Southern U.S. and really have a taste of what this should this should taste like. Definitely without the pink marshmallows which produces a food colour infused taste. On a positive note it had a great bar. Visually impressive. I could possibly return for lunch one day but highly doubtful with so many other food options in Covent Garden.

Il y a au moins 5 ans que je n'étais plus allé dans ce restaurant et je dois dire que ma dernière visite m'a laissé sur ma faim (sans jeu de mot). Les plats sont petits (mais bons) et chers. Il faut compter 10 livres pour un simple hot dog et les frites sont en supplément ! Le vin y est bon mais également à des prix surfaits. Je suis globalement déçu.

I met up with my wife and daughter after work and we went to Joe's, it was our first time here and I liked the look of the place as we were shown to our table. A good lively atmosphere and the staff were brilliant and friendly no complaints there. However I ordered a Mojito it came in a tall glass full of crushed ice, unfortunately there wasn't much there apart from crushed ice I got about two mouthfuls through the the two straws and the drink was gone. The food arrived everything was excellent with the exception of my buffalo wings... They were almost cold. I really wanted to give this place top marks.

Very disappointing. Tasted ok, but the food wouldn’t have looked out of place in McDonald’s. Very basic, essentially an expensive fast food restaurant.

I wouldn't eat at this restaurant again. It has poor accoustics, you cannot have a conversation without shouting. The food was the worst that I have eaten out for a long time. I was hungry but couldn't eat the poor quality food given to me.

The teenager we were taking out for the day wanted to eat American - and thus I didn't have high culinary expectations ! But the choice was poor - not really anything much for "starters" and even though my expectations were for average fast food the food was poor - even the chips were below par

Chose this place by chance and what a choice we made. Really cool setting, friendly/helpful staff and the food is AWESOME!! Will definitely be returning and the only difficulty will be deciding what to eat. The choice is incredible.

I booked this restaurant for a friends 50th and my Finance's birthday, there were 13 of us in total, including our children. I paid a £50 deposit. We arrived and found that we had been given a set menu £25 per person, there were two of us who were vegetarian's and the set menu had mac cheese as the only option! We then asked could we just have the normal menu to which they explained that I would have to forfeit my £50 as they had already started cooking?!?! seriously?? How did they know we were going to turn up?!? So as a group we agreed that we'd swallow the £50 and that way everyone could have food of their choice... when the bill came I explained I also had a 25% off voucher, they said no you can't use that as it's for 6 people only, so we said OK split the bill and then we can use it, no that's not possible!!! Our bill was £446.70 we then complained and they called the police.... once the police arrived they finally agreed to waiver the service charge. Not at any given point when I called did they explain that we'd have to have a set menu on the numerous times they had called me to confirm booking, they had however sent me an email confirmation but I'd not read it correctly (human error on my part!) which I'd explained at the time. All in all the waiters and waitresses are great, the manager however is anther matter.. and I shall be taking it further with their head office! My advice to anybody looking for a group booking - don't go!!!!

By the way the wings are huge which makes it look like a small drumstick. Probably not organic chicken. The Nashville hot 1/4 chicken is not hot at all and again, very bland and tasteless. But then again, putting hot sauce on it does the job. The chicken really need some seasoning. A bit of salt and pepper is just what it needs. Probably should take a couple of lessons from Nandos or something. Even McD chicken strips have more taste to it. Nice ambience though. Service was quick. Chilli beef fries and mac & cheese are decent.

This restaurant was fine for a quick mid week dinner but probably not for a weekend dinner. It was not authentic American food. The southern fried chicken and mash lacked seasoning and the wings although tasty, looked like they had been coated with BBQ sauce a second before they came to our table. <br /><br />It’s a shame as the food was presented well and looked appetising. Also cocktails were good.

I booked a table for drinks and nibbles, mainly because one of my friend’s is pregnant so i wanted to ensure we have a table on a busy Friday night. When asked about our reservation, we were told we have to choose between food only which is upstairs and drinks only which is donwstairs (and didnt come with a table). Although i had a reservation and a pregnant friend in the group we had to argue to finally get our table. The food was nothing special - think about KFC, only a bit poshier and much more expensive. The waiter that later served us was fun and attentive. Still i wouldnt go back and wouldnt recommend. Ended up paying £120 for some drinks and fried chicken for 4.

This was a nice place for us to grab dinner on our first day in London. We had a 2 for 1 voucher for main meals from Virgin Trains. The decor inside was really nice, staff were friendly and the food was good (I'd recommend the honey corn bread). Overall a good experience.

Spent an afternoon in this bar relaxing and having a few drinks. A few tricky steps to get up into the place, but once inside there is a nice long bar area with stools and tables if you are eating. Downstairs is a lounge area with soft sofas and a small bar. for some reason the drinks menu downstairs is not as comprehensive as the one upstairs, but they still do the 2 for 1 cocktails during happy hour, which are well mixed and very popular.Drinks are usual London prices, there are a few American brews on offer but no draft beer. A nice selection of spirits and comfy surroundings can soon make an afternoon pass by. Staff are helpful and good mixologists.

I really liked the interior and the vibe and I loved the mac and cheese. However whilst I was eating I saw at least two mice running across the restaurant. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me until my friend jumped out of her seat in fear. Please sort this out as soon as possible please
