Shake Shack in City of London, Westminster

The setting is incredible, with an indoor terrace in Convent Garden, perfect. The burger buns are excellent, and the burger itself is very good overall. The fries are uniquely spiralized. A very nice establishment.

In 2019 it was my first Shake Shack and since then I have visited many and returned here once again

Terrible food, in terms of flavors and nutritional values. It is the antithesis of the Mediterranean diet and authenticity. We are one step below junk food, I don't even know how to define it. If you want to hurt yourself you are in the right place. Furthermore, the prices are very high.

Delicious burger, and fries. The drink was also good. Came to this restaurant several times, and the taste were always good. Long queuing at peak hour. The staffs were friendly. There are indoor seating area, and 2 sides of outdoor seating area. Sockets for charging are available near the cashier. Toilets for customers are available downstairs.

A fast food restaurant as we like it, with quality beers on the menu, which is no small feat. The staff is friendly.

Terrible service. There was half an hour left to close; however, they refused to let us eat there and we had to take it away. Moreover, they forgot to put a hotdog and a bottle of water on the order although we'd paid for them. No will to work I guess.

Cold fries, loveless burgers, stomach ache afterwards… not worth the money

Is a fast food smash burger. It is (albeit by a very narrow margin) the best burger I have ever eaten, even though I have eaten many different burgers in many different places. The service is fast. I would only rate it 2 stars due to little help with the order and also a lack of friendliness. The atmosphere is relatively nice, but the area is also relatively noisy and it is difficult to find a place for more than 4 people. If someone likes smashburgers and is willing to pay over 15 pounds for it, I fully recommend the shop. If you don't like smashburger I would go somewhere else. If you don't know what smashburgers are, you should still go and try it out. (I'm sure most people will enjoy it) In summary, only 4 stars (but I always rate very critically) because the service wasn't that good.

Personal favourite burger chain. Fries, burgers, shakes - all are great. Service was awesome, some of the nicest people. Somewhat pricy but if you’re craving a good burger with fries don’t sleep on the Shack

Hot dog is literally just a sausage and bun, nothing more. Even ketchup and mustard you have to pour yourself.

Classic fast-food, but the quality of the food is poor, very dirty, it costs a lot and the cheese sauce tastes like mold, I don't recommend it at all

Fast food burger restaurant with very good product quality. We really liked both things we tried and the location. We ate on the terrace in the sun and it was a very pleasant experience. The best thing is that they sell the best beer in the world: Estrella Galicia! A joy to find it in the letter.

In a superb setting, you have a first room to order then you come out to collect your order. We just had a milkshake but it was terrible! It's possible to sit in the middle of Covent Garden and enjoy the place. If you are a milkshake lover I highly recommend it!

Great spot for a shake shake that have done a good job of adapting to the strict space they have in covent garden. It was busy but we managed to get a seat and the food was ready to be picked up quickly Nice to see staff were on hand to shoo away the covent garden pigeons. Would recommend!

Proper hype job in my opinion. Great location but if you are dining outside you will be harassed by pigeons feeding on food left on tables by other patrons. Chips where stone cold after immediately collecting them. Vanilla Shake was a good consistency but completely flavourless.

Yeah, not great, it’s expensive for what it is. I don't understand the hype around this channel. Take chicken buger, the chicken is super super good and the bread too but the portions are small and the fries are quite dry. Ice tea is bad too, I don’t recommend it.

Veggie burger was nice. Didn't like eating in a cold courtyard. Someone left their bag unattended, making us very nervous. As we were eating in an unattended outside space, there was no-one to alert.

A little bit packed on a Saturday but that’s a good thing , it means central London is still a visitor attraction and economy is better for it. Came with my five year old and would like to say thanks to a lovely server called Agni I think , who took care of us , as I couldn’t leave my daughter on her own whilst collecting the food so he offered to assist me with this. He was very attentive and caring , and I believe it was his birthday today , what a lovely your man, we need professionalism and more passion like this in this industry!

Why does it ask for your personal information on the self service machines to order some chips??? I went up to the till and just paid like normal instead. I bought a concrete, something that I've wanted to try for ages and I found it far too sickly sweet tbh. I don't think that I'll get another one.

Delicious burgers, fries, and shakes here! We weren’t disappointed, and it’s very centrally located in Covent Garden. The chicken is halal, which is a plus for us as Muslim tourists. While slightly expensive, it’s expected given the central location. The loaded cheese fries were a great complement to our meal. Although the staff weren't super friendly, they served our food quickly. We enjoyed the vibrant ambience of Covent Garden and managed to find seats comfortably.

They have great Burgers with decent portions and great quality. Quick service, fair prices, and fresh ingredients make it a perfect spot for a satisfying meal.

Very high prices for a simple sandwich, without a drink, 12 euros

Had the most wonderful experience being served by Silvia! She was extremely polite and answered all my questions! Wait time to pick up food was minimal (I think it was less than 5mins if not 3) I had the shack burger which was juicy and quite tasty. The sauce is REALLY good! Salad was fresh. I wouldn’t say it was worth £9/£10 though. I also got the crinkle cut fries which were underwhelming.. £4/£5 for a decent portion of crunchy potatoes? Need more seasoning and potato content. They were flavourless, empty, crunchy potatoes. I would pay £3, at a push, for them. Now the chicken bites, they were exceptional! 🔥love them! Quite pricey at £6/£7 but I would get them again. They are like real big chucks of meat coated very nicely! Could be a little less salty though. The Raspberry Cheesecake Shake. What I came here for. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend. The general staff are great and very helpful. Dining area is very small and it’s outside so can be cold. The worst part are the pigeons flying VERY close to you as you eat. Not comfortable. Wished I ordered for takeout instead.

Delicious burgers, fries and shakes here. We weren’t disappointed, and it’s very centrally located in Covent Garden. Slightly expensive but it’s expected given the central location. We tried the Strawberry Cheesecake milkshake, which was delicious and complemented the loaded cheese fries and burgers. Shakemeister is highly recommended as well as the Mushroom burger. Staff were not super friendly but served us the food quickly. We enjoyed the ambience in the center of Covent Garden, and managed to get seats despite being rush hour at lunchtime.

Nothing to say about the food itself, it's the same classic shake shack I've had in other units. But the service was very efficient, polite and fast. Nice area to seat, clean and open. If you are in the area and want a fast/simple meal, it's a nice place to stop.

The person who took our order wrote down the wrong pager number (147 instead of 157) and hence they kept calling the wrong number when the food was ready. By the time we noticed the mistake it was about 10 minutes later and the food was cold. No apology was offered.

It closed 25 minutes before the time! I wanted to take away and the workers laughed at me! So poor service, not coming back…

So disappointing. Nothing like the US version. But to be honest the staff ruined it for us. Incredibly rude in seating area to our family. I think there are much better options locally. Poor experience, needs a change of management at least.

I found this branch of Shake Shack walking through London, I had only tried them in Mexico and the ones in this branch maintain the good flavor :)

Great burger.. but couldn't find the entrance!!

On the positive side, the meat of the burger as well as its bread which are good. Otherwise, the cheese is nothing special, the fries are bland. The service is cold, with no intention of helping or indicating. Also, the portions are very meager.

Called here for an early dinner. A decent enough fast food burger outlet that is a step up from other fast food outlets. All well cooked and very enjoyable. You can get a beer to have with your meal as well. Heated outdoor seating is available.

Four stars because it is one of the most expensive fast food restaurants in the city, and because of the great confusion and lack of internal and external seats in the restaurant. For the rest everything was really excellent, 5 star food. Advised.

I am totally against the fact that when you order a hamburger, they don't come in the potatoes and go aside. Even so, the burger is very tasty, but I expected it to be much more.

What an amazing experience on Shake Shack at Covent Garden, London. I had Dined In with family. Wonderful Quick and efficient Customers Service, Happy Smiley people on hospitality and Made the food Hot and Quick! They have a huge dining space just outside where you order. Imagine listening mindblowing Orchestra playing on Background and you're sitting on a cozy open fully decorated space with a massive crowd. It was a great experience indeed. 10/10 🔥💯

After trying Shake Shack several times in New York, we decided to try the one in the UK too. We took two Shake Burgers, one classic and one double, and the crinkle cut fries. All very good, you can feel the difference slightly with Shake Shack USA (slightly better), but my opinion is absolutely positive. Dining with Christmas decorations in Covent Garden also has its charm. Promoted 👌🏻

We ate excellent pizza in a restaurant under the stairs and attended several performances including violins and opera songs. It was beautiful

Fun little station for shake shack. I did not purchase a milkshake here but my friend who did was complaining about a bad stomach the day after. We walked all across London so this guy could drink a milkshake. I guess it wasn't really worth it but I do recommend it none the less.

You can enjoy delicious burgers in a restaurant with a pleasant terrace. My favorite is the Smoke Shack with customized lettuce. The food comes out quickly, except on Saturdays and Sundays during lunch time, so we recommend it! P.S.) I also had the limited edition burger, and it had a spicy sauce and was delicious! Be sure to visit this store on a nice day!

Price/quality is still on the high side, all fine but nothing special compared to, for example, Five Guys. Clearly better than McDonald's. Furthermore, a bit confusing construction where to order, because this is separately linked.

Really good burgers, for a food chain. But there are better burgers in London ;) Usually there is a que for about 10 minutes and then you have to wait for the food for another 10-15 minutes, so expect to wait around 30 minutes before you get the food.

Decent shake, cheeseburger pretty poor for £9 especially as you could get x9 McDonald's burgers for the same price and of similar size/taste. Rude service too. Definitely wouldn't repeat the experience.

Rubbish burger that was cold, chips were cold drink was ok and all for the fantastic price of £18.50 ish Plenty of other far better options a stones throw away wish I hadn’t gone here. I just wanted a quick fix for food should have gone to five guys that was 200m down the road but thought I’d try something new. Won’t ever go back

Unfortunately the food was cold and the price for the portions was not justified. In addition, the iced tea wasn't any, just unsweetened black tea. It's a shame, but definitely not again...

Went yesterday, and the female server is extremely moody and rude. Her male colleague, however is lovely. Food is good, quite a long wait time but understandably so.

No, just no. We just wanted to have a quick bite before the show at the ROH. Almost £60 for 4 burgers, 2 orders of fries and one drink. We had to wait for 20 minutes for our food. First bite - the burger patties were almost raw. Thinest layer of crust, then raw beef. No mention on the menu that burgers are served anything but done (which these were patently not). We ate the fries, which were mediocre and lukewarm, and ran to catch our show. Never again.

Really overpriced and excessively expensive. £50, for two burgers, 1 hot dog, 1 fries and a coke that 3 people shared. The fries are not worth the detour and the famous sauce that we hear so much about is not even included. Frankly disappointed.
