the pub itself is very open and not too busy- the decor is casual but has a lived in/eclectic feel. the bartender is what makes it though. Josh was so funny, friendly, and helpful- we could only stay for one drink but we wish it could have been much more!

I rarely write any reviews, but the service was so extraordinarily good that they deserve writing one. My salad was delicious, and as I had a bit of a rough stomach they made me an angostura with lemon. ❤️

We went in at noon, it was almost empty, but filled up quickly. The fish&chips and hallumni wrap were great! You should also try the apple cider they recommend and they brew their own beer! The atmosphere and service are amazing, super friendly! Wholeheartedly recommend it! Köszönjük! 😊

Recently re-opened after a refurbishment, the pub looks welcoming, and we were welcomed by lovely friendly team, and served quality food and drink. Will definitely be back.

The people working here are the best. I forgot my bag with my wallet and passport and they did everything they could to contact me and help me get my bag back. The beer is great so no reason not to go there!

Today, 15 March 2025 13:17. I arrive Garrick Arms. When I went to the bar counter to wait for service, the restaurant manager (Lady) did not offer me any assistance at all. Because I am Asian, she kept serving other customers while I was standing at the counter. At least three times, she provided service to different customers but completely ignored me.

Incredible service by the lovely and welcoming Markus. Felt right at home in this pub. Will come back 1000%

Classic pub experience. Would definitely recommend! The staff was friendly and service was great. The cheese and bacon burger was quite good. Fried chicken sandwich was overall good but lacked flavor/spice. Chips were good and crispy. Overall, would recommend this stop!

Came in for a couple of drinks and was greeted by the lovely bar tender,service was quick despite the pub being busy and Marcus was eficiente and friendly and even recomended an alcohol free shot for our sober friend so nobody was left out. Lovely pub lovely staff great service 10/10

Friendly staff and atmosphere, but the food was not good. We had a steak sandwich and the bread was tasteless and the steak.was chewy. Fortunately the chips were not bad and the apple juice was good. But not a place to eat at.

What a lovely place- we stopped in (on Valentine’s Day!) on the off chance of a table before the theatre. Although the place was busy a very nice man found us a table. The building and its interior are very beautiful and there was a lovely, friendly atmosphere from both staff and fellow patrons. We had the vegan burgers with chips and they were hot and delicious with all the trimmings. I just wanted to say to the staff, thanks for fitting us in last night, and for the lovely food and service. :) Maria.

Really very friendly staff. We ordered fish & chips, which arrived in a few minutes, really excellent.

Came on Friday for a quick drink before the theatre and the lovely Irish lady at the bar helped us so much with our drinks selection, obviously very well trained bar staff as she was great with recommending which beers and wines would be to our taste. Will be back if I’m in the area to get a lovely cold glass of the Hazy Day IPA.

The food is good (the vegan chili was delicious) and the staff is very friendly, especially Simon who was able to help me with my food allergies! Thank you 😀

A welcoming pub with friendly casual service making everyone feel like a local. We had crispy octopus and fish and chips. It was so good that only the fresh apple cider could make it better. Thumbs up! You must go.

The pints were crisp and the service was a joy. There was a selfless man behind the bar who put pub before employee, commendable, authentic, original. When asked his name he said the pub was 300 years old and disappeared into the night.

We booked a table for 8 last night and the service we had from arrival to the end of the evening was exceptional. Markus went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed, and checked in on us regularly, bringing drinks direct to the table. I would highly recommend this beautiful old pub which has an amazing team of staff. Thank you!

Charged me 45 pounds for two drinks - one guinness and the other a cheap prosecco. I suspect it’s because I’m not a local. I asked a local about it and he said they clearly took advantage of me. Visitors stay away, one bad apple usually leads to multiple.

We came in here about midday for a quick pint after we had run a half marathon around the city - the bartender, who had a bit of an Italian (maybe) accent was lovely - he was chatty and friendly, which is sometimes missing from London pubs! Would visit again

You also were so kind and positive. My English wasn't that strong and making me feel comfortable to order the right things from the menu. Went twice in October and booked for an evening now . Booked a table online, easy confirmation, arrived on time , nice table allocated. Pub was buzzing with folks . Great choice of food and a Xmas turkey dinner added as extra option. The food is great , piping hot, with reasonable prices. Food didn’t take too long but long enough to mean it was fresh and tasty. Lovely welcome from the staff and they regularly checked on us to make sure everything was good. Love the place

Met up with my family for a pre Christmas lunch. Nice atmosphere. Some food choices not available but we enjoyed what we had. Steaks, burgers and chilli.All very enjoyable and we will go again.

The music was a bit noisy, compared to other eateries we tested this long weekend, apart from that the food and service were good.

A lovely pub, great atmosphere and value for money. It was very busy so not easy to get a seat, but to be expected for a Saturday in the run up to Christmas.

Absolutely nice pub, restaurant in SOHO!!

We had a disappointing experience at this pub. Upon arrival, we were told there were no available tables, which was understandable at first. However, after we decided to wait, it became clear that the issue wasn’t the lack of tables, but the fact that we had two small children with us. After tre minutes waiting time, we were told that if we wanted to order food, there would be a 45-minute wait. It felt like they were discouraging us rather than being honest about their capacity. While we understand that some places may not be fully equipped to accommodate families, the lack of transparency and the subtle message that families with kids aren’t welcome left a sour taste. A disappointing experience for what should have been a welcoming environment. Luca

If you are a tourist in London, this is one of the first stops. Delicious food and ice cold beers flowing from a variety of fountains. Polite and friendly staff, amazing tastes. Burger is the best💯

Marcus and Lousie are amazing. Great drinks, great Mac and Cheese. The services is the best in Mayfair/SOHO area. The Green Kings bars are amazing, they may have alot of different names but they are the same. Just look for the Green King name under the main name

Well placed in the heart of London's west end . First time visit as , other times not been able to get a table, it was well worth the wait. Plenty of people but plenty of tables , good long bar , didn't take long to be served. Good selection of food, dinner or lighter snacks , great selection of drinks, all food and drinks were reasonably priced. The staff, Markus and Ryan were very good and upbeat and friendly too. Its a Greene King pub , so menu is fairly standardised but was great as it is. We will definitely come here next time in London
