breakfast box review: egg undercooked , Black pudding not cooked enough , fried (cheap) bread that was more like toast , hash brown was OK (had better) bacon (cheap bacon) was OK (again had better) , mushrooms were nice and the Fanta lemon I bought was nice i didn't touch the beans or tomatoes so can't comment on them the staff were nice though

Good range of tasty hot and cold sandwiches , pies, pasties and salads . Own baked bread used for sandwiches is also sold here. Range of buns, cakes and desserts on offer. Eat in or take out . Has good meals on wheels delivery service too .

Been using these for around 3 years, odd hiccup, but nothing major, until, I ordered my usual, Friday sandwich, large bacon, egg, tomato, I collected as usual, due to my short break, when I got back it was just bacon and sauce, I phoned up to rectify it next time, I had no apology at all, the next Friday I phoned my regular order, and explained about the error previously, when I collected I was still charged full price, and once again no apology, no more chances tho

Whenever on a Saturday shift at work we order our breakfast from here. Always fresh and delivered fast. Most importantly though they're always delicious.

I was craving a bacon sandwich but couldn't be bothered to make one, so instead I ordered a takeout from Upper Crust. The sandwich was delicious!

They open early for breakfast, do lunches and snacks. They also do meals on wheels so must be reasonably good. Down to earth, quick service of good food

Well as TA chaps know by now I like to supptastyort my local Sandwich shops and this one is up there with the best. Very friendly staff. Parking is no problem as there is a car park opposite. The food is excellent. The Hot sandwiches made in minutes, and were not too stodgy and whilst I felt full at the end of eating a small sandwich I didn't feel bloated. The food was fresh and . Had to wait for paninis but what we had we enjoyed. It on main thoroughfare through Swinton and Mexborough. Not too far from Dearne Valley College so happily recommend this to anyone in the area or passing through to stop off. There is a small seating area and is open for breakfast.

Pleasley Road
All of the family met up for a festive lunch. We had pre ordered food. The food was mediocre at best, it was dry and bland in the most part and we had a range of different meals. A few dishes were burnt and even though we pre ordered the order was wrong for a couple of our party. The service was friendly.

Taylors LaneWent for Friday as its fish and chip day. As sign outside, showed it was their special for the day. The chips and Mushy peas were average, hard to get wrong really. However the fish not so good. The batter was crispy on outside then wet and slimy inside, looked horrible. It also contained the thinnest piece of fish. It cost £10.30 clearly not worth it. However the service and drinks were good. But as we mainly went for food 2* rating for me. Should have been a sign when only a handful of people were in pub.

106 Thorpe Street Thorpe HesleyCome here every week for breakfast with friends. Always treated good by the staff. Meals are always lovely and well presented. Place is always clean too.

8, Main StreetI had booked a table for 3 and was placed in bar area cause there wasn't any heating on in restaurant area and was squeezed on to a little table in corner, we never took our coats off cause it was freezing and I took 10mins to be served at bar even though we was the only ones stood there, when our food eventually came the hunters chicken had to be the smallest chicken breast I have ever seen !! And the dessert was the same, over all to say we have been coming now for the last few months we won't be coming back again cause it is getting worst on every visit, the staff need a good shake and they need to sort out some form of heating and also some hot water cause the water was baltic at the toilet sink.!!

Percy StreetI’ve just had the most delicious lunch at The Wharncliffe as part of Rotherham Food Network event. Lovely food and excellent service by the excellent team of students. This would be a great venue for corporate functions or community gatherings that value the opportunity to support students in their learning. I will definitely find an opportunity to come with my wife soon.
