Very good Japanese original food. I really like they have Oden, which is not easy to find outside Japan. High quality sashimi e snacks. Few suggestions: - I left smelling like I’ve been cooking there all day. Need to have better ventilation! - minimum £30 per person is a bit pretentious considering the location. Suggest £25. - need some little investment in the interior. Start removing the 2 old armchairs

This hidden gem is a true taste of Japan. The food is delicious, and has an authentic flavour to it. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and it is a true joy to visit. The fried chicken is a must to try.

We went back 2 days in a row to this small and authentic izakaya style restaurant. It is small, with a maximum of 6 tables so reservation is recommended. The sashimi is handled with a lot of care, served in the right temperature and some slightly seared to enhance the flavour. Lunch sets are perfect, with soup and rice and some sides with the main. The dinner menu showcases a wider selection of sashimi and delightful warm dishes. Would highly recommend the karage, the fried tofu, and the home made dumplings. Delish!

Exceptional gem. Stumbled upon this little Japanese place whilst in London. Small number of tables with cosy atmosphere. The menu comprised of an assortment of Japanese food - we had a selection of sashimi, oden, karaage etc. They were all delicious. Especially washed down with some warm sake. Arguable the best Japanese food I had in the UK and I've eaten at lots of Japanese places. It may be a little out of the way but omg it is well worth the effort. Service was amazing as well.

We knew we wanted Japanese food, but we didn’t know where to go. This is the place to go. Small and unassuming, but with Japanese businessmen happily eating meant we were drawn in. We were glad we were. The food was delicious with lovely service. Every dish was bursting with genuine flavour and all the recommendations were spot on. If I’m ever in the area again then this will be where I’m heading. Such a cracking little find!

A lovely and authentic Japanese restaurant in the most unexpected location. Simple and unpretentious, it is run by a husband and wife team that between the two of them deliver a remarkably diverse menu - from sashimi (fresh and tasty) to gyoza and grilled and deep fried prawns, chicken and pork. The prices are just as unexpected - it’s probably the best value Japanese meal in London.

We had the best authentic Japanese meal in London at Uoichi. The hosts are super nice and friendly. The food is outstanding and freshly made by the Japanese chef (the owner). The service was exceptional. Elisa explained everything on the menu that was not known to us. The presentation is well done. Overall an excellent experience. We would highly recommend to everyone.

This is a fantastic little joint that serves lovely authentic Japanese food. The sashimi is very well sourced and is absolutely delicious. Also plenty of classic izakaya food like fried chiken and fried oysters. Lovely owners too! Highly recommended.

Piece of authentic Japan cuisine in London. Place hidden behind skyscrapers of Canary Wharf takes you thousand miles away to Japan. Run by nice Japanese couple serves really good food, all of it I had opportunity to try for the first time. I ordered Udon, grilled smelt and deep fried oysters - all of it amazing. Eating grilled smelt was a new experience for me, as it had fish eggs inside that were popping in the mouth. Amazing! And owner was so nice and open. Totally recommend this place.

Freshly made gyoza, I was a fan of the mix and match option, since I wanted the vegan ones and my friend the shrimp. Both equally delicious. 6 dumplings, 5£. Convenient to grab on the way.
