Union Hotel in Torbay

Fantastic place, was exactly like pubs used to be on a Saturday night, everyone spoke staff and landlords super friendly, will definitely go back again

Been here twice in a matter of months,was visiting as a plymouth argyle fan and went to a Torquay game on last visit good old down to earth pub, nothing not to like

Stopped for a drink and game of pool on way home from a walk . Very quiet and service was quick . Pool table is in separate bar and there was plenty of choice for seating

The best stay once again. We love the Union at Montol and Mazey. So full of welcome and fun. Jo is a fab manager and the hotel is so wonderful. OK it's old and worn in places but our room was freshly decorated and with a wonderful view of the shenanigans! We even made it down for breakfast the second day and it was really nice and catered for us vegetarians. If you want bland and dull, head off somewhere else but we love you xx

First time visit as an away football supporter. Made to feel welcome,great staff etc, will be returning.

This pub is great on many levels. Excellent real ale, the best I have had in a long time. Landlord and Landlady and staff are lovely. The locals very friendly and welcoming. Brilliant for watching football on BT sport. If you are in the area well worth a visit you won't be disappointed.

Turned up early for a Torquay Utd game with my Dad, and as it was peeing down we needed to find somewhere for a pint so nipped in here, it is what it is, a boozer with friendly staff and a good atmosphere on game days, good choice of ciders and beers but the decor needs a bit of updating
