Uncle Nam's in Hackney

I had such a great experience having Saturday 'Linner' here. The food was delicious, the prices are really reasonable and the service was on point. Highly recommend. Predicting Uncle Nam's will be our new 'Go To'.

Four of us ate here last week, for the first time in a while. Lovely, chilled vibe, and friendly and attentive staff. Most importantly, the food was delicious and fragrant - the pork belly, chicken chow chow, vegetable curry, tofu banh mi, salt and pepper tofu and battered mushrooms. I’ve been thinking about it all week, and will definitely be back soon.

I love this place! My boyfriend and I come here all the time. We live in Stokey and this is our go-to restaurant. The summer rolls with tofu are my favourite dish - that peanut sauce is just so good

Great service. Lovely waitress, underwhelming food. Tiny squid starter with more batter than squid. All tiny, thin pieces. The pork and beef noodle soup had a diluted taste to it and in amongst the pices of meat round slices which looked and tasted just like over the counter Morrisons luncheon meat. I am sorry to give it this rating ,,, the worst Viet meal ive had in 20 years of living in this area , having experienced several amazing Viet restaurants

What a delight! Saw it as we were driving past , stopped with family ( very eas parking on the side street ,free after 6:30pm) Very well thought out menu, not too many variations but all the essentials We had a selection of starters ( spring rolls, calamari, wings and summer rolls) followed by chicken pho and chicken noodles Finished off with Uncle Nam’s home made dessert - Vietnam jelly ( Pandam) Nice size portions, very filling and most importantly FRESH and DEEELCIOUS A full meal for 4 £77!!! Will definitely be returning Highly recommended

Entré recientemente para una comida rápida que estaba deliciosa y fresca como de costumbre. ¡La comida vietnamita es siempre una delicia y la del tío Nam nunca falla! Mi única queja es que se permite fumar en las mesas al aire libre, y un tipo se sentó allí y comenzó a chupar un cigarro. En algún universo esto puede no ser un problema, pero está aquí. Las mesas al aire libre están fuera de las ventanas delanteras abiertas de par en par que ve y el humo vuelve al restaurante. A decir verdad, fue bastante repugnante y probablemente no volveré hasta los meses más fríos, cuando puedo ahorrarme un poco de humo de maricón maloliente con mi cena.
