Umbrella in Cheltenham

A few of us went to watch the England final of the euros. Was a great atmosphere and efficient and friendly bar staff.

The umbrella pub has a huge drink variety, lovely outdoor area, brilliant entertainment to suit all, friendly barstaff, pool tables, darts and a brilliant atmosphere..not sure you could ask for anymore to be honest.

Great pub, friendly staff, clean,comfortable, good wide range of entertainment. BBQ events range of cultured food and live music events, not forgetting comedy guests and disco's. Live sport shown, pub games with darts teams, Skittles teams and pool teams. Lots of fun for all. You can even hire function room for any occasions. Great place to visit.

5 stars!!! COULD NOT RECOMMEND THE UMBRELLA MORE FOR THE ROOM HIRE! Simply amazing!! We had our daughters first birthday at the Umbrella in their skittles alley. It was the most perfect day! The room was spacious, clean and very accessible. We could do our own catering and have a soft play company come in and set up to entertain the kids. We were able to hire the bar so that our guesses could order drinks without going into the main bar. The staff were helpful and friendly. The garden area was great too.The management were also great and easy to communicate with for planning the party, on the day itself and afterwards. All our guests had an amazing time. We didn't feel rushed on the day and any help we needed from staff was received and nothing was too much for them. I would 100% return and book again for future events! Thank you everyone at The Umbrella!

Beer is absolutely vile, tastes off. I do not recommend whatsoever.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Everything was perfect for our boys day 💙💙thanks to Gee for sorting everything out leading up to the day and thank you to Greg and Gary for everything on the day. A wonderful day had by all ☺️

May Bank Holiday with visiting friends. Music too loud to talk to one another. Left and went to a quieter venue. Thought we were in Cheltenham not Ibiza.

Cracking day yesterday, great people great bar staff, but most off all a lady called Georgia made it, thankyou. Definitely will be returning.

Fun local boozer, undergoing a program of improvements and a change of direction. Live acoustic music , bowling ally. Event hire and out door stage area. Well worth a visit.

Don't even bother. The new manager David hasn't got a clue how to run a pub. No please or thank you. He just sits at the table watching TV smoking his vape. I understand he has driven all the locals away. Stay away if you don't want to be bored.

Great beers and good pool tables

Don't bother with this pub, it's changed hands recently and is rubbish. The staff are surley, and the Manger doesn't know the first thing about customer service. Steer clear there are plenty of nicer pubs around.

Went there during supposed opening hours, was closed with a dog sat inside.

Brilliant venue for the pool tournament I attended last weekend, fabulous efficient friendly staff.

Great place for games of pool, do an hourly rate which is a good price and the tables are great!

Extremely bad pints. Lines need attending too and cooler needs a look at. Nice service tho seem clean to the eye

Arranged to have a baby shower here, and Kelly & Helen we’re absolutely fantastic from the word “go!” Despite changing my mind constantly on many things, they continued to accomodate and at no point ever made me feel I was an inconvenience! They provided a varied buffet for my guests and overall gave me a 5 star service. Would definitely recommend here for a private function!!

Nice pub , clean and tidy , with excellent seating inside and outside, and they do a nice Sunday roast

Friendly and welcoming. Karaoke too, if you like to that. 😃 Even in festival week, it felt like South Wales, which is the highest compliment! See you in 2023.

Since new management the whole pub is much friendlier and family orientated! Nicely decorated and friendly staff! but will deffo go again to the normal bar.

Nice and bright pub with friendly staff. Not the best selection of ales, but adequate. Nice area to play pool without people passing by. All in all a pleasant experience.

I ordered a burger and fries and it was a decent sized portion, delicious and affordable too. Really impressed with the food and with the friendly customer service at this pub, as well as the nice atmosphere of the outdoor seating area.

If you visited here following the Google Maps "Real Ale" recommendations then you will be disappointed, there were no real ales to be had when I visited. Otherwise a friendly pub with sports screens to view.

Absolutely awful place. The lady serving would pay no attention to me as she was only serving regulars, then a young guy that seemed to be on drugs offered me a fight for no reason. Should be shut down immediately.

place is dead how it survives ill never know £4.40 a pint no wonder locals are closing down at these prices

Had a bad reputation, but nowadays it's a very friendly local pub. Everytime I've been there has been no trouble.

Nice local pub perfect for a game of pool

£1.10 for a pint of lime and soda where I specifically asked for only a very small amount if soda. Maximum of 60p elsewhere in Chelts. Heaven knows what a pint costs! Otherwise nice pub, lots of games, darts, pool etc and good sports coverage.

Had no draught beer except Worthington cream .

What a great little public house this is Darts pool and I believe a snooker table up stairs. The staff were very friendly 10,/10 for me.

Have had many a fun night at this place. Staff are lovely. Not far from home, lots of friendly people there. Child friendly, no riff raff and drugs going on unlike a lot of places. Good discos and stuff put on now and then.

Fantastic friendly Pub. Brilliant pool and darts set up. Landlord & Landlady are really nice people and are doing a great job with the pub.
