Went in last week and they were playing classical music which complimented my dining experience wonderfully. Well done to the manager.

Toilets stink cheesburger disgusting cleaning staff don’t do their job

Ordered food it came a hour late it was stone cold, missing food, at least 3 items. Rang to see if we could pop into store and return the food we was given and the manager said he couldn’t do nothing for us. Long story short don’t order off just eat and don’t order from Cheltenham hi street the manager was rude and hung up the phone absolute disgusting to be honest we had our order number ready also. Was a combination of food made wrong in store and food missing, will never order again from this place absolutely shambolic.

Was going to eat in here tonight after theatre; but two members of staff chewing gum behind counter. Disgusting.

Absolutely awful service as they sent the wrong food absolutely nothing was right then don’t answer the phone.

I’ve eaten McDs all over the world but this franchise takes the prize for being the first one to poison me, if I’d seen the state of the toilets before I ordered I would’ve left, on the plus side the service was reasonable and the atmosphere was buzzing with lots of students

Live locally so ordered delivery hundreds of times. Only 1 out of 100 times has the correct food arrived. Dine in and be entertained by local 12 year old, north face wearing wannabe road men (who probably live in a mansion) smashing glass bottles and sucking vapes like they miss their mummy, as they chase the chav girls around the restaurant while sipping their lil choccy milkshakes. Quite a fun night!

I ordered online, The drink was completely spilled, majority of the food was missing and both the restaurant and delivery driver refused to answer being contacted. Order only if you’re willing to micromanage them every step or if you’re willing to pick it up yourself after you find out they messed up.

Staff and food is good but they always prioritize delivery orders, and drive thru orders. Some staff are nice but some are really rude. They forget items on the orders far too often

Always open late on a Sunday, open times say 0700 till 2300 but always opens late.

I ORDERED 44 FREE SAUCES AND THERE WAS NO LIMIT ON HOW MANY SAUCES YOU COULD RECIEVE. AND I ONLY RECIEVED 9 OF THE FREE SAUCES I ORDERED!!! I EXPECTED TO GET THE OTHER 35 SAUCES BECAUSES I WANTED 44 BUT THEY ONLY GAVE ME 9!!!

GOOD👏SOUP👏 the food is very yummy here, i ate up a whole burger it was so good. the fries were salty and warm too, just as they should be👀 beware the restaurant is usually really busy though so we had to eat our food somewhere else. nevertheless the service was super quick, thank you

Food and service were as at most McDonald's but this one was hard to find as the satnav didn't seem to account for the street being closed to ordinary traffic. It was interesting and time consuming to find somewhere to park on a rainy Sunday evening to access this outlet.

I ordered it on the app and collected it in store, quick and easy transaction. The food was ready on time. So all good.

The burger was not tasty at all it was the new big cheesy with bacon one . chips were cold there was a swarm of small fly's on the wall and kept flying around us there was a Very strong smell where we sat at the top left hand side

Having had deliveries from this restaurant 3 times. I can tell you the food is always cold or has half the order missing. Calling Uber Eats is no help. They told us no refund could be given due to the amount of complaints that this restaurant receive. They tell you to call the restaurant. Might as well burn your money. Why are they still allowed to accept orders. Please, everyone, order from the drive thru in Cheltenham. it's perfect every time.

The on.line ordering system can be tricky if you dont do often. Its not obvious what order to do it or that you can order a.meal and then choose options. Why doesnt it g7ve that option first then display the other choices

I ordered from just eat £18 it cost me didn’t get a delivery of food so I went to McDonald’s they wouldn’t help me so I phone just eat they said they’re gonna keep my money and the delivery drivers had my food. And when i said to the woman manager in McDonald’s that i ent got no more money to feed my kids and she just walked of how rude she was dont order with just eat they got drivers that eat your food and will say they delivered it

McDs are normally grubby and the food filling but tasteless. This one had probably the best service and was the cleanest with perfectly cooked food I've been to in years. Well done Cheltenham McDs!

Terrible. If I had read the reviews, I wouldn't have eaten there. Speed of service was OK. Had 2 Big Mac meals. Both were near enough cold. No banana milkshake available and no napkins. Have been in many McDonald's restaurants, but this rates among the very worst.

Needs a serious hygiene review and to go back to the basics

Hot food served fast for you to eat close to all the waste society's lazy people can't be bothered to collect together and put in a bin that is literally 5m away.

So I stood there for 20 minutes. Waiting for 3 cheeseburgers and a medium fried. I eventually got my food. And the fries were not in the Bag as well as the burgers were cold. The service. I've had there before, was good however today it was awful .

This food is sooo good better than my grandma’s cooking!! I ordered a whopper with onion rings and it was so tasty and yummy!!!!! 10/10 recommend 😎

Young kids behind counter very un professional, kept talking on the speaker system asking customers to vacate the premises immediately but only joking and my friend was sick after having chicken burger. Will not go here ever again 😒

This McDonald's is an absolute joke. Orders are never correct. Lazy staff and the managers just simply do not care. Ordered online, they accepted order, I paid, they waited half an hour then cancelled it. Now I have to wait 7 days for a refund. Useless.

Unfortunately, out of control of the McDonald’s staff, they have to deal with unruly kids who come and make the environment a challenging place for those wanting to dine in

It’s a terrible service meant to be fast food, managed to get one out in less than 30 secs more than 70 years ago now it takes forever? The old system is a million times better? I don’t recommend ordering through the McDonald’s app, you won’t get everything you order and once delivered, the customer service is shocking. Try KFC instead!

I ordered a double mc plant meal alongside my partners meal and a child’s meal for one of our sons. We only got 1 lot of fries and my double mcplant meal had no plant burgers in it, it only had the bun with lettuce, tomato and cheese. I didn’t realise this until we got home as my baby was crying in the back so we had to leave straight away. Very unhappy about this order.

Fine as far as mcdonalds go, however, the maggots in the sauce dispensers is repulsive, says a lot about the cleaning standards..

Been into Mac Donald’s today,Mac Donald’s need to give it a deep clean as today on our visit today there was aload of midgies flying around and on the walls seen a member of staff picking there nose while dealing with people food very unhygienic

The wife and I took a trip to Cheltenham and as usual we always end up In McDonald's.

Probably the slowest McDonald's in the country for service and the staff all seem to be congregating around the food prep area when they need to be concentrating on doing some cleaning. Let down to the franchise!

It's Macdonalds so you know where you are and what you're getting. Quite busy, even so food took a long time to come. It seems deliveroo takes priority over in store customers.

Cheapest food in an overpriced High Street. Avoid between 3.30pm and 5.30pm when the schoolkids dominate the restaurant. And the street outside. But why are the fries always undercooked and indigestible? Not just at this branch. I reckon the head office accountants cut 30 seconds off the frying time and saved £1000's on electricity. Burger King fries are so much better these days, fully cooked.

Horrible absolutely horrible, the staff here just stare at you with dead eyes the food is clearly chucked together by someone in a rush and the toilets are absolutely minging! Seriously there are plenty of good eateries in Cheltenham, just this isn't one of them! There's another mcdees on the edge of town if it really must be mcdees! who are a lot nicer with a nice friendly atmosphere, here is just a hangout for the next generation of yobos.

Girl bringing out the food didn't know where our table number was so was walking around the restaurant looking at all the tables to find our number by the we saw her and got our food it was cold, the diet coke wasn't filled to the mark and had absolutely no flavouring in it at all.

Very busy ! Full of kids. Queue well managed, but tables could not be wipe quickly enough...

Generally low hygiene in the eating area, dirty tables and disgusting toilets...I can only immagine how the cooking area is....

The food was rubbish. My fish burger had the tartare sauce missing. It was so dry.

Breakfast menu ends at 11. Children welcome, with colouring provided. Children's menu availible. Disabled access provided to both restaurant and rest rooms. Menu is customisable. Vegetarian options on menu.

My breakfast this morning was as expected but the hot chocolate was super watery. Got them to remake it and even though it looked better it was just as bad

Since COVID hygiene standards have plummeted. Is there a shortage of disinfectant because they ll wipe, poorly, dirty tables with a dry cloth.... 🤔 Leaving stains and debris behind. Don't even get me started on the toilets... 🤮 Kids like to hang out in groups, not eating. Depending on who's on duty; this wont be dealt with leaving nice families feeling uneasy. Foods alright though.

Went mid afternoon on a sunday. I ordered on the self order screen. Waiting time wasnt too bad, about 5 minutes or so but not many tables available. Other customers dont really distance so somewhat awkward when waiting with other customers walking past, hence the score

My partner and daughter waited ages for their food due to the amount of delivery drivers..ridiculous..i ended up going to greggs over the road..also had a drunk in there with a can of beer he wasnt hiding and even though a couple of police officers came in he was still allowed to sit in..not the best

At very short notice, on a Sunday morning, we found ourselves with an 8-year old birthday party that was cancelled by an organisation in Gloucester for that very day. We spoke to Sam at this branch and he could not have been more helpful - he assumed it could be possible to cater for 14 kids; he went ahead and arranged it and then passed it on to the evening team to set up. When we arrived, everything was in place for us. Kieran and his team had received the message and they had everything decked out. Kieran too, could not have been more helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed, flags and colouring pages were laid out and he even gave the birthday boy a free McFlurry. As a rescue for a birthday party that had, at 10am seemed like it would have to be cancelled, the team here absolutely made our day. Thank you.

Why are the Veggie burgers so expensive and everything else so cheap? Do they not want to encourage people to invest in a greener planet? Obviously not.

No fries or milkshake or McFlurries available and the gents toilets needed a very deep cleaning.

If you want magots in your ketchup then feel free to eat here. Apart from the staff there’s very little positive to say about this restaurant. It’s forever messy, more often than not you’ll have to put someone else’s food in the bin to get a seat. There’s very little room throughout the whole place and it’s consistently full of screaming kids and gang wannabes. I’d actively avoid eating here at any cost especially with KFC, Burger King and a new a Taco Bell all within a 5 minute walk.

Much crowded place in the high Street

Possibly the worst McDonald's I ever had the misfortune of visiting. The first time I went was on a Saturday evening and they were letting teenagers drink vodka openly. One even passed out in the toilet and the police had to come. The second time I went I tried ordering on the app and it didn't work. Fine, I'll order at the counter then. I went tk the counter and the manager was so rude to me when all I'd done was show him the code on the app it had asked me to show him. He didn't even take my order. I love McDonald's, but I'll never return to this one. Please for the love of God get some decent staff and get rid of the rude ones.

Standard mc Donald's, service was a bit slow however on a few occasions.

Popped into Mcdonalds Cheltenam High Street today. I used the loos. Thought they were badly signposted "waterworks" and you had to work out if it was men or women. Anyway they were not spotless and it made me wonder if it was a clean eatery. Toilet cleanliness is very important. I ordered a wrap and a coffee. It was okay but not the best. Staff were not friendly in fact the place was devoid of atmosphere. Needs a good clean and friendlier workers to raise the standards.

They really need to consider a dedicated location for the home delivery providers

Awful don't go near it unless you have to, crawling with kids that have no class and talk utter rubbish. Maggots have been found in the ketchup dispenser so stay clear of that. Always a massive wait, think most I've waited is 25 minutes for a breakfast meal.

Place for easy bite.. too crowded during weekends and on evenings. Sometimes the chicken patty and nuggets feel very dry.

This was our first visit for well over 12 years. It was a great experience. Really nice food and so efficiently delivered to our table. We will definitely visit Mcdonalds again. Thank you.
