Bonita cafetería en la calle principal en Honor Oak. Tiene una sensación de moda y parece el lugar para ir para los lugareños. La comida que tuvimos (huevos Benedict) era muy bueno, así como el café. El servicio era bastante rápido y el personal era amable (aunque la señora detrás del mostrador era bastante sullen y no la vimos sonreír una vez mientras estábamos en! )

Fantastic creole and cajun food - brilliantly spiced - in a comfortable and laid-back environment with amazing cocktails. We particularly recommend the gumbo and the cornbread - the best we’ve had outside of the USA. Great value for money. Just 2 mins from Honor Oak Park station.

A most enjoyable experience for us. We had a full English breakfast washed down with an Old fashion cocktail. This establishment comes highly recommended! The staff are most welcoming and ambiance is great coupled with some cool jazz....

This is a super place, very relaxing ambiance, excellent background jazz, friendly, helpful staff and lovely food which is very reasonably priced. Our eggs Benedict omelettes were really delicious - the hollandaise was perfect. The coffee is excellent too - a great place! We’ll be back.

Only been for morning visits and honestly I can say the food is unreal! The Salmon Royale is divine with the hollandaise being so creamy. Brilliant for breakfast.

What a lovely place. I've bought takeaway coffee before but never had dinner. The mac n cheese was gorgeous and somehow they knew that I love pickled veg and they had them battered. I was in heaven. I will go back.

Disappointing experience. There were 3 of us and one small child. Our table was sticky, no attempt was made to clean it. We waited for well over an hour and were fobbed off with ‘just two minutes’ which extended to 15 minutes. Even a side order of beans for my grand-daughter was not forthcoming until the 11th hour. There was no attempt to explain the delay. When we finally received our poached eggs with green garnish and side sauce, plus pulled pork with eggs and plantain, I was close to suggesting that the order be cancelled and we go to another nearby establishment which ensures its customers are happy. I will not be back.

Very good food and excellent cocktails. My husband and I had 2x brambles each and were pleased with the flavour and complexities. We had the sourdough bread as a starter and the bread was perfectly chewy and sour; the olive oil pairing was very good but not the best I’ve had. I had the shrimp and grits and he the plantains and steak. It was definitely very different flavouring from the shrimp and grits I’ve had in Georgia. The Creole flavouring was tasty, with a hint of spice, and lots of juicy shrimp which made me pleased. The portion size was very good for the price and I got so full I saved half for takeaway. My husband finished his plate and also enjoyed his food; I adored his plantains. Lovey Albanian server who we chatted with a bit as we have visited her country and loved it. Also lovely chef who is from Aix.

Hosted my birthday here at the weekend and everything was so well done. The food was amazing, drinks were flowing, we were able to play our own music, the service was next to none - just 10/10 all round! Highly recommend for a dinner or private hire

Unfortunately despite appreciating the cozy and welcoming vibe of this neighbourhood cafe, my recent experience having lunch means that I won’t be coming back. My partner’s beef brisket toastie was meagre on the brisket and lacking in flavour. Of the two pieces of sour dough accompanying my poached egg with artichoke and spinach, mysteriously only one was toasted. The server was pleasant and friendly but whoever is in the kitchen appears to be asleep at the wheel.

Looks like a cosy cafe for brunch and evening drinks but my recent experience was a bit of a shame. Upon walking in the floor was dirty with bits of food and wrappers from the previous guests at the table we were shown to. The table was also very dirty and sticky with obvious glass or cup marks so hadn't been wiped down. I had brunch along with some drinks. The service was average, we were offered water promptly, but then no one came back to ask for drinks for a good while. When the drinks arrived, the milk jug was dirty with what looked like strawberry jam around the rim and the glass of juice was also dirty as well. The food was ok, the Italian toasted sandwich didn't have enough filling to merit the price, but the other dishes looked nice, especially the eggs. There is only one bathroom, which isn't a problem, but this was grimy, with dirt and dusty surfaces and brown cracking silicon around the basin. The bin even had dents in the lid! Wouldn't rush back.

Had delicious happy hour cocktails followed by a tasty selection of Texan bbq food - really good portions and great value too. Could have easily spent the whole evening in there enjoying the lovely atmosphere (if it wasn’t for the 10pm curfew!). A local gem. Will be back for sure!

Have been meaning to go here for sometime and so glad I did. Had the breakfast which was lovely and plentiful. The staff were super friendly and everything in place to make you feel safe in regards to social distancing. We had the discount due to the Eat Out scheme, but will return at anytime as well worth the visit as it has a lovely atmosphere

My first visit here since moving to Honor Oak in the summer. Sometimes places like this slip under my radar because I don't tend to go out for lunch locally, I only eat out if I'm out away from my place. But with family visiting I thought I'd the opportunity to show off my new local area with lunch out after a visit to the Horniman museum. It's small, cozy, has nice relaxing music on at a comfortable level. The service was a little slow, but we had time to kill and hey it's a Sunday afternoon. The service was friendly, though and the Full English delicious. I think you've gained new regular customers, we'll come back for evening cocktails sometime!

Visited for a lunch with daughter and grandson. Very nice cafe, with a small courtyard garden. Very accommodating to mothers with babies. On the day we visited there must have been half a dozen in the garden, all with prams. Food was very nice, fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend the Vegan Bowl, which was filling and delicious. They make a mean Bloody Mary and the coffee is good too. A nice spot for a tasty lunch or to while away some time over coffee.
