A wonderful Turkish restaurant, delicious food, real friendly staff, free parking and I'm definitely going back for more!! 😋🎯

Visited a Turkish restaurant in Bromley, London and was very pleased. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. The meat was cooked to perfection and the meze was particularly tasty. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable for London. Great place for those who love traditional Turkish dishes. I'll definitely be back!

I came here with my mom and we had the best late lunch! We split the atom (spicy yogurt dip), lahmacun, and beyti kebab. Everything was so delicious, the food was ready rather quickly, and the server was so kind to us. Will be back next time I’m in the area!! My credentials for this review? I’m Turkish!

I came here for a takeout this evening. I’ve not been here for a long while but ordered my usual - lamb doner wrap. The bread wrap was exactly the same as I last came here a homemade dorum which was really fresh! Unfortunately the amount of meat I got inside my wrap wasn’t worth the £8 I paid so I was disappointed, the taste of the meat was nice and also had flavour. Can’t 100% recommend coming here but can imagine portions inside the restaurant area being similar. I’m quite disappointed but not totally.

I ordered lamb shish and chicken shish all large sizes/portions and salads. The lamb was very salty, the chicken was uncooked almost raw, and salts was bitter and yellow, and the size of the portions small.I had to throw away everything. I'm not going back there anymore, not recommended at all.

This place is a bad. When I visited the place was swarming with flies and the counter was dirty. When I got home my chicken sish was raw in the middle and the salad was stale and bitter. The place was also dirty when I visited although it was busy. I wonder how many other people were served raw chicken. Also small portions for the price. Also doesn't come with rice. Shambles

What a local delight. Chilled and relaxed atmosphere serving superb food. The slow roast lamb and lamb saute were tender ands divine. Falafels, mouth watering !! Friendly and polite staff . Thanks Niel! Definitely worth another visit.

I swear this is the last time I’ll get a delivery from Turkuaz or go to eat at this place. Chose the former and ordered lamb chops, rice and salad. All arrived piping hot but that’s the only thing that I can say as a plus. Turkuaz used to be great - beautifully flavoured food and good presentation. Friendly staff who took pride. On the takeaway side, it’s as if the chefs don’t care. No real seasoning of the chops occurred - just some horrid tomato based oil brushed over the chops with salt to seal it on the grill. They were probably marinaded in the same tomato based marinade. Result? Bland and unappetising. Certainly not good. The rice (which seems to come with a few grains of sweetcorn thrown in for flavour) stood still like a gelatinous mound. All stuck together, if I cut it with my knife, it stood up by itself… and was completely devoid of flavour. Whomever cooks it should have used a rice cooker… The salad? Well, they’re generous with red cabbage, lettuce and onion. I counted x3 micro pieces of tomato - nearly undetectable. Barely any cucumber. The last time I had a doner wrap from Turkuaz, I was sorely disappointed. The last time we ate in the restaurant, we said we weren’t going back. But for the fact that it’s really well known and established, I wouldn’t go back after so many let downs on the food but once again I tried and today it was a fail. Horrible food. Threw two chops and the rice away. I definitely won’t order or go to Turkuaz again. I do not recommend.

Ordered a mixed grill came with the smallest portion of everything and set me back £40 plus food was cold.

Strood was crying out for a good restaurant, Turkuaz did not disappoint in fact they excelled.Food was brilliant, service was fantastic.Sonia,Bella were very friendly. Vanessa looked after us and her service was incredible. Highly recommend them.

I hadn't been here for over a year and used to enjoy going here. Owners must have changed as on this occasion the service was non existent, plates from starters removed but no cutlery replaced to eat mains until we asked. We asked for a jug of water which arrived but no glasses. After 10 minutes we had to ask for glasses. Took ages to clear table. The Turkish tea and coffee was awful. Do not recommend it. Only reccomend the lahmacun as takeaway.

Only the lahmacun was good, there was no interest in the customers, our plates waited on the table for an hour and no one came to pick them up. It's not that nice of a place to go. There was a piece of herb in the salad that came with the lahmacun. It was a very bad plate. At the restaurant we went to with our girlfriends yesterday, they treated the customers so indifferently that they talked as if they were making fun of them. Quite interesting. I found Beyti in the first dish I wanted, it had a lot of nerves in it and was not cooked. I had to cancel. There was quite a rush and when I asked for lahmacun there were herbs in the salad. That's it. I do not recommend

Great food, I really enjoyed everything we ordered. Freshly made to a high standard. I would suggest you book as it gets really busy. Parking is also limited, so maybe plan your arrival as the neighbouring streets have drives.

Specifically asked to come here for my birthday and I was not disappointed. The food and atmosphere were lovely, and I couldn’t recommend this place more. The Turkuaz Iskender was especially good.

Been to this restaurant on a number of occasions now and can't fault the staff the service but most of all the food. We went again this evening with family and children and as usual another lovely meal the lamb was so tender and food delicious as usual. we will defiantly be back.

Good quality food but you can’t pay a wrap £12. In the Farrington market at lunch time it’s £6-8, same quality ———— I downgraded to 1 star following the owner’s response as I went personally to get the chicken wrap and they overcharged me intentionally

Sadly I ended up with food poisoning following a takeaway order. I was really unwell. This happened to a family member many years ago so we opted for a non meat order and yet, I was left unable to look after my children. Thank goodness my husband was able to function better than I was.

Had my daughter's 21st birthday dinner last Saturday and I must say the customer service was 10 out of 10. There was 25 people at the dinner party and everyone was happy with the food and drinks. We will be back again....

A lunch time visit with my bestie. Food authentic Turkish very tasty and well portioned. Wide variety of choices. Service attentive without being intrusive. A little on the expensive side, £10 for a very small bottle of Prosseco but I guess it's a sign on the times. This wouldn't stop us going again though neither would it stop us recommending Turkuaz 👍

Great authentic Turkish cuisine. Not cheap but not OTT either. Easy parking but be careful of car park charges if you don't register your license plate number

Disappointed ☹️ Poor variety of salad, kebab meat dry & grisly. Quantity of food and price for online service is unsatisfactory. Bread & sauces good. It's a shame as I've visited your restaurant before, so was expecting the same quality with your online serve but unfortunately this was not received.

Worst kebab I have ever had. Might as well have thrown my money in the bin. Took a mouthful and could not eat anymore it was disgusting. Disappointed as I have read so many good reviews but I will never buy a takeaway there again.

Sorry despite the best efforts of the waiting staff and management , the lovely food. Our evening was ruined by a collective of Nigerians who clearly had booked for about 20 but then 40 turned up. They spent the evening arguing with the waiting staff about the food and lack of tables. Also we were sat near the kitchen and the waitresses kept bumping into my chair and some guy always shouting behind us .

Could not belive the service received on mother's day. I asked the waitress to butterfly my prawns so they would be cleaned of the veins..she said the do they usually do as that's what I always order. After waiting around 25 mins without even being offered any olives or bread whilst we waited Prawns came out uncleaned and the waiter told me they don't devein them. Which is not true as that's what I always order. He cancelled Such a shame my two boys booked 😢 the table for mothers Day for me as a treat I left hungry 😫 will not be going back ever again . Have been a loyal customer for over 8 years. Not anymore 👌

I haven't eaten out a restaurant for a long while so the price for me seemed on the high side, having checked other restaurants, this seems to be the norm. The food was excellent well presented, fresh and tasty.

Went for my dad's birthday tonight. AMAZING food, AMAZING service, extremely friendly made us feel comfortable and the food..yeah we've missed out on this hidden gem for too long. Cooked to perfection, a massive hats off to the chef. These people love their jobs and love making smiles even more. Please please please give them a try, it won't be the last time you hear from us! Amazing restaurant in this area.We have dinner there regularly and there is no better place to eat meat and eat baklava and tea! tastier than in Turkey! highly recommend!!! If you have never eaten baklava, then you need to go to this place👌

Assumed by the description on the site and price of £26.40 that the Mixed Grill (eg. "a selection of lamb cutlets" and other meats etc) would have fed two people. When it arrived, it was a meal for one (incl one lamb cutlet not plural as listed) and unlike most kebabs no rice to pad it out if could share for two people. One person had no meal then, so overall totally disappointed and felt ripped off. Could have got two individual kebabs elsewhere for less.

We popped in on a Friday night, it was busy and had a nice vibe, the food was good, very reasonable too, I had the mixed grill and my partner had the Lamb Ribs, the salad was really nice too and next door to a TFC so we grabbed a few authentic bits for home. Good place, good music, priced very well. I’m not drinking at the moment but next time I shall try the cocktails.

Just eat have the wrong items listed under the cold meze. We wanted what they had listed - the hot meze I believe (nothing was listed under this). The restaurant sent us their cold meze which wasn’t the items listed and when we called to explain, they realised it was a fault in the just eat website and kindly sent us the bits we were expecting. I’ve visited Turkuaz with my partner last night and it was our first experience in the restaurant and we loved it. The food was great and I highly recommend visiting if you’d like to try some nice Turkish food. They have a range of drinks as well as cocktails to pick from.

Have been here a few times now and keep coming back with friends. Fantastic food and service, atmosphere is top notch. Highly recommend!

Service was really lovely. Free parking which was a bonus. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy the food and we felt like it was over priced for what it was. We ordered the seabass, lamb cutlets and the veg pide as well as the cujuk. All not very tasty at all. The bread they served was very fresh though!

Great flavour food, though portions felt small Vs the price paid, I've definitely had similar for less but the taste was above average for a lamb shish. The staff and service were great, friendly, polite and professional. My only quibble for atmosphere is that they do the birthday celebrations, which brings in patrons for the experience, but for me feels a bit out of place for a smaller restaurant and became noisy and a distraction personally. The decor and overall feel of the restaurant is comfortable and pleasant. I'd recommend giving the restaurant a chance it is good, just be aware if you don't like loud birthday celebrating for a couple of minutes, unless that's what youre looking for! 🙃

We went for late dinner and staff was very attentive we got served within 5 mins, i ordered my favourite lahmachun and mix casserole from specials. My fav aubergine and yoghurt loved it!!! I lived in turkey for over a month. And today i was missing turkish food. Loved the taste and insane taste. Loveeeee it

Moez is not only a waiter, but also a comedian and creates a very nice dining atmosphere. Food is always good and to prove that, I have to drive 15 miles just to come here! Highly recommended 👌

Ordered kebab from here normally good quality but the chilli sauce they added was sweet barbecue tasted like spare rib sauce totally disgusting and completely ruined my meal. Won’t be coming here again

My family and I have been coming to eat here for around 15 years now. The food is always fresh, cooked to our tastes/dietary needs and really enjoyable. The staff are lovely and treat us like old friends, I'm always jealous when my mum and dad said oh we popped to the Turkish restaurant for lunch today. I love to see my mum and dad get hugs and kisses (my mum more than dad of course) when they arrive and leave. We have brought friends over the years abd they have always loved the food and atmosphere. Will come back soon.

Ordered with Uber Eats chicken wings and fries,got a so called chicken shish ,arrived in worse condition and simply inedible,went straight in to the bin! Maybe the restaurant is good i really don't like leaving bad reviews i think is my first time ,i also work in a restaurant for all my life but this was a bad experience!

Food - 10/10 reasonably priced, good portion sizes, cooked to perfection! Service - 10/10 the staff are soooooo nice! Friendly, helpful, funny and kind. Atmosphere - an all round lovely atmosphere. Birthday singing and dancing, belly dancer on a Friday and I think on a Saturday night too. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I love this restaurant and have done for years!
