Ayasofya in Lewisham

passing by yesterday.THIS RESTAURANT NO LONGER EXISTS AND IS CLOSED.It has been replaced by another establishment ,WHICH WASNT OPEN EITHER.i dont know if it is being refurbished

Fue un espolón de la decisión de momento para ir a Ayasotya algo para comer. Había leído en TripAdvisor que era bastante bueno y no nos decepcionó. Ambos decidimos por el menú ... El meze mixto de primer plato era casi una comida principal en sí mismo, una mezcla de frío y caliente con una cesta de pan casi nos llenó tanto. La parrillada mixta que siguió fue genial, una porción decente de cordero, pollo y alas con arroz y ensalada. Luego terminamos con chocolate fudge cake

We've had a lot of really good meals here. Each time we're greeted warmly by the friendly staff and served delicious food. The meat is always tender and really tasty, while the salads, breads, olives and desserts are always fresh and nicely presented.

El restaurante Ayasofya en Rushey Green es un moderno restaurante que sirve excelente, genuina cocina turca. Su almuerzo especial es asombrosa relación calidad-precio. El personal es amable y profesional, y le explicaremos platos para usted si no has encontrado antes. Es nuestro lugar favorito para una comida local.

Nos acaba de comer aquí de nuevo y lo disfrutamos.

We have just had a lovely lunch with friendly, polite and attentive service and very good food. The portions were generous and very well cooked.

Este nuevo restaurante en Catford es excelente. suculenta comida casera y de calidad. vino de la casa también era de muy buena calidad. Muy bonita decoración turca y limpio. Los precios eran buenos, y el personal muy amable. Nos dieron gratis pan y humous y aceitunas, y café después con algunos Turish delicia. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente para el día y para salir por la noche, y ya tenemos ganas de ir allí de nuevo.

having passed this 'new' place several times,i decided to 'pop in' for the 'lunchtime special'...it is located by a busy main road,had a few tables outside on the pavement.prices were ok and the 'adana kebab,rice and salad' option was no more than standard.with two efes beers,to aid digestion,i had a pleasant enough lunch.there are better kebabs available locally but at a higher price.it was tasty enough for me to consider it worthwhile to try again ,if passing but i would still take my friends elsewhere to my tried and trusted favourites

Vivimos localmente y decidimos ir a probar un nuevo restaurante.

I popped in as a single lady for a late lunch enticed by the special lunch offer. An oasis of calm in the hubbub of Catford Broadway. Excellent food, attentive professional service. Spotlessly clean. Can thoroughly recommend.

I believe this is a new restaurant in the area and noticed that it looked inviting so thought we would try this for a family meal. The menu is Mediterranean/Turkish and has a wide choice catering for all tastes, from authentic Turkish cuisine to Vegetarian and lighter salads. I also notice that they offer a short lunch menu which looks great value at £6.95.The owners were very welcoming and helped us with out menu decisions. We chose a range of meze starters and main courses and we all enjoyed our choices and a couple of us managed a little space for dessert. The staff were attentive and welcoming and the bill at the end was very favourable. I will certainly be recommending the Ayasofya to my friends and colleagues.
