Wanted coffee and cake went inside was told table service explained two were sitting outside. So would like a table for three. Which a harassed woman said oh upstairs well I have a bad knee so did not follow. When she returned I said can’t we sit here two tables were available but we would need to move a chair oh no she said. It was only having coffee and cake. So unobliging no customer service. I would dread to see her on a really busy day.

Usually lovely, but stale baguette on sale yesterday. Told the lady serving today (as I went to buy more bread) as she didn’t seem remotely interested that I was sold stale bread as fresh. At £5 for bread I expected better service, a simple sorry would have been good enough.

Would have been fine if I did not have to climb over peoples dogs which were taking up most of the floor if not sniffing round me. It’s worse than dealing with people who do not control their children. It’s a shame as this is a good cafe but spoiled by the sprawling dogs, might need to review your animal policy.

Had breakfast here whilst holidaying on the suffolk coast, dog friendly, wasn't too busy when we arrived on the Saturday. Mysrlf and my husband had the avacado on toast with poached eggs, 2 coffees. The sourdough toast was delicious, eggs perfectly cooked, relish and smashed avacafo perfect. Our friends joined us and got served straight away even though we'd just received our food, nothing was too much trouble. Started to get really busy abd people were being turned away. Beautiful food. No room for the gorgeous pastries/cakes etc but will return when we're over that way again.

Came here around 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning the cafe was probably half filled but once seated was filled up pretty quickly. There is an amazing selection of pastries which all looked amazing. Not selected on this occasion. Party of two we opted for the eggs on sourdough and the full English breakfast. Both were served quickly and were of high quality. The full English was was a great choice albeit arriving not as hot as I would have expected, this did not detract from a overall positive dining experience.

A warm and windy Aldeburgh afternoon , time for a cuppa , and a croissant “How would you like the croissant ?” “ Just butter thanks” The service was good, waitress friendly. But the served croissant was sadly very hard as though made much much earlier than at the time it was ordered. However despite the praise for quick service , when the bill was produced there was a separate charge for the butter ! Not necessarily the amount , just the principle of separately charging for it !

Takeaway Cheesecake. Very disappointing. Bought a Lemon and Raspberry and an Orange and Raspberry Cheesecake. The Lemon one was really a layered sponge with layered mousse and very little flavour. The Orange one had a biscuit base, as you would expect, but was a wedge of mousse rather than the traditional 'cheese' you associate with cheesecake. Was also very bland. At £8.80 they are also very expensive - based on taste alone, would not have wanted to pay £1 for them both. No opportunity to leave a review with Two Magpies directly.

Came here based on an apparent great reputation and amazing food. Disappointing. Food was below average. Sausage rolls overpowered by garlic and not even very tasty. Got some heated up and some to take away and the ones heated were warm outside and cold in the middle. Cinnamon swirls were hard and tasted stale. In fact all the pasty on every item we ordered was stale. Most of the order ended up in the bin. All the food looks very nice visually but the taste does not justify the cost, not even remotely. Service was average. Atmosphere average. Overall would not recommend. We prefer the bakery bits from our local supermarket, which says a lot for the quality.

Stopped for coffee and a morning pastry. Pain au chocolat was huge and clearly baked fresh. Had fun looking at a large selection of beautiful cakes and pastries. Oat milk cappuccino was nice enough. Service was friendly if a little on the slow side. Only let down was the grubby walls and floor (I know it was busy but given the high prices you'd expect it to be cleaner) One small toilet in constant use adjacent to people eating which was also a little off-putting and people had to queue on top of diners and kept leaving the door open which was a little bit 'yuk'. Otherwise, a nice spot.

Really disappointed by this. The queues out the door (and cost) suggested it would be great. But my sausage roll was horrible - though the pastry was delicious the sausage was awful, super garlicky and far too big a lump of meat. The dog had half the sausage and yet I’m still burping it up hours later. Husband’s Moroccan veggie one was delicious however. Also: chocolate ginger brownie was very average and couldn’t taste the ginger at all. Bread and butter pudding slice was nice but tasted of fruit cake, not B&B pudding. Totally mediocre and £14 for four items.

Called in here a couple of times during our short stay nearby. Service was very good and my first latte was replaced after it wasn’t hot enough. However, the second latte was so perfect that it actually led to a third one (second one really!), along with a mouth-watering lemon slice! The lemon slice was utterly delicious, but had quite a sharp, tangy taste, with actual lemon peel which may not be to everyone’s liking (my adult daughter didn’t like it). However, there is a really wide selection of cakes and pastries so something for everyone really. Highly recommended for great coffee and wonderful cakes and pastries.

We had very high expectations and saved our visit to the last day. Looks very appealing and the service was prompt and pleasant. I felt that in an attempt to be “posh” some basics were over looked. Streaky bacon needs to be crispy and sausages with tough skins, the eggs were clearly free range but presentation was poor. My biggest complaint was the toilet honestly it was 0930 and it was filthy. Needs a re-decoration and at very least cleaned regularly by someone who knows how. Sorry guys fell short in our opinion.

We popped in on Tuesday and what a disappointment. We walked in and the service started so well with greetings and smiling faces. We took our seats and placed our order. The place was empty and no customers after us. We sat above the till area so could see and hear the staff. All but one staff member vanished through the door behind the counter. We waited quite a long time for three coffees and a tea, then had to wait even longer for our cakes. The server turned the tray on its side over our table after putting the drinks down but there was liquid on the tray which was now over the table. My wife had a cheese scone which looked great but was heavy dry and tasteless. My daughter had the cheesecake which was absolutely disgusting the top was a think layer of gelatin. I had the fudge cake which was like eating brick dust. My son had a frisbee, I mean cookie. The staff need sacking, while we were there a lad came from behind us with a trug of clean teapots carrying a water bottle in his mouth. We now know to avoid.

We found the food disappointing and over priced. We have eaten at other Two Magpies but found this visit did not meet expectations. I ordered the Tacos which were labeled as vegan on the menu, but they were not, they could be if the cheese was removed. The tacos were basic at best, the 'charred" broccoli was barely cooked let alone charred. The main flavour was burger sauce. The dish was small expensive and lacked protein. Some black beans would be an improvement. My partner was more impressed with their dish. However, we asked for all the food to be vegan as my partner is lactose intolerant but based on how ill they were later, I think one of the sauces/condiments/dishes had milk in it.

I'd looked forward to trying the Two Magpies, after hearing good things, but was left feeling rather disappointed, sadly. There were 10 of us, and we split into two groups to make seating easier, which was fine. The staff were all friendly & welcoming, but some of the dishes were lacklustre. Fish tacos & sausage rolls had good reviews from those who ordered, but the smoked haddock chowder had very little taste & very little fish in it. Sandwiches ok, but again nothing to write home about. With prices at the higher end of the market, I'd expected more somehow. Don't think we'll be making a return visit.

Went with a few friends today who had been before & recommended the place. The glazed donuts in the window looked big & delicious, the one I got given in my bag was about half the size which was disappointing. My husband ordered a cinnamon swirl, again it looked delicious but was so dry & hard. We took it back to ask the lady if they were freshly made, she squeezed a few in the window with tongs & said they are all like that & the middle will be soft…..it wasn’t. My friends sugar donut was quite oily. Mocha was yummy. Cheese twist was fresh & yummy. Sausage rolls were divine!!!! Ordered a 2nd mocha & latte later on, they were both not great-made by a different server. Bit hit & miss. Went at 10:30am

Food ok but paper cups, paper milk carton, paper box for the food wooden knives and forks, plastics cups for the children. Mcdonalds is actually slightly more upmarket than this place. Would be fine if it cost the same as mc Ds!

Called in whilst visiting area. Great service throughout. Food was delicious and served with a smile and very little waiting. Took advantage of the offers available. Staff were attentive and very pleasant. Well worth a visit next time we are in the area. It's a credit to Woodbridge.

Went here with my family including an eight month old baby in a buggy and told we were not allowed in with him. Barmaid very unhelpful and told us 'it was the law'. Choose somewhere else is my advice.

Totally amazing. Super staff who are efficient, super smiley and gave eye to eye contact. Tables super clean and the best staff I have come across recently. What a breath of fresh air you all are. No passive aggressive just cheery staff who want to give you a very pleasant experience. A very big bowl of real porridge. You are all amazing Thank you
