The coffee was absolutely perfect – rich, smooth, and just the right temperature. The food was equally impressive, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the area – I'll definitely be coming back for more!

Nice place to sit and friendly staff and good service . However my wife and daughter ordered quiche of the day and the pastry was undercooked and raw and the filling had to much meat not enough cheese and egg. Also the coleslaw was like you get from a no frills counter packet at a supermarket. Thought it was a bit overpriced for the quality of food you receive as well.

Normally a big fan of this little coffee shop. The breakfast left me feeling rather disappointed. The quality of ingredients compared to the price does not match. The eggs were watery and the sausages undercooked and poor quality. Such a shame as not a cheap breakfast. Expected more and won’t be hurrying back.

Overpriced and poor quality How can you charge £4.50 for plain toast with butter? I don't mind paying over the odds for quality food but this wasn't! Cheapest, thinnest, bread going and only 2 little pats of butter. Same applied to the coffee and the tea. Poor, cheap quality No wonder the place was empty.

Went to our daughter-in-laws baby shower, the tables were set out interconnecting so no-one felt left out. We had afternoon tea which was lovely. There was an abundance of different finger sandwiches although none were just ham which would've been our granddaughters choice. I should've requested some when I put in our order weeks ago, my fault! We each had our own pot of fresh leaf tea, no teabags here! There was a cake stand for each group of three. The coffee shop was easily accessible, clean and very pleasant.

Wonderful location with a duck pond and outdoor seating, very friendly, but colourful staff ! The food was basic but expensive. The salad garnish consisted of half a cherry tomato and three tiny wilted lettuce leaves. The bread for sandwiches and the filling were of poor quality and the coffee was £3.50, when the usual is £2.50. Overpriced tiny pieces of cake, so we abstained. Such a shame as we would have gone back if the quality was better. Clean cafe with clean toilets.

Myself, wife and daughter had breakfast here today. Lovely setting and friendly staff. We eat out regularly. Unfortunately the breakfast we had at the Stables was very poor, and expensive for the quality of the ingredients used. My wife and daughter had bacon baps,it was served in a cheap white bap which was so wet and soggy that it broke up when eating. The bacon was also cold. My scrambled eggs on toast with bacon and mushrooms was also cold and the mushrooms were cooked in old oil. The toast was also soggy and uneatable ,and for the price I do not expect powdered eggs. Probably one of the worst breakfast experiences we have had. Will not be going back.

We love this cafe on so many levels. It’s a very peaceful setting, with a duck pond amongst the outdoor space, which adds an extra layer of calmness. The owner is so friendly and her team are a credit to her, so polite and welcoming. And finally the food, on this particular visit we had breakfast and chose the French toast with bacon and maple syrup…what can I say, I can’t wait to have it again, just so tasty! And finally the cakes, all home baked and absolutely scrumptious. If you are looking for a new cafe to visit, you can’t go wrong with this little gem…tell your friends, the owner deserves lots of success! Thanks again for going a great job!

I loved this café; a beautiful setting and good choice for lunch. Lovely home made cakes etc. It's a delight to sit outside near the duckpond on a beautiful summer's day and while away a few hours . However I do struggle with mobility and every time I venture out it's with trepidation, hoping that I won't have to walk far and that I'll easily find a comfortable spot to sit. Last time I came here if was quite full with only two tables free - one large table and one small pushed against the wall. I didn't feel able to navigate to the small table do my don and I sat at the larger table. After sitting for a few minutes we were asked to move across the café to the smaller table 'in case' a larger group came in. It was a struggle but I did it. We had to move the table a little to get my crutches in. We ordered and were then asked to move AGAIN to allow better access to the crafts. This meant I now had my back to the drinks fridge and was continually having to shuffle around. Being asked to move once when every movement is painful is not nice but TWICE? I do like the cafe but will be more circumspect in future and only go in if I can see an outside table free before getting out of the car. Please be more considerate of people's personal situation before asking them to move around the premises.

Altogether a most attractive place to linger for a while on a sunny day. Shade from trees if that's what you need. Inside looked fine too. Wanted to take my bestie out for afternoon tea for her birthday & made the mistake of not booking anywhere. As it was a Wednesday I honestly didn't think it would be necessary but after ringing around several places in suffolk, I was starting to feel despondent, they all wanted at least 24hrs notice & some 48hrs & it didn'tmatter that it was my friends birthday. Then I remembered a coffee shop my niece had taken me to before and remembered how accommodating the owner had been previously. Expecting another no, I gave them a call but even though they do prefer 24hrs notice, the young man on the phone said he would ask his boss, especially as only 2 of us. Less than an hour later we were sitting down to the most amazing & delicious afternoon tea. Definitely recommend this place. We ended up taking a box home with each of us, as there was so much to eat & at £20 per person, it is one of the cheapest afternoon teas too but definitely didn't lack quality. Thanks to Caz & her staff, for helping me make Marie Whitby's birthday special 💖

Very friendly service, and extremely pleasant surroundings. Alas, the £7.50 panini was like a brief sandwich from Tesco that had been whacked into a Brevile toaster. The side of coleslaw was cheap cash and carry fare. Not really sure how it was worth £7.50? could have been a bad run, but the £3.50 coffee was over extracted and bitter. sorry, hopefully just a bad day

Lovely food at this little coffee shop at the edge of town. I really enjoyed the quiche on the specials board - absolutely delicious. The tea was properly made, and the coleslaw was yummy. I really enjoyed the lady running the place, who was a fierce and scary. The food came out quickly and more people coming in were sternly warned not to sit in the corner. The food was really good quality, however when the afternoon tea arrived it was nothing like my order I had requested. I was asked if I was happy, I couldn’t be honest at the time and say how disappointed we was as it would have spoilt my brothers 70th birthday. Hence followed it up with an email to be told the owner hadn’t made a note of my requirements and have a good weekend!! Not quite the response for £72!

We arrived early for breakfast, just a few customers sitting in the garden and 30 degree heat. We ordered 2 full english breakfasts and 3 drinks - our bill was just under £32. Our hot and cold drinks were delivered to the outside table but we were told by 3 different staff that we could not have a glass for our bottled fruit juice as they had limited glasses on site and these were reserved for milkshakes and they were busy! We were offered a paper cup and straw as an alternative - how old did they think we were! A basic slice of cheap brown toast arrived (though granary was on the menu), followed some minutes later by 1 breakfast, then the 2nd. breakfast came later …. A small and poor quality portion of greasy mess consisting of: 1 broken egg, watery beans, 2 barely cooked sausages and 3 slices of cold streaky fatty bacon - at £11 each it was a total disappointment and rip off. It was akin to the ‘greasy spoon roadside cafe’ - we would have had better food and experience at the local supermarket cafe.

Been here two or three times before and had a couple of breakfasts and on one occasion a cream tea, and always came away very satisfied. This time however, it didn't go well. 4 of us for breakfast. More than enough staff, too few customers, so plenty of time to cook a breakfast each and serve them together but none of the breakfasts arrived at the same time as another. The owner (I guess) had obviously got out of bed the wrong side, and had a poor attitude. She served the breakfasts pushing past people like her life depended on it, persistently bellowing "excuse me, excuse me." Her attitude had obviously caught the attention of 2 other staff members who were obviously rolling there eyes about her behaviour behind her back! A word of advice to the staff too, if your going to discuss your thoughts about a certain customer, make sure it's out of earshot of your other customers. You never know who may be listening, and how many repeat customers it may cost you! Finally Mrs "owner", when an employee is in the way, don't shout MOVE at them, giving them reason to look around the customers sheepishly to see who noticed, it's not a good look! After today's experience I'm not sure how you retain staff or customers. The price for what we received was shocking. Having had good food here previously I didn't mind paying £11 for a good veggie breakfast £3 for a good cup of tea £8 for a good breakfast bap £4 for a good cup of coffee, the only issue was, none of it was that good -certainly not worth that sort of money. The owner needs to have a look around locally at prices. I sincerely sypathise with the owners of these types of establishment at the moment with food and energy prices going through the roof but the owner should really be managing staffing levels instead of charging its customers excessive prices.
