We had an amazing evening at this place. Stefano was our very friendly waiter. Outstanding croquetas, iberico pork and oxtail. Bit the real kicker was the tiramisu....

Une expérience extrêmement décevante. Le service était très long et les plats chers pour la quantité et la qualité servi, certaine boisson étaient même coupés à l’eau. Je déconseille fortement sauf si vous avez envie de dépenser de l’argent dans le vide.

Everything we had was amazing but the Octopus was incredible, I have never tasted anything better. The service was fantastic and the prices resonable for the quality. I cannot wait to go again.

Nice restaurant and driven by the good reviews we went there for a personal special evening. Even we reviewed tripadvisor and homepage we did not were aware that it is more or less a "Tapas bar". Even the food is a good quality the prices for "main courses" 25 or 29 Pounds does not reflect the reality. 2 persones need at least 3-4 plates which sums up easily to 150 Pounds with one dessert, 0,5l wine et 1 bottle of water.

I normally would not leave a bad review for this type of situation but management handled our situation so badly it’s worth mentioning. We ordered the tuna ceviche, The first bite made it very obvious the fish was not fresh, it was aweful. I know my fish, this one was bad! I respectfully told the waitress we’d like tor return the fish, She says « let me call my manager » The manager comes, we explain, he answers « the fish is fresh, if you don’t like the dish just say it, but don’t say it’s not fresh » We insist it’s not fresh, we won’t eat it. He leaves. At this point the owner comes, or another manager. Same speech and he even adds « if the tuna was not fresh it would be brown » Ummm okkkkkk!?!? Anyways long story short we return the dish which btw is FULL uneaten. The rest of the tapas were good, no complaints. End ot the night we get the bill they charged the $30 for it. To us that was handled poorly, the scene was unnecessary and the charge was very unprofessional. We go to exit the restaurant and a couple near the door says excuse me… They ask if we had a problem with one of the dishes. We say yes. They say « was it the tuna? » Yes « We returned ours as well, it tasted so fishy and aweful, but when the manager came we asked if anyone else returned the tuna this even and they said no » That says it all. To the restaurant owner: Had you not charged us or embarrassed us we would not have left this review, we understand that maybe the fish huy sold you unfresh fish, it happens, but the problem is the way you handled it. It was embarrassing, unprofessional and honestly unethical. So based on all this, I would not recommend this restaurant.

This Restaurant deserve a Michelin star for the service professional and the Amazing food!!!!! Atmosphere Is perfect and the ambiente Is vcosy and warm!!!

The restaurant is small and set out as a small local restaurant in Italy with some Boho touches. The menu looks nice with a tasting menu option (I’ll come back to that later). We ordered a wine which we enjoyed and the small tasting platter, the first thing we noticed was that all tasting menus have been reduced from 8 dishes to 7 (stealth increase). The first few dishes were nice, the Burrata was a highlight, we finished with the Onglet steak. Unfortunately this was very small for 2 people, had sinew through the meat and was raw, I like medium rare and will eat rare but this was blue. We asked for the meat to be cooked through and was delivered back 5 mins later as a medium rare steak. We ate what we could around the sinew and asked for the bill. This is where the rouse is uncovered……our 7 courses were listed in the menu and came to £84. We were charged 2 x £49 (£98). I challenged with the manager why the tasting menu is more expensive than the individual dishes we ate. This makes no sense as we could order a la carte for less money. The manager correctly pointed out that we had two courgette flowers and the bill only showed 1, however this is £8 so we’re still £6 short! It appears at this point the manager felt we were just trying to get a discount. They offered a discount we said it doesn’t matter we won’t be back. They gave us a £5 discount off a £140 bill! BE CAREFUL IF YOU VISIT TWISTED. Definitely order individual dishes and save the phantom money they collect.

We love local to this restaurant and this was our second visit. The food is delicious. If you are price conscious I’d opt for a different place to eat Tapas because some of the dishes are quite expensive but this is reflected in the quality of the produce. The acoustics down stairs can be a bit iffy and I definitely felt I was in the cheap seats down there. Service looked to be better upstairs and that’s no disrespect to our waitress who was very nice but had a lot of covers down there. If I went again I’d want to be upstairs for sure.

A lovely & relaxed neighbourhood Spanish restaurant with mostly excellent food (I would however avoid the rather tasteless pollock fish included in our tasting menu). The prices are however a little eye-watering.

A very decent tapas restaurant with a fairly simple menu. The octopus, tuna, wagyu beef were all great. We went with some vegetarian friends and the selection for them was somewhat restrictive. Good service although the portions were a bit small for the price.

We had such a special night at Twist. As vegetarians, Fabio had designed a perfect taster menu for us and accompanying wine flight. His passion for good food and wine pairings is clear. Lovely atmosphere and surroundings, unique flavours from different regions, it was awesome....

A really lovely evening here with friends.. I had the courgette flowers which were delicious, a nice ‘twist’ with a touch of mint and lime added with the ricotta..The homemade ravioli also lovely...the cheesecake for desert was exceptionally good..also if you are interested in pairing...

Twist has changed to being an Italian restaurant. Still with a twist - Basque and Korean influenced subtly included. Great pasta, starters and an amazing cheesecake with a caramel crust.

This is such a brilliant neighbourhood restaurant with stunning food, well served and presented. The wine list is interesting and varied. Have been several times and it is consistently excellent and everyone we have taken there has been very impressed.

Second time at Twist and it did not disappoint. Truly great, innovative food, excellent service, lovely relaxed vibe. The corgette flowers were, again talked about for days. Can't wait to go again.

Un poco de francés y mucho italiano (o quizás al revés), mezclado con muchos otros sabores de una amplia gama de fuentes. Comenzamos con la cantidad asignada de platos pequeños y luego seguimos pidiendo más, principalmente porque cada uno era mejor que el anterior y queríamos probar uno más. Se siente un poco aislado en esa parte de Marylebone, pero vale la pena el viaje. Definitivamente regresaríamos. Uno de los mejores lugares nuevos que probamos el año pasado. Buen ambiente bistro.

Londres tiene miles de restaurantes, y vamos a quizás una docena de lugares nuevos cada año. Raramente me mueven para revisarlos, pero Twist merece ser llamado. Es un lugar discreto, bastante pequeño, en una de las avenidas menores de Marlybone. Obviamente, se corrió la voz, porque este lugar zumbó en un día laborable pocos minutos después de abrir a las 6 pm. Cada mesa estaba reservada. Sigue la nueva tendencia de los restaurantes londinenses de centrarse en compartir platos. Con pocas excepciones, los gustos eran únicos y gloriosos. Nos alejamos de la carne (aunque parecía excepcional en otras mesas). Para resaltar nuestros platos: los pimientos de padrón, el pulpo, el tártaro de atún de aleta amarilla, la coliflor en salsa de coco y maní, y especialmente las flores de calabacín frito rellenas de ricota. Dicho esto, los precios reflejan la calidad, y a veces no. 4 por 4 pequeñas rebanadas de pan y aceite de oliva, pensé, era exagerado. Tampoco estaba seguro sobre el especial del día: el atún rojo, una especie en peligro de extinción. No encontré nada en el sabor de las cuatro pequeñas piezas del tamaño de un sashimi para garantizar el costo de casi 20 o la culpa de comer este magnífico y raro pescado.

Just a lovely dinner at an unassuming but fancy place with extremely attentive service and beyond amazing food and drinks. The T Bone special was out of this world, but the vegetarian dishes are quite nice as well! Our cocktails were smooth and lovely balanced, and we got a bottle of wine that paired well with the food. An awesome experience!

I gave Twist a tough brief in that my booking involved a high profile person and they had to find an extra table for people accompanying her at short notice when they were already full. They managed this with a minimum of fuss and provided exemplary service, wine and food which made for an outstanding evening. In effect, we had a tasting menu as we took their recommendation for a succession of dishes from the sharing menu which were all of the very highest standard - someone very talented is at work in the kitchen. I&#039;ll certainly go back again.

Pensavamo di trovarci in un tapas bar tradizionale e invece siamo stati deliziati da un menu davvero raffinato e particolare, con abbinamenti ricercati ma non pretenziosi e piatti gustosissimi presentati con molta cura. A tutto ciò si aggiunga la gentilezza e professionalità del servizio...e la ricetta per una serata ben riuscita è completa!!

A Italian friends always told me to try out this restaurant in Marylebone where Italian traditions meets Asian,and Spanish influences and to be honest works really well,a great selection of tapas really made us a experience in texture and flavour,not cheap but worth every single penny’s is a place where we can tasted that everything is made from scratch and with love a real jam!!We will be back for more taste of this delicious restaurant Grazie Twist

Very convivial atmosphere with well presented and crafted dishes. Staff were a little officious. Requests for additional bread and olive oil were overcharged and unnecessary on top of a fairly hefty bill. I wouldn't go again even though I am a local!!

A nice meal. Nothing out of the ordinary though. Extremely overpriced for what it was. We had 5 dishes between us, which was plenty. We ordered two of the prawns, thankfully, as this meant we had one large prawn each (£9 each). The service was faultless and the ambience was great.

Recommended by a colleague. Not disappointed. Excellent in every way. Will definite be going again.

Great food in a casual environment- not the greatest service but worked out in the end :)

I will return and will recommend to friends, but only if I could be assured that I will not get seated at one of the worst tables in the restaurant. We were tucked so close to the bar on one side and other diners on the other that we could barely move. On a positive note, we were told we needed to be out of our table in 2 hours, and we stayed for as long as we wanted, but the restaurant was not full, thus the allowance . Our waiter was charming and the food was incredibly delicious. Try the cabbage and the cauliflower sides - they were the tastiest preparations of both vegetables I have ever tasted. Grilled pepper starter , scallops, and tuna tartare all delicious. The beet salad was just OK.

It was an amazing time again here. The food and the service was incredible. I love to be here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I always book the table next to the open kitchen. Can not wait to go back again. ☺️

Upon arrival I was 10 minutes early and was told in no uncertain terms that the restaurant wasn’t open and I should leave (I assume by a member of the kitchen staff who was eating his dinner in the window of the restaurant). Not a good start obviously, but I persevered with the booking on the premise that ‘things can only get better’. I was wrong.

Uno de nuestros aspectos más destacados durante los últimos tres años en nuestras visitas anuales a Londres ha sido la cena en Twist. Lamentablemente, la comida de anoche fue una decepción. El servicio fue, como siempre, excelente. Sin embargo, la comida de anoche no impresionó. Las chuletas de cordero estaban muy cocidas, la bavette de carne estaba desagradablemente masticable. Las gambas, a las 9. 50 cada uno, fueron decepcionantes. El enchapado creativo habitual era inexistente. Salimos tristes, pero con la esperanza de que la cena de anoche fue una mala noche para la cocina, y una excepción a la norma.

I can&#039;t recommend Twist enough the food is brilliant. I have been here a few times now and it never disappoints - every dish is so well crafted with wonderful flavours and superb ingredients. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and the sharing style food creates a brilliant talking point and immense shared enjoyment.

I&#039;ve been to Twist before. I was not disappointed with the originality of cooking. Very interesting food and tasty food. However I did leave hungry even after sharing 5 plates and a side dish. The prices appear to have gone up and the serving sizes gotten smaller from the last year that I was there.

Thoroughly enjoyable meal which capped off a great trip to the capital. Twist offers a real dining experience and considering its location and the quality of food on offer its also pretty good value for money indeed!<br /><br />The service was great, starting as soon as you came through the door, the hostess was very friendly and explained the way that the meals will be brought one at a time in order to provide a really special dining experience. The menu is relatively small but that means that what comes out from the kitchen is exceptional.

Don’t go if you are in a hurry as we had to ask more than a couple of times when dishes/puddings/coffee was coming - the staff were charming although not apologetic about the delays between dishes ostensibly for eating around the same time. The food was extremely tasty though and a friendly ambiance about the place.

A twist on tapas..resonates well with the name of the restaurant. The food was fantastic!

I have been at Twist few time already and every time is a surprise. Always new dishes in the board . Today we had a venison TArtare, simply delicious perfect seasoned and hiramasa carpaccio with truffle dressing just super fresh and so delicate. Then stuffed courgette flower always the best in town.

The food was very good and very nicely presented - good atmosphere and very attentive service. The restaurant was full and had a good &#039;vibe&#039; but was not noisy.

This place seems to be trying to get into the sharing plate space like Ottolenghi and Scully. Well it is miles away from those places.

The service was very friendly and the venue warm/inviting. Overall the food was very good. We ate a special cut steak which was served with a flaming bunch of sage and lamb chops both of which were delicious. Some of the vegetables i personally found a little lacking in flavour. For example they served us roast potatoes with aioli. But the aioli was not very heavily seasoned and seemed to contain little or no garlic. We ordered a side of charred cabbage which had a raspberry scent added when served at the table. This seemed more about theatre than actual flavour. We also had some craft Spanish beers by the bottle all of which were tasty.<br /><br />So in summary it’s a pretty expensive place. They have the basics down but I think their vegetables need some stronger more interesting seasonings. I would return there for another meal and the rest of our party thought it would be worth another visit.

Suggested by friends my self and my husband we dine at Twist last weekend and we really enjoyed food and service at the top and honestly was a wile that we dint have a experience like we had a Twist as a casual restaurant is very high level of service and food we love the sharing concept and all the dishes as described as tapas to be honest very decent size compering to other tapas restaurant,our waitress suggested and guided us how to choose and how to enjoy dish by dish a really tasting adventure on texture and flavors!
