Twelve in Sefton

What an amazing night we had at Twelve and what- pleasure to meet Paulo the Chef and owner. From start to finish everything was so nice the fusion Paulo do on is dishes is really something. Well done to all the team and thanks Paulo for letting me try wagyu, was out of this world. Good luck or your next venture ! M.

Paulo is super friendly and an awesome chef. Tasting menu and seafood tasting menu were both excellent. Combining Portuguese and Japanese flavours is an art and he is an artist!

Wow, what an amazing experience. My wife and I decided to try this restaurant after reading reviews. Fantastic relaxing ambiance throughout our visit. Totally un rushed, food freshly cooked to order, wonderful flavours. Paulo, the owner and chef comes out to his guests and explains everything and asks if you have any questions. We started with a complimentary white port shot and ordered a starter and main course each. My salt and pepper chicken was easily the best I’ve eaten anywhere and our mains were exceptionally tasty. We had no room for dessert but they looked incredible. We washed our meals down with a nice Portuguese red and had a red port on the house after our meal. All in all an amazing experience. This restaurant, although having been in Southport for 10 years seems to be a bit of a Hidden Gem. Excellent freshly prepped food by Paulo, great staff, ambience, and Paulo is up for coming to ‘front of house’ and having a chat with the diners, lovely guy, excellent Chef, great restaurant…try it!!

Dined on a Saturday night and had the fabulous vegan tasting menu. The flavours were fantastic and there was plenty of food (they very kindly offered us more, but there was no way we could fit it in). It was lovely to chat with the owners (I assume?) and hear the chef's fantastic ideas for more vegan options. The house white wine was very drinkable. The only thing I think could be improved is maybe a vegan dessert option in addition to ice cream.

Ive been on twelve last Saturday with my family, and I can say for sure that was the best restaurant I’ve ever been in my life , amazing food , the environment was so relaxing , amazing to put your phones aside and enjoy of a good conversation. The food is something that you won’t forget ever in your life. Paulo the chef and owner is amazing giving us so many options. 10 🌟 for the amazing staff. I’ll defensively going back.

Wonderful evening and meal in a small and amazingly friendly restaurant. The food was excellent as was the service. The restaurant only has 24 covers so the attention paid to us was fantastic without being overwhelming. I had scallops in lobster sauce followed by teriyaki salmon both were amazing and cooked to perfection. My meal was finished off with a pastel de nata and espresso, Fantastic! I highly recommend Twelve Fusion and will be back, it’s a little gem!

This is easily the best restaurant in Southport in my humble, opinion ⭐️ Food is so tasty and fresh and there’s such a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Love the generous sized portions too and personalised service from the owner 👍🏼 I couldn’t decide which sauce to accompany the scallops so I was given both, one was a soy sauce with chilli and the other a creamy seafood sauce which I enjoyed dipping between the two as really complimented each other! The flavours with the pork belly n fried rice were just perfect 👌🏼 My husband went for the salt n pepper chicken to start and fillet of steak with chunky chips for main which were equally as delicious 😋 — eating dinner at Twelve Fusion Southport.

I have had two outstanding meals in my life where I know the chef is and who have provided food that I will remember forever. The first was my wedding lunch at The Art School and then last night (Monday 11 December) I was served at Twelve Fusion in Southport the most amazing meal. Paulo and Ben hosted perfection in food and service. We originally went for the vegan tasting menu but Paulo offered fish dishes as it became clear we would be happy with that. What came was a compendium of dishes and flavours and wine and chat from Paulo and Ben that made the meal the best experience. I cannot recommend highly enough this amazing, small, under known restaurant. I want to tell the world about it. Please.go. please share. Please make this the sensation it deserves to be.

Wow! We searched for the best restaurants in Southport and Twelve was in the top rated. We liked the sound of the fusion take, well, we were not disappointed! From the minute we walked in the door Paulo was the most warm and welcoming host, he asked what we liked, seen is to our seat and we immediately had the best shot of port. We went for the taster menu, from start to finish it was fantastic, with a beautiful white wine to accompany it was and shots provided by Paulo. We went to Twelve last night after seeing a review elsewhere. We had the taster menu and it was great. Paulo the chef/owner made us feel so welcome, asked what we liked,made recommendations and came out to check all was what we wanted. It was. It wasn’t busy but should have been busier. Over priced, over rated. Food very ordinary. Restaurant was cold, one poor group constantly closing the door, not for us.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. Paulo makes you feel so welcome and can't do enough for you. He comes out of the kitchen regularly checking your meal is okay. He seems so dedicated to his business. It was the best restaurant experience we have ever had and will be back. Thank you Paulo and the lovely boy that served us.

t's always good news when we find good-tasting and superior quality dishes in Southport. Twelve Fusion Kitchen is the best example I've visited in recent times. An absolute gem of a restaurant in Southport. We came for our anniversary having read great reviews already for this place. The food was amazing and the chef/owner is actually Portuguese. Paulo is a lovely man, very chatty and nothing was too much trouble. They were very attentive with food and drinks, even asked if we wanted seconds! There was a lovely ambiance to the place, very relaxing, cosy and the music was lovely and tranquil. We would absolutely come back here, there's a very personal feel to the place and Paulo said himself that he doesn't really do social media so we need to help spread the word because its a super little place .👌Thank you so much Paulo and will definitely be seeing you again.
