Turtle Bay in Warwick

I usually love Turtle Bay, I've been to many over the country but this one in Leamington is an absolute blot to the chain. We had table booked for 8pm, we arrived just before 8 and greeted by the manager informing us that there maybe a delay with food coming out but that it will be worth the wait and just buy drinks while we wait. We waited over an hour and still no food, we got drinks but no food. At 55 mins we were told just another 10 mins for our food, 15 mins later the poor waiter comes over to deliver the bad news that our food hadn't been prepared as one dish wasn't available but no one told us this we had to ask where our food is. The manager should have told us this but he was very cowardly and told the waiter to delivery this news. We asked to speak to the manager but he mysteriously had disappeared. We praisedand thanked the waiter for telling us but the manager is weak willed and not a people person by throwing the staff under the bus. We were extremely annoyed, disappointed and hungry. We walked out. 😡 I would like a response to this review from the manager or someone in higher position. This is unbelievable and unacceptable customer service and behaviour.

A group of us visiting chose to eat at turtle bay for dinner and it was great! Music playing was a good vibe and food was incredible. I personally had the jerk platter and shared but my colleagues had a few other foods and loved it. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the ribs were fall off the bone. We also enjoyed two of the shareable appetizers (regular and veggie) and everything was delicious.

Came out for my birthday and was wantin the goat curry that I got when I was younger. Better then I remembered, class service and halloumi was mint.

My mates were overcharged in a so called happy hour, which meant to give half priced drinks but ended up paying fully price. On top of this the food was unbelievably dry. Dont go here you’re better off with McDonald’s 🤣😂

Food was tasty & enjoyable. Staff were friendly especially the younger lad who was collecting the plates and came after wed eaten to ask if we wanted another drink. Portions aren't the most generous & our puddings took twice as long to come out as the mains which was very strange. Would return though if in the area.

Friendly staff over compensated for the poor food. Squid though advertised as dry I was thankful I had a meat knife to cut it apart. Halloumi was just soaked in jerk sauce not sure it was even cooked. Ordered cocktail as happy hour but not sure it was the rum we ordered, Koko rum as tasted different. Also dirty glass so reordered but wasn’t given a ‘free’ glass as good gesture. First time there but won’t go back again….shame as we were looking forward to the tasty food in the menu :(

Poor service - 2 mains came out with the starters ! Their vegan ice cream is vile. No regular ice cream choice just Vegan. Its not Jamaican its a weird fusion now. Better places to eat .

The staff are really welcoming and the service was good. No complaints about the food and drink either. All in all a relaxed and lively place to eat.

We went here for food and drinks based on the tripadvisor reviews. The food was basic quality and very simple, but still not cheap. The cocktails were great…. at happy hour(s) but make sure you go at those times when it’s 2for1. It’s wasn’t value for money and we wouldn’t rush back.

My Mother's Day gift from my son was a gift voucher for this restaurant so we booked in today for a Reggae Sunday roast. Never had Caribbean food before but it was lovely. 2-4-1 cocktails, staff were lovely too! We'll be back.....

Oh, Turtle Bay is such a fantastic place! I had the most amazing time there. The vibrant Caribbean atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the delicious food made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend trying their jerk chicken and their rum punch. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! 🌴🍗🍹

Went for a family gathering on a Sunday lunch, a warm greeting as we arrived, the food was well presented and hot & tasty. Service was friendly and prompt, without being intrusive. The only strange thing was the cocktail offer baffled us, 2 for one implied we ordered 2 and paid for one, instead we ordered 2 and got 4.... we slept well.

Brilliant service on a busy Saturday night and tasty drinks as always. We were thrilled to be accommodated last minute as a group of 13- staff were unfazed and so helpful. Great atmosphere on a weekend evening and 2for1 is great value

We visited this turtle bay around this time last year and had an awful experience. Today was completely different. From the warm welcome from the manager, to his cheery demeanour, he looked after us and made us notice how different the place was compared to our previous visit with friends. We opted for the roast, recommended and not for small appetites. We are glad we gave this place a second chance, and will recommend it to others.

Have only been in for a drink prior to tonight. This evening had chilli squid followed by goat curry hash 100% delicious 😋 spicy 🌶️ and had my first ever strawberry daiquiri 😋 delicious. Lovely staff and lovely food - thank you xx

Visited the other day and was welcomed by a nice older lady, sadly there seemed to be a rowdy group of girls who kept hassling the staff there, shouting, acting unpleasantly towards them. On a weekday no less, I’d expect it on a weekend. Nonetheless, lunch was delicious, our waitress was super friendly, nothing seemed to be too much trouble.

Went with a group of friends for a payday treat. The management & staff were brilliant, very attentive kept the 2 for 1 cocktails flowing & the food came quickly despite some asked for changes to dishes which they were happy to accommodate. We all had a wonderful relaxed time & plan to make it a regular venue for our treats.

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Turtle Bay in Leamington Spa. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and vibrant atmosphere. The restaurant was bustling with energy, with lively music playing in the background and the smell of delicious food wafting through the air. The decor was colourful and tropical, with fairy lights and reggae posters adorning the walls. I was immediately impressed with the service, as it was prompt and friendly. I will be back again, as I was here on business and staying locally, but they told me there are quite a few around as well.

Came here with family on Saturday night, all going well we had to do a pre order for the food (fine) and then added on a few more meals on arrival. We were sat at the back of the restaurant sort of infront of the kitchen. Food was taking a while and there was a male manager taking the food out, he ruined our entire experience from start to finish. We witnessed the way he spoke to his staff and it was not in a good way at all. He was so disrespectful to the staff in the way he spoke to them and dismissed them. I get that it was busy but there was just no need for it. Honestly it was like they were mess on his shoe. There was 2 other managers on and they were much nicer than this man after speaking to one of them about him he was apologising to us but it seemed fake and only because he got caught doing what he was doing. The staff didn’t stop to breathe at all and they all seemed very unhappy to be there. Food took a silly time to come out we were there for hours. No compensation given either. Don’t hire people that don’t know how to speak to customers and staff! They won’t come back if you do!

Great place, called in for lunchtime tipple and left 3 hours later having enjoyed lush cocktails and great atmosphere. Returned that eve for more. Staff friendly and helpful.

Visited recently, ribs were great and very saucy, the Turtle Slay was delicious and hit the spot, Chris was very friendly, helpful and we had a good time.

We love it, we had the jerk chicken, it was so soft and pulled apart beautifully. Our cocktails, two for one were flavourful and fruity. Chris was super helpful with everything, from start to finish.

I came here for food on Thursday 6th with my boyfriend and was served by Millie. She was amazing, the food was great and the drinks were great. However our visit was completely let down by what we witnessed by what I presume to be the manager of the restaurant and the staff member, from what I seen another table completely berated our server to the point she was in tears telling her she doesn’t know how to do her job and went to the manager for some extra support (at this point I would personally asked the customers in question to leave) but instead he apologised to them and gave them free drinks??? Poor girl was so upset and the manager did nothing to protect her from them and their nastiness! Glad he didn’t serve us doesn’t know how to treat people with respect and kindness!!

Had a really fun night with all of my friends!! Lois looked after us and she was an absolute angel. Really good drinks and food :)

Dropped into Leamington Spa Turtle bay after a successful hard day's regional house hunting. We were greeted and served by our wonderful host Muntha who kept our favourite cocktails coming and some exciting excellent new ones! Great friendly fun filled service, a credit to the company😄 thank you very much indeed.

Great night out , our server Lois was lovely . Food was excellent, having recently been to the Caribbean I was surprised how delicious the food was , I had Jerk Salmon with spicy chips and the others Goat & Chicken curries .
