Salt and Vinegar in Warwick

As a local resident of chase meadow, we are incredibly lucky to have the salt & vinegar chip shop on our doorstep. Lovely perfectly cooked chips, varied menu and amazing family run friendly service. We missed you guys - glad to see you back!

This is the nearest chippy to us, but we used to go to the ChipShed in west street. When that moved up to swan street I decided to try Salt and Vinegar for the first time in years and I was impressed. Perfectly cooked chips and nice moist fish with crunchy batter. Better than chip shed, and I now use this regularly again, and it has been great every time since. The only improvement suggestion I would make is to serve in boxes rather than paper.

This is the first time I have used this chip shop I was very impressed with service and will defi itel visit again

If only the website was up to date...I would not have wasted my time going over there...not good customer service

I have used Salt andvVinegar for a numger of years. Always pleasant and have my regular order in mind and make sure I do not forget any of it. First saw masala fish being served to another customer. This week ordered one...an experience everyone should try....absolutely beautiful with a smattering of mint yoghurt....more than enough for one.

I’ve used Salt and Vinegar many times for for fish and chips and it’s always been very good. I decided to order a pizza last week for the first time in the 3 years I’ve lived near by and was very pleasantly surprised how good it was. I called and ordered ahead and collected a piping hot pizza 15 Mins later - it was busy but didn’t have to queue, just passed the money over the counter and took the pizza away. My 12” margherita with pepperoni, mushrooms and Jalapeños came to £7, less than half I would normally pay at Dominos! Tasted great, I’ll defiantly be back for another soon.

Always visit this chippy, great food, good prices and portions. Have been going for years and never had any issues! Brilliant place staff are friendly too.

Generally fish and chip shops are much of a muchness. Not this one. The fish is the best ever ; always fresh and beautifully cooked in very light batter. It makes such a difference. Why every fish and chip shop doesn't do this is beyond me. The chips are always good too. The only downside is that invariably one has to wait for the fish to be cooked but that's a small price to pay for perfection. The only downside of this review is that I am so impressed that crowds might now decend on the place . Keep up the good work!.

Always get my fish and chips from here on Friday night. Lovely chips and the fish is a good size. Never have to wait long even when there is a queue

Great place for fish and chips / pizza etc Friendly staff too. Can be very busy at times but food is pretty consistent.

I have tried many pizzas, it's my favourite. But this is super tasty, juicy, and they don't scrimp on their toppings. To add to that, they are incredible value for money. I have paid 3 times as much for a Dominos pizza and am always three times more disappointed with the Dominos. Definitely recommend!

Lovely cod and chips, delicious on a recent visit with nice staff, freshly cooked also. I have visited many times.
