Restaurant that offers dishes inspired by Italian cuisine, very good and well cooked. It offers the opportunity to taste excellent oysters. Starters, pasta and meat cooked and presented well. A slightly tacky setting that tries to wink at Italy with an unsuccessful result. Friendly, helpful and prepared staff. Good service. Little parking. Prices above average. The wine cellar is good.

Went there for my husband’s birthday - was greeted so cheerfully by the staff. Service was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious & presented well!! If you want a beautiful place to sit in, this place would also be perfect. It’s so beautifully decorated. Would definitely come here again.

Really nice decore and very instagramable, great for taking your partner out or for a date. The customer service was great and very attentative. The food was nice and good sized portions.

I can’t overstate how wonderful our meal was last night. The service was impeccable, the establishment is clean and tidy and beautifully decorated, and the food was genuinely one of the greatest meals I have ever eaten. First time here, but will definitely be back very soon

Very nice food, I went with my best mate and it's definitely more of a romantic restaurant so was a bit odd but that's not the fault of the restaurant.

Adorable atmosphere, the food quite nice without being amazing but the service could do with improvement. We needed to pour our own wine from our bottle, waiters appeared disinterested in giving us advice on the menu and I felt them to be a touch arrogant. But the atmosphere is really very lovely.

Amazing restaurant, excellent cocktails. best oysters ever, very flavourful. We had six Oysters, chicken livers which were delicious, served in a rich gravy sauce. We also had the courgette fries again served with a lovely dipping sauce, delicious. For mains we ordered the lobster linguine, with brandy sauce, this wasn’t as saucy or creamy as I had hoped but had a good serving of lobster. For dessert we shared pannacotta which was very nice.

We celebrated our daughters 40th birthday with our 2 young granddaughters. We were given such a warm welcome - particularly the children! Our waiter was Alex who was friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. All the meals were really delicious and plentiful and we never felt hurried. There was a lovely atmosphere and we would definitely return and recommend

1st visit since its relocation onto the Parade. The restaurant is absolutely top notch & probably one of (if not) 'the' best restaurants in Leamington. Food is outstanding. Decor is something to behold. Service is 1st class & all the staff present themselves immaculately. Prices are on the high side... but only to be expected as his restaurant is in a different league compare with anything locally.

Meal too salty. Taste not exceptional. The staff too intrusive. We had the feeling of not being welcome. We need to clear the table quickly. Really very disappointed 😞

Tuesday evening dinner was excellent as was the house red wine. Pleasant and discrete service made it a drlightful experience.

The ambience and food are really great, unfortunately some of the service staff are very snooty and treat guests very condescendingly

This was a really lovely evening! Food, atmosphere and more importantly the staff were excellent. Checking on us, giving recommendations and all my family loved their food and the wine selection was delicious - my dad had a delicious red that he thought was great. Starters were great portion sizes and very yummy! Main courses were also delicious and bit different too which made them even more tasty. So thank you, can wait to come again.

It’s a good place unfortunately they add a service charge! That for me ruins the experience… for me that says he doesn’t pay his staff enough or just a way for him to pay them less to have more money for himself! Will not visit again

Beautiful ambiance, good service & delicious food

What a stunning Italian restaurant. I could not fault this restaurant for ambiance, staff, atmosphere, food or anything else. Went to thr restaurant to meet my sons fiancées parents for the first time. Big occasion and the restaurant turned out to be the perfect venue. Both of us mums arrived with flowers and the staff immediately offered to take them and put them in water until we left. The interior decor was stunning and pristinely clean. Spoilt for choice for every course on the menu which made it difficult to choose. Very attentive staff and despite being very busy the food arrived quickly. Was delicious and authentic plated up beautifully. The restaurant made this occassion extra special. Not the cheapest place but worth every penny.

There are full of outstanding restaurants in Leamington Spa and La Coppola certainly one of the best. I had the Linguine alla Agosta, with fresh lobster meat. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, I went on. Sunday evening although the street was quiet, the restaurant was busy for 6:30pm . Excellent dining experience!

If you’re in Leamington Spa, this is simply THE BEST restaurant. Exquisite Italian food, with great service. Note that it is a slightly formal place that uses only the finest ingredients, so it’s worth dressing up and spending a bit more for a special occasion.

Excellent service and very attentive staff..prefect ambiance for fine dining. Exceptional menu with plenty of choices, highly recommend bruschette, chicken in tomatoes and sausage with a side order of vegetables, or ravioli with lamb and chilli..delicious the dessert menu is definitely not to be missed panna cotte and lemon tarte with lemon gelato.. I would highly recommend everything on the menu.. Absolutely prefect..thank you..

Been to this restaurant twice (once a year) when visiting family. Both times they make a request for cash only with a false claim their card machine doesn’t work. I believed them the first time, not the second time today. I realised they need to be reported to trading standards for money laundering since the owners have been bankrupt since 2018 and the companies all dissolved since around then. Trading illegally unfortunately which is such a shame and when I questioned them and told them it was illegal they played dumb. Gosh so disappointed to see such a prominent restaurant acting so fraudulently. I would only attend if you can pay on CARD. DONT BELIEVE THE CARD MACHINE WIFI EXCUSE!

This is a special place for a celebration- birthday meal here - and was absolutely fantastic. The kitchen can cook and delivered top drawer food for us. Mrs W proclaimed the 9 Hour Lamb “the best lamb” she had ever eaten. My veal Monte Carlo was delicious. Our starters of zucchini fries + carpaccio were up there with ‘best’ standards too. Waiting staff are on point too which adds to the whole experience. The closest I could come to by comparison was The Ivy - lovely location and atmosphere- but the food is even better. Will be back!

For a restaurant in rural England, this is exceptional. Italian food made in the traditional way, nice ambience with actual Italian waiters. You can experience a little piece of Italy here.

Beautiful surroundings, delicious food, and welcoming service despite arriving at the very end of service without a booking.

We came here at the end of April as a group of 9 I believe. My friend was celebrating her birthday and invited us for dinner which she had booked 2 months in advance and put a deposit down for. We came on time to be seated at 8.30pm, we were forced to wait in the foyer for 30 minutes. We had to chase the staff several times to update us on when our table was going to be ready. Making customers who have booked in advance wait for half an hour is very disrespectful. 20 minutes later, a group of people exited the restaurant… they were the ones sitting at our table. Naturally, the birthday girl was upset as it was her evening being spoilt like that. The restaurant then took the desserts off our bill to make up for the delay (only 4 of us had desserts I believe). The interior is lovely and very “instagramable”, but that’s where the good things end. The waiters were nice to us the whole evening, but I don’t know if that was because of the massive delay to sit us down in the beginning. The food was very mediocre, dare I say, Zizzi is just as nice. The panna cotta had a chemical taste. The main was dry. My suggestion to the management is, booking slots either need to be extended by 30 mins, or customers need to be gently guided towards the exit when their time is up to avoid delaying whoever has booked next. But we won’t be coming back. We have since discovered Villa Capri, and La Coppola doesn’t compare. Edit: we visited on the 22nd April for 8:30pm, the name on the booking was Daria (not putting the last name down to respect privacy)

Staff were very professional and felt tended to. Felt like we had the proper Italian restaurant experience, more so than Italian restaurants I’ve been to in Italy. Some people say they felt rushed but I didn’t at all, they gave us sufficient time to decide what we wanted but didn’t leave us waiting ages. They could tell when we were ready to order and came promptly. I hate long wait times at restaurants and La Coppola were one of the best restaurants I’ve been to where they read your body language and can tell when you’re ready as well as the food coming quickly. When you’re finished your plates are cleared straight away so you’re not sat staring at them. I throughly enjoyed my experience, the food tasted great, especially the Arancini as a starter. The scenery is amazing, and the atmosphere is lovely. Great for a romantic dinner or a group of adults. Definitely recommend and will come again when we are in the area. Thanks La Coppola!

Absolutely amazing restaurant with a stunning interior design from the excellent paintings on the ceiling to the lighting that accompanies it. The choices on the menu leave you spoilt for choice, along with a superb selection of wines to accompany the excellent food. The staff were very attentive and went out of their way to make the visit very special. The food came out promptly and was absolutely delicious 😋... I had the Spaghetti Vongole from the main course choices, and all in all, La Coppola scores 10/10 in every respect. Another visit to be arranged so other delights off the menu can be tried.

Wanted to like this place but for the price and the hype it very much didn't live up to what was expected. Now, please bare in mind that for 3 years I spent 4 days a month working in Italy so I know what to expect of good Italian food... and this wasn't anywhere near that. Antipasto starter - £12.95 per person - yes it tasted nice but nothing about it was special - standard meets you would get anywhere, 1 Bruschetta each, 1 Arancini ball each, mozzarella and some olives. Main course - Duck pasta - had it in italy before and loved it.... here well, i tired to send it back twice and they were not really interested. The pasta turned up 30 seconds after our starter was cleared. My pasta was dull on top and had congealed slightly - like it had been sitting under a hot lamp for the last 5 minutes. Alas no, i was told that it wasn't the case (so an amazing chef can cook a pasta dish in 30 seconds!) So i mix my pasta up hoping the middle was piping hot - nope lukewarm was the realization. Asked the (head) waiter about it - he held the plate and told me it felt hot underneath and was the normal temperature - yep but still doesn't mean the pasta is hot. Now combine that with my wifes pasta where the sauce had a thin crust on it - yep like it had been sat under a hot lamp and you see a little pattern with both dishes. No time was any replacement or recooking or even putting in the bloody microwave to heat up offered - just told it that is how it is. Could this be a £20 plate of pasta restaurant - yes Was our meal a £20 plate of pasta meal - no! I ate some as I was hungry but lukewarm pasta isn't the best thing i want for my birthday meal. Unfortunately, I won't be going back and wouldn't recommend to others either.

Very disappointing. Excellent menu with drinks served with flair and fabulous wine list. Starter sharing anti pasti was delicious only to be let down by the main. Both pasta dishes had a congealed sauce on the top making a matte skin, obviously having both sat under a heat lamp. We mentioned this to be told that this is how pasta is served (fairly derogatory and untrue us both having spent huge amounts of time in Italy and in some lovely Italian owned and run restaurants in this country. ) the tagliatelle moved as a whole lump on the plate and was warm on top and cold in the middle. Again we mentioned this when the manager came to ask us if everything was ok. We answered ‘No, it’s cold’ and he nodded and walked off. An exchange of the dish would have been satisfactory, or simply an apology but neither of these were forthcoming and full price was paid for the meal. Lovely place for a pre dinner drink but we won’t be heading back for anything ‘authentically Italian’ as neither the food or the service fits this description.

Food was really good and worth the price. Service Attentive and polite but definitely needs skilling up on serving fish, had more fishbones than the fish itself.

Absolutely lovely lunch. I had the Salmon Antartica with Penne pasta. My partner had the Carbonara. Such a beautiful little village and a lovely restaurant with great friendly service. Have been before and will definitely go back again

We chose this restaurant for a post Graduation family meal, and it did not disappoint. The decor is very grand to go with the impeccable service. Really fitted our celebration meal. We all enjoyed our meal. Good vegetarian options too.

This is a beautiful, authentic italisn restaurant at the heart of Leamington Spa and it's easy to see why booking in advance is a must! I couldn't fault the service and all the staff were very knowledgeable on all the dishes available. They were all very friendly and professional. Good is fantastic with great presentation throughout. I would recommend La Coppola to anyone with a passion for Italian food.

Food is absolutely disgusting. Some things just about edible, other things completely inedible. Astronomically overpriced considering the quality of the food. Arguably the worst Italian restaurant I have ever been to.

Very unenjoyable meal. Every plate was at best mediocre, with most being completely flavourless and unenjoyable. Entire table’s food also came out about 3 minutes after ordering? That, along with the lacklustre taste, makes me wonder if it’s all microwaved??? Not worth the money at all.
