Tudor Rose Tearooms in Sevenoaks

Absolutely disgraceful lunch. They had run out of cream tea (it’s s tea rooms!) so we ordered fish finger sandwich and Cornish pasty. Cornish pasty was disgusting - microwaved from a petrol garage. Wife took one bite of fish finger and spat it out. Chips were barely microwaved. All for £30 - total rip off. Oh and took 40 minutes to get served this.

Excellent food and value and very committed staff. We were unlucky we missed the village/ town fair on the large green in front of the Tudor Rose by 2 days.

Took my daughter out for lunch and what a little gem of a place this is!! Only small criticism is that the tea was a little weak (may take an extra teabag with me next time!!). Great sandwiches, amazing cakes and all for a very reasonable price. Can't wait to go back again (actually have decided we are going back tomorrow....)

Westerham has a great choice of places for lunch but this one on the green appealed to us on the hottest day of the year. Friendly service and delicious food at a reasonable price. I had the lasagne and my wife had a tuna and cheese panini. Both served with a generous amount of salad. We each had a can of drink and the total bill was £23 - very much worth it. The service was very good as well. We will surely return.

What a lovely find! We had been to Biggin Hill and were looking somewhere to grab a bite to eat. The staff were so happy and friendly, and they had a table for 4 free so we went right in. A lovely selection of food to choose from including cake and really reasonably priced. I’d love to visit again if we were in the area, and I’d definitely recommend to others. Been coming here on and off for years. But the quality has dropped and prices have shot up since my last visit. Tthis place is normally packed but it was literally empty when we arrived around midday That should have been a bit of a warning in my head. We ordered a cheese toastie and a cheese and ham panini and two drinks which came to over £20. The quality of the lunch items was poor. The portions were small and made with bread which could have come straight from a supermarket - nothing special. There was a small serving of coleslaw and 4 slices of cucumber. The cake offering was also very limited which is unusual. We actually left and went across the green to another venue to finish our lunch. Very disappointed .

This is an ideal place to stop for refreshments when visiting the lovely village of Westerham. I was there with my wife, daughter and young grand daughter, and the staff there made us feel very welcome, even moving some chairs out of the way so we could fit the push chair in! Being of iron will power, I managed to resist the temptation to sample one of the fine display of cakes and treats on offer. However, both wife and daughter eagerly made their way to the display to make their choice: a large wedge of Victoria Sponge for mother, a massive chocolate brownie for daughter. Their responses when I asked how their treats were ranged from ' fantastic' to 'absolutely delicious ', so I consider that a definite thumbs up! It's certainly a place we will return to.

As Americans we were delighted when our British friends took us to The Tudor Rose Tea Room in Westerham. We were in the area to visit Chartwell. Our paninis and sandwiches were perfect! We each had a different cake and all were scrumptious! Excellent food at a reasonable price in a charming atmosphere.

Stopped by for a coffee while passing through Westerham. Good coffee, great service, cute cafe, average prices. I only had coffee but seems like a lovely lunch spot.

Met my sister in law here last minute with our babies as it was too hot to walk. I was delighted, staff extremely friendly, good meals at decent prices and absolutely delicious bread pudding. Will definitely be visiting again

Coffee (cappuccino) very weak and tasteless. Didn’t have anything else so can’t comment on food, though the home made cakes did look good! Staff friendly.

I recently had afternoon tea here with my mum and dad and sisters, I called short notice the day before and John booked it all in on arrival his lovely wife had set all the table and ot looked beautiful. There was plenty of lovely food and she done birthday candles for me too. Anything we needed she went above and beyond and was back and forth catering for us all. A family member brought me another birthday cake along ( cake galore) and she even gave us a stand to present it all on. One of us was on a diet she sorted that no problem. Tea coffee peppermint tea! Everyone sang happy birthday and the kitchen staff even came out to say happy birthday. Thanks so much to you both and ps all the chocolate brownies are to die for ! Soft moist warm and the best taste :). I may just go back every year if I can :)

A group of 10 of us booked for a celebration afternoon tea on a Saturday afternoon. The table looked lovely when we arrived and our hostess was happy to take photos of the party. We were also able to bring our own prosecco - made it a real tea party - grateful for the provision of flutes to serve it. The food was delicious and plentiful and, given it was a busy afternoon, we were well looked after. Excellent value and our hostess was really helpful - booking process smooth and very thorough in making sure we had what we needed. Would most certainly return, thank you.

A fabulous and busy Tearooms. We were warmly greeted on arrival. We had reserved a table in advance as we knew it is popular place. We had afternoon tea. Food was first class - home made cakes and perfect sandwiches all with a lovely pot of tea. Very busy but we we had hardly any time to wait for our food and nothing was too much trouble - will be visiting again soon.

We visited Tudor Rose on Mother's day for an afternoon tea. All food and cakes were delightful- fresh and homemade. Chocolate brownie was definitely the best brownie I've ever had and my husband loved his lemon drizzle. Service was super friendly and attentive despite being super busy on that day

As their website holds no information I telephoned to enquire if they serve afternoon tea and informed that indeed they do and I made a booking for Sunday 26 February for three. The very friendly lady told me that I would have to pay the full cost there and then before she could confirm the booking which I have never been asked to do in any other restaurant before but I though okay and paid an excess of £17 per head (£50+) which is rather steep for a country cafe. The finger sandwiches were okay but.certainly nothing out of the ordinary, the scones were stale, hard and crumbly. The cakes were okay but that’s about all that can be said for them. The very friendly and helpful young lady that served could not be faulted though.

We were disappointed with the poor value for money. We ordered three afternoon teas with salmon and were given 2 salmon fingers in total which meant one of our party who had paid for salmon didn’t even get any. Another afternoon tea we ordered was tuna - here we also got only one tuna finger sandwich. One of our orders was salmon afternoon tea with no cream for the scone and were given a vegan tea. It was all a big mess and three of the teas were served together on one serving plate. It was therefore difficult to divide it up. We had 3/4 finger sandwiches each, one small sausage roll and one small tomato pastry swirl. There was definitely too much cake and not enough sandwiches. We wish we had gone for a normal lunch now as we have done previously but this was chosen for a special family occasion costing £90 for 5 of us.

Stopped in here with my family on my way through Westerham at the start of the weekend. Whilst I don’t usually leave reviews I thought the standard of food and service of this place definitely deserved one! The staff are all extremely friendly and welcoming and the food was sublime - one of the nicest Victoria sponges I have ever eaten! The owner Kelly was exceptionally helpful making sure myself and my family all had something that was tailored to their tastes. Would recommend this tea room to anyone in the area and I will definitely be back again soon!

Visited on saturday around 2:15pm to have a sandwich and cup of tea."Extremely bored" server said she would have to check they were still serving.....luckily they were as it was earlier than the bored girl thought it was....When she was aked what sandwiches they had she waved at the blackboard and said "they are on there"No prices and she wasn't helpful at all by saying it depends on what you have....Such a shame she let the tearoom down with her attitude.No wonder they had 90% empty tables.Management/owner ought to be made aware of her disgraceful attitude.

My second visit here in a few months. I am an "Awkward Allergy Customer" and they went to huge efforts making me a bespoke afternoon tea. It was absolutely beautiful. So so worth the money... they sell vouchers... why don't you treat a friend like I did, you won't be disappointed.It's beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, bright and the owners and staff welcome you like old friends. The cakes are home made and fresh. Just wished I lived nearer! Thank You Tudor Rose.

Was lucky enough to get to sample the vegan scones from Tudor rose and let me tell you, one won’t be enough! Completely delicious, warm and buttery - even my non vegan friends loved them too! Highly recommend visiting this beautiful tea room, the staff are incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the food is absolutely delicious.

We had an excellent afternoon tea at the Tudor Rose- everything was perfect. Despite it being busy we were well taken care of. The selection of cakes and sandwiches were delicious! So happy with our experience and will definitely be visiting again soon.
