Tuck Stop in Derbyshire Dales

Another great 2nd Saturday afternoon of the month at the Plough. The Panther Owners Club section meeting. We even had several Panthers today. Very friendly staff look after an unruly bunch of bikers with beer or coffee for those riding plus chip butties. Always a great day, thanks go to all concerned. Lesser makes of bike accepted.

Decided to have dinner in the restaurant as we had an overnight stay in the hotel.Not a big menu but enough choice.Food was well cooked and of good quality. Decent sized portions that came on hot plates. For dessert we had the bakewell pudding that...

Called in for an ice cream this afternoon - salted caramel and a bubble gum. Overall quick service and tasted fine.

We were staying close by so popped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Service was a little slow initially and they did get my own order wrong, however the manager could not have been more apologetic so first class customer service. The food was lovely when it arrived and the coffee was great also.

Sat by the very welcome log burner to enjoy a quick drink while shopping in the town. Warm and friendly pub.
