Truth Lounge - bar & grill in Liverpool

Not surprised at the other bad reviews. Rude staff, desperate to grab your money.... Not happy how i was spoken to, the way they fronted us as we walked in and how he rudely pointed as well. Been to most of the shisha places round liverpool and the staff are always welcoming and respectful. Not here though. Won't be coming back.

Very beautiful setup. If you want to chill for a couple of hours away from the noise, this is the place to be. Shisha was great and the vibe was amazing.

Great shisha bar and desserts!!

This is one of the worst shisha spots in Liverpool 1000%. A number of things why…. First of all I’ve been going this place for years and how the business has fell off to the staff and manager that are present is a joke. The man on the roll tried to charge me 60 for 3 shisha’s when I knew it was 45 and when notified he just changed the price like it was nothing because he knew he tried to stiff me with the price. He then said he will give me my £5 change in just a moment and didn’t give the change for another hour after asking! The shishas were 100% not cleaned and coals were not recycled at all, guy forgot mouth pieces and went back to get them like 6 times. We have walked in and the Liverpool game wasn’t even on the TV’s when it was 15 minutes into the game, like how you getting customers in Liverpool of the game isn’t on the TV’s? Speakers kept making broken noises for a good 2hrs. Staff was literally just smoking shisha when there was only us in there and NO ONE ELSE!! Could literally run that place much better myself, these guys are not only rude but don’t care about the customers in there whatsoever it’s a massive joke. Apart from the women in there, every staff member didn’t care about the customers and have no idea about running a shisha business! This place has fell off. I’m not the type of person to write reviews as well, but this place was genuinely the worst place to spend your 23rd birthday! Do Not Go There!

¡Mi experiencia fue horrible! Se equivocaron parte del pedido y al intentar varias veces explicar lo que habíamos pedido, dijeron que el chef haría el pedido correcto. Continuando comiendo la parte correcta, estaba comiendo un trozo de pollo deshuesado cuando mastiqué, noté algo duro que escupí al darme cuenta de que era un hueso de pollo. Esto hizo que el resto de la comida fuera totalmente poco atractiva y de todos modos no terminamos recibiendo la parte correcta del pedido. No volveré aquí, creo que la renovación ha hecho que el lugar vaya cuesta abajo, especialmente en términos de comida.

Reservamos para ver la pelea de AJ aquí, que nos dijeron que era libre de ver. Cuando llegamos nos dijeron que debíamos comprar shisha, que era un mínimo de 12 (a pesar del hecho de que a todos nos pedirían comida y bebidas de todos modos). Maya, que trabajaba en la caja fue grosero y hostil y arruinó el estado de ánimo durante toda la noche. Además, la vista (como se muestra) era horrible y apenas podíamos ver la televisión. También se equivocaron de orden. Recomendaría este lugar ordinario, sin embargo, Maya lo arruinó por completo y lo obligaron a comprar shisha. (por supuesto, nos habríamos ido a otro lado, pero como queríamos ver la pelea, tuvimos que quedarnos como en cualquier otro lugar de la ciudad).

Vibrant place excellent service and a brilliant shisha bar

We ordered shisha and drinks waited 1 hour and they never turned up and surprisingly they came up with a bill without us getting our drinks and shisha and then waitress gave us attitude therefore we are not happy with the service. It was appalling no apology or anything . So as a local guide in Liverpool I recommend everyone to avoid this place.

Made a trip with a couple of friends to Liverpool, after seeing photos on social media I had to check it out. We tried a few different burgers off the menu. I would say the food was ok, nothing to write home about but then again I am writing a review 😂. The shishas were bang on, smoked well and the place was kicking. Overall goodnight, would recommend for the Shish and lively atmosphere.

Probably the worst service in Liverpool A very quiet Sunday hardly any customers but the employees were on their phones all the time they basically forgot to check if the food was ok or if the customer was ok ? Waited for the bill for 25 mins as the management went out for a cigarette with the staff member who brought my meal then when they returned they both checked their phones again for at least 15 mins. Ironically they had a staff meeting while I was there to try and focus on the lack of professionalism and customer service. Well that was a pointless meeting folks. The food was actually not too bad but not the best Turkish in Liverpool.

Very nice place and very clean .

The shisha was ok, but not great and the food menu is very limited. It's also a bit overpriced. The shisha was £20, where at most, I've paid £13 in Birmingham and £15 in Manchester.

The place is very busy on major days obviously. The staff, there is plenty of them. The food is really nice and their desserts are next level. One thing though, their staff members are not that friendly. This is especially in regards to the girls that work there. They don't seem to have best attitude towards customers and I'd hate to say it but they came across "snobby". However, it would be unfair to leave a lesser review due to some individuals. Just perhaps need training

Excellent location setting and location. The thing we went for was the shisha which was more than disappointing. If you're going for the shisha you need to go elsewhere. Flavour burnt quick and was very harsh.

On a visit to Liverpool and googled shisha lounges-this came up second with great star rating A little disappointed as they weren’t serving desserts and shisha wasn’t that great-didn’t feel smooth and tasted burnt also staff weren’t very attentive and only turned coals once On the plus side-staff were friendly and had great mint tea

Typed into Google Shisha Liverpool and this place came out...A quick swipe and checking out the pics I thought yes!. Read the comments... Still thought "benefit of the doubt" ... A what a night!! Friendly staff . Very helpful.. asked what flavours I enjoy and they made an amazing shisha. Take your own booze. Good music, busy, great nite out!

Nothing like it used to be, since they took out the deserts it's not as appealing. Staff are a little negligent with the Shisha. Tables on both sides of us as well as ourselves repeatedly asked them to replace coals. Tables near to the room where they're prepared had constant changes. Manager/Owner was lovely enough, he told us they're bringing back the desserts soon, and gave us some Ice Cream on the house to stem our disappointment.

Love the pizzas there, also have nice mocktails. They have a separate eating area if you don’t want to sit in the smoking lounge, either seating it is a nice and friendly place.

Es un sitio agradable para tomar unas pintas. Lo mejor es la terraza cubierta y aclimatada para fumar shisha, pero sólo te dan mesa si vas a fumar. También tienen helados artesanos y juegos como billar, futbolín, etc. La comida es normal, nada especial. Es un buen sitio para pasar la tarde con amigos en un entorno cómodo.

Great food at good price but my word, the service was TERRIBLE. Staff were friendly enough but the drinks took forever to arrive, the food actually came first, and when they came they were wrong and nothing, literally nothing, was done about it. The place was practically empty also. Even when we enquired about our drinks the barman was playing on his phone. Was a shame as the food was decent.

I have had a bad experience there, i have been with a mate and we order shisha food and drinks. We spent around 50 quid. While we were enjoying our food the waitress came to us and asked us to squeeze up because they have to bring a group of people to sit in our table. The way she said it was like if we were invaluable customers. We were chosen over all the people who were there . The lady was rude and its like she was giving an order to move.to be honest i don't recommend going there . It was my first and last time going there Please avoid

Excellent place to have a laugh with friends

From the word go the staff here were very helpful, there was nothing that was too much trouble and they were polite and knowledgeable. We booked a booth for 10 for a 21st Birthday Party and although it was a squeeze that needed extra chairs it was comfortable enough. They brought through 4 different mixed shishas and 3 generous chocolate fondue, a bottle of prosecco and a cake all for one very reasonable price. It was a great experience and a great surprise for a 21st birthday. My only suggestion would be to take a coat as it can get a bit chilly. 10/10 will be back very soon.

Been here a few times with a group of friends. A warm, cosy and relaxing atmosphere. The prices aren't extortionate and I've always enjoyed the food. Dejavooo also has a small "Icestones" where you can find a range of deserts. Overall, an ideal place for a catch up/get together.
