Probably the best sandwiches I have ever had from any high street store, including M&S Pret and Tesco Excellent quality bread generously filled and reasonably priced Will be trying the pasties next visit !

Place is great for lunch they make up any sandwich requests even if mine are weird 🤣 Served by a young lad who was fantastic and helpful. Would defo go back!

A great old-fashioned bakery tucked away just off the Main Street in Hove, selling a range of bread, cakes, etc, at very reasonable prices. I had a massive Belgium bun and cherry pie. Both were delicious. I went back the following day for an amazing caramel doughnut and lovely crusty white bloomer. I’d definitely recommend a visit as, unlike other bakeries in the area, it’s affordable and down to earth.

I am a ham and cheese toastie lover and this place made all my ham and cheese toastie dream come true . Nice service too .

I love this chain of bakers. ESPECIALLY the fresh cream and strawberry Victoria sponge - such a treat!

Just bought 2 pasties this morning 1 was lovely .the other one had a few of white or blonde hair in the pastie. Lovely though won't be put off .bloomer loaf brilliant. I be back to buy more again .

Had the best chicken sandwich from this delightful bakery today. Staff really friendly + helpful and my sandwich was fabulous. It was also a lot cheaper than I'm used to paying in Poets Corner. I highly recommend this wonderful little bakery + will definitely be paying another visit.

With only 1.5 hours notice the team produced sandwiches and cakes for 11. Bread was lovely, white and brown, fillings were excellent, (prawn mayo, ham & colesale, egg mayo and tuna & sweetcorn). Even the platter garnish was really good, tasty tomatoes and cucumber too. Scrummy doughnuts and the iced bun and eccles cake were first rate. Well done Truffles, top marks!

I go to Truffles 3-4 times a week. Their bacon rolls are out of this world!! Friendly staff too. Comes highly recommended.

Lovely bakers, purchased 2 cinnamon rolls, so soft like clouds, and a delicious sausage roll. Will definitely come back, when back in Hove.

Amazing customer service! I had an issue with some burnt cookies and Michael hand delivered to my door a new pack with in half an hour of my complaint . Never had service like this before!

A step above the average bakery. The cookies are excellent as are the sandwiches and pastries. If it was for my waistline I'd be in there more often.

I bought a prawn sandwich this morning , went to the beach to eat it only to find a bone which really put me off eating my lunch . I will never go there again .

Been in Truffles a few times, pleasant staff, but quite pricey, the small cakes are expensive and the sausage rolls. Had a Prawn Mayo on a French stick, only a half French stick and was not far off £4.00. Wouldn’t get that again! Are there any good reasonably prices bakeries in Brighton and Hove?

Great food not sure about some of the staff need to be more customer focused.

Nice friendly place to grab a bite to eat. Pricey compared to some places but perfect for giving a dog a treat once the pastry is removed. .And something bought for owner too

I love this bakery, we use it as our family go to for fresh cream cakes as it’s amazingly well priced and the cakes are always delicious. When I used to work on George st I would also buy lunches from here (sandwiches, jacket potato and salad bowls) which I loved. Also on the odd pay day I’d grab fresh Victoria sponges and brownies for my colleague which everybody tucked into!

FOOD POISONING. Still recovering from terrible food poisoning from a prawn sandwich. First and last time I will eat at truffels.

Munch was decent, however, a member of staff named ed, was rude when i entered, this has put me off Truffles completely and probably won't be returning. Not impressed at all.

Wasn’t impressed when a member of staff, named Ed told me to ‘piss off’ after I realised I had an insufficient amount of money to pay for a sausage roll.

One of my favourite bakeries, a reasonably good selection of sweet and savoury stuff but they regularly get rid of their BEST product without a doubt. The Caramel Millionaire Shortbread! BRING IT BACK FOR GOOD I BEG OF YOU!
