Costa Coffee in Brighton and Hove

Unfortunately I don't like pushy people! I was the only person at the time and was told to hurry so she could start making my drink! I didn't get a chance to even look at the menu 😕 I came away with a drink that I didn't really want but was all I could think of.

I went and picked up my drinks and was asked if I wanted whipped cream on top. I casually said it was my friends birthday so why not. The staff picked up on that and mad the drinks extra special. They really went out of their way. The store itself is a bit tired and needs some TLC from head office

Lovely and helpful workers. This is the best customer service Costa I’ve had. It’s my local and it’s always a nice atmosphere. They work well in a team and the coffees and cakes are amazing 🤩 xx

Popped in for a quick coffee after voting, a bit grumpy 😠 as I walked up Ela and Layan was like a double act taking my order and nothing was to much for them.. I ended up laughing with them.. def a 10/10 team!!! Well done ladies!!!

Coffee was nice toasted sandwich was nice was no so busy as normal so was nice to just sit and chat

Your BOCH sausage sandwiches are awful/gross and poorly labelled. It would be helpful to clearly label they are a vegetarian option to avoid an unpleasant experience.

Coffee lukewarm! Can’t really hear the elevator music over staff volume of discussion. Not the best interior with ripped seats that look like to have been this way for a while... I was intending to fire up my laptop and do some work, but not liking this place.

Lovely little local Costa and perfect for a mid week meet up. Staff are always friendly and helpful and obviously the coffee is the best of the big high street coffee shops. If I had one complaint it's that the cakes/treats in the cabinet never look particularly appealing and never look that fresh. On my last visit I saw a very sad Hot Cross Bun which looked like it had missed Easter(it was 3 weeks after Easter) and wanted to be put out of its misery (and somehow was £2). Overall, lovely cafe, lovely staff, questionable cakes 😕

Coffee was really nice. The M&S food served was ok. The clearing of tables and the litter outside on their tables and seating really needed attention. Seemed a lot of staff behind counter but no one clearing up.

It's a Costa kinda over priced but Starbucks are worse

It's okay I mean it's better than Starbucks imo and I got a free cake on my birthday yknjuts regular nothing special

I use to go there often and work on my laptop. The staff is friendly and the place is clean.

I go there every now and then to study and the staff are very friendly and there is WiFi.

3rd best Costa in Brighton. 197th in the uk. Marked them down on the head barista's take on a latte.

I have my coffee here every morning before work. The service is fantastic ( always with a smile) and the team are brilliant. They make my coffee exactly the way I like every single time 💕💕💕 xoxo

Nice coffee and friendly service

Really disappoint!!!! You pay a lot of money for a cup of coffee only to be served “warm, virtually cold“! When challenged they argue back and refuses to replace the coffee. Best thing to go to the side neighbour coffee place, at least you be serve a proper “Hot” drink.

It's a Costa eh caramel with the taste of really burnt coffee to ruin it.

Ok place, but over priced, they didn't clear tables fast enough.

Coffee was luke warm and the after 8 hot chocolate was disappointing and not what I was expecting. Staff were loud and noise and Customer service wasn't up to the normal standard of George Street Costa

Very clean and good social distancing with the tables. There's also seating available outdoors, and you can order using their App. Very polite and friendly staff too!

Lovely staff, always have time to chat and pass the time of day, they know their customers and always make you feel welcome. Currently can take down name & number on a laptop for track & trace so no need for the app if you haven't got a smart phone. Look out for the reduced items, always a bonus. Inside and outside seating, next to sainsburys, flour pot cafe and at Vincent charity shop.

Really impressed by the precautions they are taking in respect of COVID. Felt safe and reassured, staff welcoming and on the ball as always! Thank you, I was nervous about venturing out in this way and you helped relieve some of that anxiety! Great coffee as always too ;)

Just nice to be able to sit in and partake in a favourite coffee.. This is two minutes from my front door and just a nice easy wake up call when I am not working a very early shift sometimes but still have to be up early...lol

Always like coming to Costa coffee. Staff here polite friendly and helpful. Busy place on a Sunday so managed to get the last table. Nice hot tea and coffee and sandwiches following. Pleasant place.

Lovely staff. However I specifically ordered decaf. Checked twice I’m getting decaf. Now 3 hours later ... realised had caffeine. Heart going like the clappers, indigestion. Feel uncomfortable. Really annoyed!!! 🤨

This is one of the nicest Costa shops I've been to. Very charming staff and the filter coffee was great, strong, just how I want it. I ordered a toasted teacake and butter, yummy. So pleased to have found a decent branch of Costa in Hove. Recommended.

Best Costa Coffee this side of the solar system

Nice that you can sit inside or outside. Nice seating area inside, light + airy. My only complaint as such is the price - very expensive. On the plus side the staff are friendly + very welcoming.

First time I have been in but I enjoyed my visit I was at ease and liked my cup of tea which was served in a small teapot which held more than a cup the atmosphere was cosy and you had a variety of clients from mums to professionals worth a visit again I think.

People that rate Costa as a place for great coffee clearly don’t actually like coffee, they like big buckets of coffee flavoured water. I’ve yet to have a decent coffee in this chain. Piss poor.

COSTA COMES TO PORTLAND ROAD! As always, the best coffee ever. Absolutely love this place. The staff are great, it's always clean and spacious and there's lots of on street space for sitting in the sunshine. Love it.

It has good food and good drinks but the wifi is verry poor and it verry pricey
