Been here a few times, friendly staff. Brilliant vibe for the football. Great beer selection also 👌 Ami helped me map out a great route around the City alot. Will certainly be back 🍺🍸🥰⚽️

Great pub. Very clean. Nice selection of drinks to suit everyone. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Very close to the railway station and a good place to stop when you get off the train.

Under new owners and speacilising in pie, mash and liquor...the food was frankly amazing, the staff were lovely and the beer prices don't give you a nose bleed.

Just a bit expensive. But, very nice.

Been into this pub over a dozen times, for the most part it’s a fair price and a good atmosphere. However, the manager declined custom from two regulars for out of towners, despite there being plenty of room. Disappointed to say the least and we won’t be coming back. A sad end to a good pub. Bouncer on the door was a good lad and seemed as miffed as the pair of us.

I’ve been a number of times and had a great night, the most recent time I’ve been so disappointed with the service I’ve been given, as a local BHAFC fan compared to the away fans I’ve been very upset, you should always support local.

We have been a couple of times and it was great! However the service we got tonight was horrendous. A small queue outside with away fans, however the home fans weren't allowed to be inside, although they had space. No respect. As a BHAFC fan I won't be going again

You get what you pay for with the food. Bar girl was polite but we felt very uncomfortable and unwanted in the venue.

Beautifully modernised bar, lovely atmosphere. Walked past many a time before but oh how it’s changed. Gonna be a frequent stop off from now. Well done

A great character pub, a stones throw from Brighton station. This independent free house pub has recently been refurbished and is now a stylish, traditional pub. I stopped for the pint & burger offer and the burger was great. Well worth a visit.

Staff are always welcoming, friendly and efficient! Prices are one of the best in Brighton and the food is 100% the best around. Burger chips and drink deal for £10 is a steal and the menu is always adding bits but always delicious. Lovely atmosphere in this pub always recommend to my friends. Perfect place for you last or first drink as very close to the station.

Wow, this food was so much better than anticipated. Best wings I've had in brighton. Lovely spot to stop at and best of all the staff were so welcoming. Also many phone charging points.

I Had a couple pints here last week and honestly had the best night. The music was really good, the bartender Abi was very nice and the selection of beer was top notch. The chef also brought us out some wings which were delicious. Highly recommend checking out this pub !!

A great, clean, comfortable pub with good decor. Very pleasant service from the 3 staff with whom I dealt. Importantly, they pour a decent pint! Sit inside (there were several power points with USB charging) or outside (sunny afternoons!). Decent music and decent food (£10 burger and pint). Can't ask for anything more!

I had the pleasure of visiting Royal Standard and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and cozy. The decor is trendy and modern, creating a perfect setting for a night out with friends. The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly, and even recommended a few drinks that suited my taste preferences. I also enjoyed the variety of beers on tap, as well as the selection of wines. In addition to the great drinks, the food was exceptional. I highly recommend this new bar. The service was top-notch, the drinks and food were fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect. I will definitely be back soon!

What a lovely cosy place! The beef burger was delicious! My kids loved it! Most important thing was the price is so cheap!

This is a fabulous upgrade from the previous pub. It has tremendous service and the food is simply delicious,I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to have a nice night out.

One of my favourite pubs in Brighton; great central location, but feels cosy & welcoming. Friendly, appreciative staff who have catered to my needs every time I've been there. The food is top notch too- even a simple jacket potato- it does the job!
