The best sandwich ever! We both had sandwiches on the freshest most delicious granary bread. I had avocado halloumi with chilli jam😋 my husband had bacon Brie and cranberry. The fillings were very generous and they were served with a lovely side salad and ‘posh’ crisps! We both had a latte to drink which were expertly executed and served with a melt-in-your-mouth shortbread. For dessert we shared a scrumptious cruffin a wonderful light pastry with custard in the middle 👌🏻 The lovely lady at the counter was extremely friendly and helpful, the deli shop is well stocked with a great array of local produce. We had the most enjoyable lunch, would highly recommend and will definitely be back. 5 stars is not enough they deserve 10!🤩

Wonderful little Cafe and deli. Some little tables outside in the courtyard but also some undercover which was great as the weather was rainy when we came. Even little blankets provided. There was so much choice and everything looked (and tasted!) delicious. Between us all we had a sausage roll, frittata, quiche, jacket potato and salad - all so tasty and fresh. We also had some of the yummy cakes too. Highly recommend visiting this place! Very friendly staff too.

We visited Truffles whilst on a day out shopping to Ross...beautiful individual little cafe and the lady who was serving on the cake / deli counter was an absolute delight...happy..friendly and very welcoming. A pity the same cannot be said of the man at the rear of the shop taking the food orders....he was miserable...surly and we got the distinct impression he didn't want to be there and he didn't care about making that blatantly obvious to us either.....rolling his eyes in irritation when my partner dared to ask about the salads and what was in them. He made us feel that our very presence irritated the hell out of him. I doubt that we will be returning to Truffles not that it would concern or bother this miserable man I am sure.

Visited here for lunch. My husband had a sausage roll which unexpectedly came with a lovely side salad. I wasn't hungry so just had an Americano. I asked for a weak coffee, when it arrived it was very strong. The wonderful lady serving changed it immediately. She couldn't have been kinder. The weaker coffee was superb. My husband was quite happily eating his sausage roll when the same lady came and said he had been given the plain pork, instead of the pork and chorizo sausage roll he had ordered. He said it didn't matter and he was quite happy with what he had. However, this wasn't up to the standard Truffles reach and the same lady came back with the said Pork and Chorizo roll, packed for my husband to take home free of charge. How rare you get such great food, great surroundings and astoundingly first class service all in one place. We will definitely call again and recommend Truffles wholeheartedly.

If you can manage to get a table in the Secret Garden (up the alleyway next to the shop, not that secret) you are in for a treat, covered by vines it is such a lovely area to enjoy a spot of lunch in. On a weekend morning in hot weather, the shaded courtyard run by Truffles is perfect. Luscious vines and sensible planting make it an oasis. The staff make a wonderful contribution to the mellow vibes. Then there is the food; we had sweetband savoury pastries with coffee and we're left sated and delighted. Tasty, thoughtful and well appointed, this place is a delight. In 'normal' weather there will be sun, covered areas and an attractive inside seating area. Can't speak highly enough of this option in Ross.

After we got back to symonds yat we drove to Ross for a very late lunch and found TRUFFLES deli and cafe OMG the food there was fantastic. If you are going to canoe from Ross to symonds yat definitely recommend (a quick 5 min walk into Ross town from the launch point) to pick up a picnic lunch from TRUFFLES to take with you the food will be some of the best you’ve had in a long time. There were gluten free cakes, dairy and gluten free cakes and gluten free choices for all sandwiches and other meals. The bedside manner of course made us buy lots of goodies after the lunch which shows just how much the interaction with the serving staff increases profits for those working in such cafes. Fantastic 'home made' cakes as well. My only constructive criticism / warning is that they only have two tables to eat in with - which could be solved by having one sales point (avoiding disjointment / confusion) perhaps by moving the cake stand to the back to free up space in the front for a few more tables, waitress served. Just a thought!

I have been to Truffles numerous times and always find the staff to be extremely friendly and hardworking - and always smile even when very busy. The choice of local produce is fantastic. The sandwiches are delicious and the meal deal is excellent value for the quality you get. I have also used them for an outside catering lunch of four people and the platter was substantial and the quality faultless. The cafe they have up the side passage way is lovely too for the summer. Definitely pop in here when in Ross you wont be disappointed - and you will definitely want to return for the sandwich selection!

Easily the best for miles around in choice, quality and service. Their cheeses are exceptional as are the home made cakes and pies.

Ross is very lucky to have Truffles! Not only is it an award-winning deli, supplying delicacies from around the world and showcasing magnificent local produce, but if you penetrate deeper into the back of the premises, you will find that it also does a mean lunch. The soups are delicious and wholesome, and there is a bewildering selection of sandwiches, toasties, pies etc. to choose from. You can take out or eat in, and there is a lovely little garden for summer lunches. Portions are generous in size, served by a really wonderful, enthusiastic staff.

We stopped in this little town to break our journey but found this little deli cafe that is a destination in itself. The aroma of something gorgeous from the kitchen greeted us when we opened the door and we weren't disappointed. The sandwiches were so substantial and delicious they could tide us over till the morning. Everything looked fresh and tasty - salads, cakes and an impressive sandwich menu plus all sorts of packaged goodies and bottles of interesting drinks. It is a food lovers paradise and is not expensive. The place is obviously popular with locals and with good reason.

Found this little gem when passing through Ross on Friday. So glad we walked all the way to the back and found there were tables. Delicous salads. Good, prompt service. Lovely menu with lots of choice, particularly for sandwiches which judging by the foot traffic, the locals seemed to know about! Worth actually diverting in to Ross for.

A nice range of cheeses in the deli counter, along with meats, pies and pastries. The sandwich/salad bar looked good too. The staff know their stuff about cheese, and can advise on what might tickle your palate. Very good.

Had intentions and eagerness to visit Kiki’s for the first time after finding it online. Drinks were lovely. Mocha was a perfect warming beverage for the rainy day. Partner enjoyed his tuna panini soo much he ordered another! Staff are incredible and comforting when speaking to. A friendly environment with the occasional doggies!

Popped in to meet with a friend. I decided on breakfast and had poached eggs on toast with smashed avocado and bacon. It was superb. Good coffee too.

We've just finished an amazing salmon and avacado salad, Caesar salad and fully loaded fries. All freshly cooked and tasted superb. Great place to grab a proper bite to eat.
