Just visited this cafe for lunch. The place itself is dirty and needs a good clean. I had pea and ham soup for £9 so was expecting something quite special. Unfortunately this wasn’t to be the case. I’m convinced my soup was made from mushy peas and had chopped up supermarket ham piled on top. Expecting some nice bread to accompany it I was again disappointed to see a small brioche bun that had been heavily toasted to hide the fact it was in fact stale. Save your money and go somewhere else !!!

We went here the day after the Times said this was one of the top ten beach sides cafes in the country so we had high expectations despite some of the poor recent reviews as to indifferent service. As to the latter,service was fine in both of our visits.Food ? Monkfish tacos and the halloumi wraps had my vote. And ask for a 50pence for the loo !Everyone does !

After being tipped off by a local to Padstow we visited Trevone while The 'Stowes' were playing. A local band. The atmosphere was magical, sea views with a sunset while listening to old folk music, really impressive band. While we were there we ordered pizza, we were told there was an hour wait as they were busy but the pizzas were very tasty with fresh toppings! Will be keeping an eye out on future events while we visit! very cool!

This spot is the perfect location with well suited food from their full breakfasts to well balanced street food menu during the lunch and evening. We found the staff really friendly and helpful and enjoyed spending most nights on their terrace at the bar. My only advice is to ask the staff if you need the toilet as they will give you 50p, instead of using your own. Will definitely be returning next year!

This place is such a lovely spot. The Beach, the food, the friendly team. It’s brilliant!! Sadly, what really lets this place down and my low score are the toilets. They are awful. Having to pay 50p is one thing (which I wouldn’t mind) if the toilets were in anyway nice. They are disgusting and after having drinks at the bar you need the toilet quite a bit. Please please please sort the toilets out!! It stops me from going to the bar, beach. I am sure they do not reach hygiene standards. No toilet paper, out of order toilets, unclean, nothing works…. So so sad 😕

Such a beautiful area & a lovely beach bar & cafe with a great atmosphere blighted only by the most rudest of staff. I ordered coffees & breakfast rolls in the morning. The young man taking the order could not have been anymore hostile, totally disinterested in questions I asked, he was the most offhand person I’ve ever met, not just to me but those around him too. A lady asked for directions for the toilet whilst he served me, he dismissed her horribly & literally rolled his eyes at her, she later told me he made her feel very small & insignificant. The coffees however were delicious as well as the food so I decided to give it a second chance & a large group of us headed for snacks & drinks about 4pm after a day at the beach. I asked a waitress where I might find a menu, yet again I was treated with utter contempt & told to look right in front of me as the choices were on a blackboard. At that point we upped & left over to Lusty Glaze Beach Newquay for pizzas & drinks until late into the evening & hundreds of pounds later where we had the most magical of evenings with incredible service. My question to the staff at the Trevone Beach Cafe is…… Why work is hospitality if you can’t be hospitable?

Fab place for coffee, beers, pizzas & cocktails - lovely atmosphere though quite pricey. We used it for coffee and ice creams during the day and had some nice pizzas and drinks in the evening, they had a good selection of gluten free options too!

Lovely little eatery. Fantastic breakfast with beautifully cooked smooth egg… It’s small and will get busy on warmer days as was already busy on an overcast one… When asking about customer toilets they didn’t have any but did give my mum the entry fee for the ones in the car park - what fantastic service…

Great food at this place it’s a shame that a few of the staff including the owners son act like privileged adolescence. I was also pushed out the way, ignored and treated like an inconvenience. Bad vibes from an belligerent management mindset. Bit backwards really….

If I'm correct Trevone Beach Store own the land on which a car park, managed by Alliance Car Parking is situated. If this is untrue I'm happy to be corrected. If you've read any Trip Advisor or Trust Pilot reviews on Trevone Car Park you might want to consider parking elsewhere. Worth checking out.

Quiet and secluded this beach cafe is a must off season treat. Lovely chatty staff who served us promptly with delicious coffee and a perfect breakfast. With the sound of seagulls and a near deserted picturesque beach could you ask for much more? Walk up to ‘the hole’ for a heat racing experience - just don’t fall in!

Came in for a couple of coffees after a beautiful beach walk and were completely ignored! A member of staff pushed past my mum and actually stretched across us to get something while we waited by what we assumed was the counter but there was so much mess on it and nobody acknowledged us at all it was hard to tell. Still no offer to sit down, or advise as to how to order. There were only a couple of people sat at tables - it wasn’t busy. When we asked a member of staff who went to walk past us again whether we could order, she told us to sit at a table and she would come and take our order. She did, and the coffees were fine although why my mum’s flat white was significantly smaller than my latte I do not know. Mum went to pay after we quickly drank them and again had to prompt someone who didn’t even say thank you when she paid. I grew up in Cornwall and know the value of customer service in a seasonal resort - this was appalling and we won’t be returning.

Every coffee, pizza, ice cream and evening meal we managed to squeeze into our weeks stay in Trevone was perfect. Such an all round brilliant venue with the most stunning Cornish backdrop. Love the tunes too! Well done everyone involved in Trevone beach cafe, your doing a great job! Thankyou!!

A great cafe and shop, all reasonably priced. I hired a body board for £10 for the day and got my daughter some warmer stuff to wear as well. Just be aware cafe gets busy and you can queue. Toilets are seperate and you need to pay 50p per time

Beach bar with great vibe and music to match. People drifting in and out of the bar after surfing, body boarding, walking the glorious coastal path. Didn't eat there but the pizzas looked delicious. We went back!!

Fabulous food - pizzas that were delicious and mushroom linguine exquisite, so many mushrooms! The staff were really friendly and polite. Definitely worth a visit.

Great terrace, local beers and ciders, fairly short menu with choice of scones, bakes, burgers etc. Can recommend the pasties and the cheesy chips with a glass of cold wine.

Whether having breakfast after a swim, pizza in the evening or just a coffee we have always had good food and a good welcome. Dogs are welcome and they are not sniffy about sandy feet!

Asked if the cafe was still open for food and the waiter didn’t seem to know and asked someone else. Food was ok, nothing special and waiting service was ok. Asked about getting an ice cream and were told there was an ice cream kiosk in the shop next door. Once eventually in the shop after a lot of confusion, it was packed and no staff monitoring the door despite at least three of them chatting in the cafe area doing very little until one of them came rushing through panicking that there were too many people in the shop. Entry and exit signs need to be clearly marked for the shop rather than just an arrow system for the takeaway service.Staff in the kitchen should also realise that when the window is open, customers sitting outside can hear every word, including the incessant swearing. Wasn’t impressed with the overall attitude tbh. Scrawled on the toilet door was a request not to prop the door open (costs 50p a turn) but also said it was one of the only open public toilets in Cornwall open (wrong) with a threat to close them if the door wasn’t closed between uses. Wouldn’t mind, but they were hardly what anyone could call clean and it came across as though customers and visitors were being done a massive favour and that we should have somehow been grateful.

me and my girlfriend came down the start of the month for a holiday and fell in love with this place, visited 3 times in the 1 week we were there. staff were amazing and the so were the pizzas (of which you sorted some vegan cheese for us) people staying they are overpriced obviously just dont understand good ingredients and the value of fresh handmade food. The view, the atmosphere and the live music just tops it all off beautifully. It would be worth the 4 hour drive just to visit this place again.just want to say a massive thanks for being so awesome! A beautiful place to eat or simply have a drink. The staff are acceptional. Specially during these times they are making good effort to keep everyone safe which makes me want to go back more. With confidence. The staff make you laugh, are helpful and give such a good atmosphere.

We called to place an order to be told no orders over the phone, so went down and ordered 2 pizzas which took 60 mins to make as theyd taken an order for 11 pizzas but didn't warn of the long delay. Watching the guys creating the pizzas then putting them in the pizza oven was a crash course in fast food prep.When we got them home they were very poor, base was still raw, smothered in thick layer of tomota that needed thinning, heaps of cheese, then a few mushrooms on one and nibles of meat on the other. End result was the bin had as much as me anxd the wife.On a positive note the staff did apologise and offer a free drink.

Arrived at the cafe and queued for a short time. The food menu was positioned outside with food available but without prices. Me and my son chose a burger each. My wife and daughter chose a panini each. No drinksThe lady taking the order was unhelpful and curt. She didn’t know if the chef could put onions on the burger. She seemed to ask me to repeat everything I said twice even though I speak clearly! A receipt for the order was problematic. The price - £33.80. Each burger was £12.95! It just seemed like a con. The food was actually ok.I understand they may have struggled over the past few months - but this won’t help their cause. We won’t be visiting again.

I love this little cafe, great location, friendly faces, well stocked shop and fab takeaway pizzas. Covid has put a lot of strain on them and I really want it to survive .However, my son bought two takeaway hot chocolates yesterday at a cost of £8!! The trouble at those prices is, we will now think twice before letting him have another one and we will be more likely to bring a flask of coffee to the beach rather than buy take out. Ditto sandwiches. I just feel that they might be shooting themselves in the foot if they don’t review them.

Brought down friends to stay for the weekend and just kept on dropping in to the Beach Cafe.All the staff were super friendly and very helpful. The service is friendly and the offer of a decent ice-cream and cup of coffee is more than enough after a long beach walk. There is ample seating outside where dogs are welcome and a shop in addition to the cafe area.

This is an ideal stop place to stop for a coffee if doing the Padstow circular walk via Stepper Point. It is then about 2 miles back to Padstow via Farm tracks. Service is very good as is the coffee.

On the last Sunday of half-term week, Padstow was full (i.e. all the car parks...)! So we went in search of somewhere else, and took the 'no through road' to Trevone. Approaching the sea, there's a choice of car parks - we turned right and found a sign indicating a charge of £5. That's perhaps not unreasonable for people wanting to be there all day on on a summer's day, but it was already early afternoon, not to mention a brisk northerly wind! A quick chat with the hoodied young attendant resulted dreckly in payment of £2 for an hour or so...We walked on the beach: it was low tide but beginning to come in again, then climbed up rocks and steps to admire the view, before deciding that a hot drink in the beach cafe was required. There was a long wait for service, as we seemed to have hit a busy time.My partner chose hot chocolate, which was served in a French-style breakfast cup. She enjoyed it but said it could have been hotter. My pot of tea provided four small cupfulls, which was plenty, and it had a good flavour. We shared a large oaty/fruity biscuit.Others both inside and on the outside terrace were enjoying pizzas, paninis, etc., and we also saw what looked like a good cream tea. As we returned to the car, the recipient of the money had vacated his position - and the tamarisk was in bloom.

Ate here three times last week and we enjoyed three good meals with good choice of red wines and beers. Over the three evenings we indulged in beautifully cooked sea bass, crispy catch of the day, lovely cornish steaks , stuffed peppers and a pizza. Staff are friendly, welcoming and personal, you quickly feel that your custom is welcome and that they hope to see you again. The chef knows his stuff at the Beach cafe. - we went in for Pizza (as that is what is on the boar), we were very pleasantly surprised to find a menu was on offer. What a find.

We popped in after waking by earlier in the day. It’s idyllically located overlooking the beach and the sea. They offer a wide menu ranging from breakfast, lunches and supper. They offer takeaway if you’re staying locally too! We had lunch. Their paninis and pizzas are absolutely delicious! The smell is enough to make you want to dine here. They service local beers, ciders and wine also. The perfect stop off, especially if you’re staying locally.

Located very close to the beach with a nice bright and airy interior with lots of local art (for sale). When we visited for lunch a good range of choices were available including salads and pizzas. Service was friendly and efficient. We ordered pizzas and found nice crispy bases and generous toppings. There's a nice shop next door too.

What a lovely cafe in a great location, nice food and the American waitress who served me was friendly and helpful. However, her colleague, who appeared to be In charge of staff was extremely RUDE with not an ounce of customer service! I was unfortunately served by this particular young girl on my second visit of the day. I do hope the managerial staff will give her the appropriate training!

I have visited this cafe a few times as we own a property down the road, and it's been ok, however the staff today were unhelpful and rude. No service with a smile I can tell you! The food served was inedible and tasted off and when I took my meal back the staff weren't bothered and thought it was just a matter of taste and declined a refund. They then showed me the 2 litre large bottle of Heinz salsa they had put on my food which explained why it tasted off. Nothing fresh about that food! I asked to speak to the manager and the moody staff said we don't know when he will be in and tried to leave it at that. I asked for their number so I could call and was barked at to look it up online! Well, I have never come across such unbothered, unhelpful staff! And I'm still hungry!

If I said service was very slow it would be an understatement, whoever runs this place needs to take a course in business management, if the sun is out & it’s a blazing hot day, & you have a que a mile long for ice cream it maybe an idea to put at least 3 members of staff on the stand, maybe one to take cash, and 2 to serve, instead of which we have one slow young girl doing everything whilst other staff members stand around doing nothing, not only would sales increase as a result but they would have happy customers, it really isn’t rocket science is it? Likewise in the cafe, how about having a mobile order pad so someone can take orders from the que whilst they stand there for 20 mins or so waiting to put in an order for a bacon roll, some business owners like this one who can only make money in high season days really need to make the most of the opportunities that come along, I’m amazed they are even in business...

We arrived here at 10am it wasn’t that busy but decided to have breakfast as we had traveled 5 hours to get to padstow. Ordered 2 Cornish full breakfasts and 2 bacon rolls. By the time I paid to the time it came out was an hour, I couldn’t work out why it took that long. Food was ok but wouldn’t go back again
