Very average premier inn style pub …. No shocks but no surprises either if you are a regular to premier inns around the country

Great service and food, they even gave us a bottle of Prosecco after hearing it was our wedding anniversary. Would definitely visit again if we're in the area.

We turned up for an early dinner midweek and grabbed a table in the bar as the restaurant was full. We had no issue with this as the bar was nice and just ordered our food at the bar. I was pleasantly surprised with the food that we ordered. The steak was great, really tender and the accompanying items hot and tasty. We finished off with an ice cream sundae which was lovely. Staff friendly, prices very reasonable. Glad we came and would definitely return. Try and book in advance to guarantee a table as it gets busy.

Absolutely the best place to eat and drink. Staff are all so wonderful and friendly and the food is always fresh and hot and served in good time. All these negative people saying only 3 items on the menu were available, and the food was terrible don't know how they dare! The food is always 100% spot on along with the service and staff, 100% reccommend every time

After a long 12-hour drive, we stumbled into Treffry Tavern from our hotel, exhausted—but Dean completely turned our night around. His energy, friendliness, and great service were exactly what we needed. He made us feel welcome and brought a great vibe to our evening. Highly recommend stopping by, and if you’re lucky, Dean will be the one serving you!

Friendly staff, clean restaurant. Only disappointment is that some of the menu items were not available and the offered substitutes didn't seem very like for like in terms of value.

A lovely evening! Delicious, reasonably priced food that was served in no time at all and with the most friendly given service! Tracy was who attended to us and we were made to feel very welcome indeed. She was very professional throughout, very cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. She’s a credit to a wonderfully run tavern! Thank you! The only issue we have is there isn’t an option to give beyond 5 stars; double that and make it 10! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This place was very good. We booked for a midweek lunch and opted for the £5 menu to see how it came out - quite simply very well indeed. The Cheeseburger was said to be excellent and was much larger than others we've come across. My partner's Spicy Chicken Breat Burger was perfect - just spicy enough and very succulent and she enjoyed the skin on chips. My own Jacket Potato with Chili Beef was equally excellent; large potato, maybe could have had a touch more chilli but for a fiver that would be nit-picking. Overall a very enjoyable meal with excellent friendly service and a bill of less than £25 for the three of us including drinks. We will certainly be going back again

Cracking hotel just outside Newquay with easy bus into town. Plenty of onsite parking too. Will be returning again,and highly recommend.

Warm friendly welcome and shown to our table, where our waitress Doon came to take our drinks order. Then took our food order, food came out in good time. Good atmosphere here, a good variety of food and drink, something for everyone. The four of us had a lovely evening.

Really great place to meet friends and have a meal that doesn't cost the earth! Great menu selection including the Christmas specials. Great service from Dean - nothing was too much trouble! Will be returning!

2 part review: Part 1: Breakfast: Great. Food was fresh, you have cereals, breads, toasts, and drinks on buffet, and your cooked part (bacon, eggs, etc.) is ordered and brought to you. Morning staff were friendly and welcoming. Seated too close to other families, so we couldn't hear each other talking. Part 2: Dinner: Terrible!! Arrived 38mins before closing time, had booked a meal deal with our stay, the evening staff told us that the kitchen was closed. Premier Inn concierge tried to help us, but the Tavern was insistent that they were closed for food. We got trusty McDonald's instead. Cme back for a drink 15mins before the bar closing time only to be told they too were closed now, last call was already made! On a Friday night! Avoid this place if you think you'll get a friendly welcome and lovely meal after a 4hour drive.

Stayed in the Premier Inn just last week & enjoyed the meals at the Treffry Tavern for the 3 nights of our trip. On 2 of those days we were served by a brilliant gentleman called Dean who put us immediately at ease. He was always cheerful & professional & a credit to the tavern.

Enjoyed the food. Service was very good. Will return.

Awful service. Our designated table was dirty with plates @ our booked time so had to wait 5/10 mins for it to be cleaned. They didn’t have half the things on the menu. Only half deserts available and no roasts at 2pm on a Sunday! The wait wasn’t worth the baddddd over cooked food. Staff are absolutely miserable and unapologetic. Wouldn’t suggest coming here. If it was 5pm on a busy Sat I’d understand but it’s 2pm on a Sunday with more than half the restaurant empty ?

Would give more stars if i could as it well worth unlimited stars Had the unlimited breakfast for £10.99 the poached eggs were amazing very well cooked and the items were very fresh and locally sourced The staff were amazing friendly and helpful went above and beyond to help All round a amazing experience would deffo eat here again would deffo recommend here for anyone who wants a meal.out

Service very slow or not at all for the near table , asked for time to order never came back. Asked for tomato sauce never came back , having to go source your own condiments not on. Sat there waiting to pay bill still nobody around. Experience hit and miss very much like the service.

We were able to book online & specify we needed a table with space around it as my powerchair is 150cm long. Plenty of space to manoeuvre inside around other tables which I liked. They recognised me on arrival, we were put in a little bay with just two tables which meant I wasn't in the way of anyone passing. As usual, my powerchair was too high to use the table but a manual chair user should be okay. They do have some tables set into a bay that wouldn't suit chair users who cannot transfer, so be aware when booking. Service was friendly & fast. Food was just okay, we both had a roast. Sadly pigs in blankets (7) & cauliflower cheese (small bowl full) were separate add ons, which I was surprised at. The portion was generous enough. I heard they had run out of turkey just after us, but they cooked a chicken break for another table to replace it as she only ate white meat which is accommodating. Unfortunately we couldn't use my support workers blue light discount card as she couldn't get into the app (terrible WiFi) despite her being able to log into her work app showing she was on shift with me. Be aware the air conditioning was on full blast. Both of the tables in our bay commented as it was making the food cold. I'm unsure if they acted on our request as it never reduced but we didn't mention it again either. Next time I need to try dessert.

Been here a few times now to have family meals. Although the food portions are reasonable for the cost, the staff are approachable and the service is generally good. I can't say it's anything special or more than standard pub grub.

Went to have a dinner with a friend, but found very poor service. Only 3 items available from 12 items on menu. Finished our drinks and went elsewhere. Don't waste your time.

We were staying in the premier inn , and we decided to have a meal here. Fast service, friendly staff and fantastic food. Plenty on the menu to choose from. Definitely will be coming here again when we are next in Cornwall.

Food was superb very fresh and the service second to none. Dean was absolutely a credit to your organisation and went above and beyond to make sure our visit and food was great. Would definitely recommend! We will visit again next time we're in Newquay

3 stars as no signal even when I paid for the premium WiFi the signal didn't make it to my room it wouldn't of bothered me if I was with my family but I was at work and need the WiFi connection

We come here on our holiday and we had Tracey serving and looking after us. She was so happy and one of the nicest people we've met on our time away, she made our time away much better. The food here was absolutely unreal. The best we've eaten in a very long time it was piping hot and the perfect amount for the 5 of us, the kids meals were a good size and kids asked to come again. So we come here the day after too and this time was looked after by dean he was very polite and cheerful and again made us feel so welcome. We chose different meals this time and they were unreal again!! I would highly recommend this place to everyone. The food and people were lovely! And kids meals £6.49 for 3 courses, proper bargain!

The food and service were good, but the restaurant was freezing cold due to the air-conditioning. We finished the meal and took our drinks to the bar area, hoping to be warmer, but it was just as cold. We then went home.

Only ever 2 people working, 1x restaurant and 1x bar. They need more help. They mean we'll but slow.food is ok, but table table need to up their game. Outside areas need cleaning more regularly

Ok apart from misus walking in and guy say sorry were fully booked so I go onto web site and booked a table for 1 hour later

I was visiting Newquay with 2 friends and we had booked to have all you can eat breakfast in the Hotel restaurant for 5 mornings which was excellent value for money. The menu included cooked as well as a continental breakfast and was laid out with fresh products every morning. Our cooked food always arrived hot and plentiful offering high quality produce. I highly recommend Table Table @ Treffry Tavern for their breakfasts. 😁 On one of the mornings they were very busy and the level of service was fantastic, ensuring all their guests were well looked after. Well done to lovely Donna and her team, they were very attentive to our needs so much so we plan to visit again next year. Usually go every Sunday and the food is delicious. Went with the family for festive meal. It was very disappointing. Prawn cocktail was way too vinegary, steak was overcooked. Service was SHOCKING, over half hour wait for each course. It wasn't even busy!!!! Will not return over Xmas period... Sundays probably...

Interesting place with lots of nice food and alcohol. I particularly enjoyed the mixed grill with the extra 8oz rump and peppercorn sauce. Have a look at the pub across the road with the bright blue lights, you can see them for miles 🫣🫣🤣🤣

Very good value for money with 2 for one meal. Quality excellent especially for the price. The staff were great & still had time to speak with you even though they were busy.

Ordered a large carvery and it came out cold, also my father in law ordered a regular and that came out cold too. Also large carvery had the same amount of food as a regular one had. Thought this was a good idea to have some food here, but wasn’t very nice. Dont go there.

Great server, cannot remember his name, but he had warmth and personality. A couple of items were unavailable, which wasn't a problem, but I don't think it sounds good. The food is staple brand food, but it was tasty and value for money. Would I return, yes.
