I am a regular customer but on 07/07/2024; I tried placing an order over phone for collection. The attendant, after keeping me on hold for 3minutes came back and was very rude to me. I am very sad and I would never patronise tops pizza ever again

If you are black and have kids, please, I will advise you not to go get pizza from these guys. I got a real live racist treatment or was it pedophobia from the salesman on Sunday 23/6/2024. His attitude was so put-offish that my kids had to ask us to run. Not as if the pizza was anything special.

Terrible customer service. It’s either the guys over the phone do not understand English or they are so impatient. They always sound so rude and impatient and barely get to listen to the person speaking.

When people order a supersize pizza please include more then 1 dip its not enough.. dont be cheap

I was shocked at how unprofessional the staff is at this store. I called the store to make an order and the employee that was taking my order was very rude on the phone and inpatient. He took my order and then at the end i asked him for a thin crossed pizza and he refused to do it and ended the call without saying anything. I tried calling again and again but nobody answered the phone. I have made orders even before and the food hasn’t really been that good it’s been uncooked and the toppings I wanted they didn’t put. I don’t recommend to anyone going to this rudeness & unprofessional place.

We had ordered for half and half pizza. While pizza was good we found a hard substance that looked like black olive. Thankfully my elder kid did not have that slice which I am not sure what would have happened. There were 2/3 such hard substances in two slices . The video gives more details

Ordered Pizza a couple of times recently. Pizza, and sides are always delicious and delivered hot. Customer service when you call about a query feels a tad off. but I've experienced a lot worse off food places. For Pizza Delivery, Quality and temperature 4*

At one slice of pizza absolutely loved. It went into my second bear pizza took a bite as I was taking a bite hair colon of hair. I thought it was the cheese but cheese string, but it was a clunk. It was disgusting. I called them up after it happened Explain to them and put the phone down on me so no I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone because you don’t know what you’re gonna get inside the pizza

I ordered a chicken pizza and the chicken smelled so bad also I there was a big piece of plastic in one of the slices which was shocking! This could cause serious harm to the body!!

The staff here really need training on customer service. Absolutely disgusting service. I was a regular customer for pick up but had to place for delivery today. Human error I put my mobile number in wrong by mistake and did not realise, and when the driver finally arrived with my order he spoke very rudely made a rude comment even though I apologised about the number issue?and not to mention before all this he tried to enter my flat before even knocking? There is cameras in my building so I think more than anything I can report him to the police but when I tried to the call the number of the Wokingham Road branch to make a complaint I was spoken to again very rudely and threatened with police action? For what sorry? The address was there full and correct it’s not rocket science to follow a map even if my mobile number was wrong? Anyway somehow the delivery guy made it all the way up to my flat without being let in by me anyway so I don’t understand what his issue was even when I apologised before anything, it’s just something I did not realise. Very disappointed as this was my favourite pizza place but will not be ordering from now on.

Found chocolate peanuts in two chicken tikka pizza slices and a cardboard paper piece in another slice. Called the branch to raise a complaint and they say they don’t have nuts and chocolate in their kitchen so not sure how it was in our pizza. We’ve been asked to contact the head office because they can’t give us a refund. Ridiculous service and such an awful experience!

We had a pizza with foil object hidden underneath in cheese. I spoke with manager and was told they can’t do anything. He didn’t even offer an apology. No customer service

called the store to speak to the manager to tell them they made a mistake on my delivery. The manager spoke to me extremely rude and very effective, he then told me not to order again and put down the phone. Me owning a business myself would never speak to anyone like this, I put so much business through these guys and this is the way the manger spoke to me. I won't ever be order again from there's guys. I only called to let them know the mistake because previously the same thing happened and the owner tried to blame me and I was just letting him know that the same mistake again was made. I didn't ask for no refund or for the driving to come back out to drop my items off again but buy the time I could even finish my sentence they guy raised his voice and was extremely rude and offence. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THESE RUDE ARROGANT GUYS!

Rudest person on the phone - I had an order and wanted to know if ready to collect and was telling there are “no orders to collect and he’s busy and I can’t seem to understand that” and hung up. This is despite getting a confirmation order that my order was received. Total trash service. Rude person. Don’t order from him!

One of the best pizza places in town, but the customer service is so dreadful, very rude staff well specially one person who normally picks the phone when calling through the phone to make an order, they don't even listen to what you have to say keep saying order online though many time the online ordering system don't work, you can't customize pizza which are on deals, like if you are allergic to something you can't make the change. The online system is one of the worst. Changing my review from 5 to 2. Because of the worst customer service it happened many times thus the change, hopefully management makes some changes with the customer service.

The food is usually 10/10 But today we tried to order online using cash the gentleman called us and said he was not sending our order because he did not believe we would pay (cash) then hung up not giving us any chance to talk, we called back he said “he knew we where not going pay” we have ordered a few times but through just eat we only had cash today and no money on cards.. it was just a shame the “manager” has no customer service skills

The tandoori chicken pizza is incredible not greasy whatsoever arrived hot and tasting fantastic to someone who usually can't stomach any food at all was gorgeous. Potato skins with cheese and bacon hot and delightful. Only complaint sauces could of been a bit colder but otherwise can't fault a thing

I ordered two pizzas, after 1 hour waiting they said that the pizzas were delivered, they charged me for the pizzas, when I called they were insanely rude, they didn't give me any explanation and they hung up on me, I called 4 more times, they hung up on me man, then my husband called, crooks and dishonest said they called me, when they heard my voice they hung up on me, we ran out of pizzas and money! I left a review on just eat, they are dishonest, they deleted it! DO NOT BUY HERE!

We ordered and the “boss” who is supposed to be professional was full of attitude with us, put the phone down then when we went into the shop to see why this had happened he shouted at us and was very rude. DONT ORDER from this disgusting place. The Pizza is terrible and overly priced massively. Well done Tops Pizza you should not be in business.

Just about the worst customer service I have ever come across. Rude, ignorant staff and I will be reporting this to top's pizza head office. The guys remarks on the phone were racist towards white people and will also be reported to police

Very poor service. Pizza arrived 45 mins late even though ordered at 6.30pm for a delivery for 7.45pm and had to go to the store to find out where the pizza was. They won’t pick up their phone. The guy at the Reading store was not even apologetic of the poor service or the delay as if he didn’t care. Not ordering again. There is a reason why people order from better places than having such poor experience.

Very disappointed as they use to be my favourite pizzas but taste mushy inside now so wont be coming back soon.

As someone who recently moved to the area I was very disappointed. I’ve visited other Tops and have been super happy, but this one was awful. Ordered bbq chicken wings and received plain wings and one small sauce pot. The pizza was alright but i think went cold due to the distance which i wont blame anyone for but ultimately the meal was not overtly enjoyable, at previous Tops with the same delivery time this has not been the case. The delivery instructions i left were simple and ignored. To top it all off, the driver gave me the food and literally ran back to his car, didn’t even give me a chance to check i had everything. Terrible service. Wont be buying again.
