The worst business I have ever seen, the guy at the cash register is very offensive, he constantly asks if cash is valid or not. They constantly bother people, they kick them out before the closing time is up, their drinks are terrible, there was hair in their drinks. I do not recommend it to anyone who goes, it is a complete money trap, the drinks taste very bad.

It's really a bad business, the owner is very offensive, the people waiting at the cash register are constantly scolding. They charge too much. The sitting times are very short, it has a very bad atmosphere, the drinks taste terrible. I don't recommend it at all, I regret going there, and they charge a sitting fee and add it to the bill. Such a place should definitely be closed.

Very very poor service here!!! The cocktails are terrible. Very watered down and no flavour. The staff are very rude and confrontational which is shame as this could be a great place to spend family time. Considering how much money we spent here it was very disappointing to receive such poor service!!!! We won’t be coming here again!!!

This is a best place to chill out in Summer . They are always set up during summer , good music , good beers , good cocktails . They don’t serve popular lagers but they have good beers on tap . The prices are a bit expensive but hey nothing is cheap . The bartenders are always happy and nice place to relax with your loved one . Highly recommend it .

The place is good, everything is decent enough, but the COCKTAILS are DISGUSTING. I’ve never tried such a terrible Margarita anywhere (hell sour, with a chemical taste, buh. There’s probably an option to try better beer.

Absolutely amazing experience here. I look forward to it every summer. The cocktails are to die, just so scenic as well, sipping on a pina colada with the girls by the river 😍. They’ve also added some great bites to their menu, caprese salad with some Prosecco has my entire heart. Service from the staff is also impeccable

Nice place with good drinking options, roof terrace has comfy seating area. Staff could be more engaging and not bored to be there otherwise pretty convenient location for a group drinks.

Sat right next to the water you can't miss it. It's the only bar with palm trees and a little bit of sand on the floor.. There's an upstairs as well as downstairs section. The surroundings are very nice, very " beach " like and you can almost imagine you're abroad ! However, what I will say is that my tequila sunrise was the weakest I've ever had, and I'd also like to add its not supposed to be fizzy !! Fix the drink making and you'll have a lovely bar !

Great place for drinks day and night. Location and Atmosphere is great. Unfortunately we had a ploughman's and wasn't so gd for £19. Not enough for 2. Only given one little lurpak butter for the bread. New staff didn't know how to make it up in the first place so took longer than it should.

Nice location, but it's the second time they charged more than what I ordered. Once can be a mistake, twice in a row you judge. Double check how much they are charging before tapping your card.

The bad experience I had yesterday in Beach Bar Reading was rubbish customer service. really sorry for a nice place like that but the staff is rude and unkind. They have been very rude! Shame for this place.

Been to the Beach Bar often, it is a fantastic place to have a drinks and nibbles by riverside. The staff are friendly and professional! I don’t have a bad word to say about the venue, staff, atmosphere or quality of drinks or food. It’s a lovely change from the monotony of the Reading riverside, kids love the beach sand & adults the vibe (& cocktails) Highly recommend the Mojito Beach Bar, Blazej, Monika & the Spanish couple are doing a fantastic job. Great place for a drink to chill and enjoy the sun in Reading

Staff look absolutely miserable and also my strawberry mojito was not served with crushed ice it was basically strawberry purée and water. I literally watched him pour bottled water into my glass. Rubbish don’t call yourself a bar if you can’t even make a mojito.

Drinks are overpriced but you are paying for a prime spot in the sun by the river. However I wouldn’t waste the time queuing to get served. 15 mins to get served when there was only 2 people in front of me. Staff look so unhappy and haven’t got a good serving system down.

After 2 hours consuming drinks, a worker came and told us very rudly that we had to leave as there was a reservation for "people who paid a lot of money for that table for that hour". There was no "reservation" sign or pre-warning. We had just ordered new drinks, and they offered no options, just told us we had to leave. I had to speak to 3 different people, all who kept insisting we just had to leave, until they gave us an alternative table, not even bothering to clean it. I explained to them how to have better service and handle situations like that in a less rude way, and they were super reactive, just saying they didnt have time for that as they dont have enough staff and they had to clean the table for the new customers. Awful people skills, horrible management. What a disapointment with this place.

It was a cool bar, until they kick you out of your table with no warnings. They don't mark reservations, so they can kick you out at any time. They won't even offer an alternative, just tell you that they have more important customers coming Super rude staff, poorly prepared to manage reservations and customer service, and not managed well at all.

Beach bar is a fantastic place to have a nice drinks and nibbles in Reading central by riverside. The staff is amazing, very friendly and professional! The team always welcome me with a smile and their service is always very good. The atmosphere is fabulous at all the times. The nibbles are very tasty. The place looks very tidy and smart. Rude bartender with over priced drinks. Ordered a large white wine, wasn't advised it only comes in a small serving but I was glad when I tasted how bland it was.

If I could give no stars I would, Mojito was a No-jito just juice from a bottle with ice, couldn’t drink it

The atmosphere , setting and live music is great, however the weeds which surrounds part of the area are not in keeping with the tropical vibe. Having spoken to the staff about this, it turns out the weeds are the responsibility of the Oracle shopping centre!! Come on Oracle sort it out!!

Today we had few drinks upstairs and the atmosphere was beautiful. The staff really attentive and kind, they helped me to make a nice drink for my friend which likes coconut. The last table from rooftop start to have an argument with one of the staff which disturbed our evening. The guy was rude to the girl serving and treat her very disrespectful. The live music was nice and made the atmosphere better. Definitely coming back.

Ok place to have a few drinks by the river but a bit expensive. They'll tell you its the cost of operating a pop-up concept in what is (for Reading at least) a desirable location. But for me and my friends, drinking out of plastic cups at London City prices is absolute overkill. I visited three of the best pubs in Knightsbridge a couple of days later, and not one of them charged as much for a pint of beer (in a glass) as this place does. Is their pricing structure a Mojito Beach Bar management issue, or a UK Government issue that they have to charge so much thanks to rules, regulations and red tape. Well the truth is it doesn't matter, the price is the price and that's that. If its too high for you, just dint drink there again....and I likely won't! The concept is good - as is the location - but not good enough for the price sorry guys.

Nice atmosphere some bar staff rude and no toilets but guy collecting glasses polite and cocktails weren't to bad but bit pricey for what you get would go back

I have been to Mojito Beach Bar several times and each time I have really enjoyed. The service is always nice and positive. Drinks are always prepared within couple of minutes. I will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

My husband and i visited reading and decided to have few drinks at this place. The ambiance is cool perfect for summertime felt like we were in island. great music too.

Nice place to sit outside right by the river and chill out. Cocktails taste good but they are not made fresh - just base alcohol added to a pre-made/store-bought juice mixture. First member of staff who served us genuinely seemed like she would rather be anywhere else.

This is a bar set up for the summer. It is complete with sand and palm trees right in the middle of the Oracle! Lovely beach cocktails available! Loved it!

I think the bar is in a nice location (centre of oracle Riverside) right next to the river, it has a great atmosphere. The staff are lovely and friendly and the drinks were great although they were expensive. Nice place to take friends and great for insta pics together!

The band Los gringos was amazing 5 stars there and the cocktails were tasty just the bar staff where so miserable. Not great service a shame really as its quite a fun place

I went there with my little sister at 3pm hoping to get a quick drink and mocktail or even a soft drink for the little one before our lunch booking and we were told to leave as she did not have ID. I explained that she is too young to have an ID and I am her sister as well as her legal guardian and the manager ( so I assumed) said that only a parent can bring children in. I was very offended because I am her guardian I look after her as my child and did not see why I was refused expecially at the time of day. I would of understood if it was later in the day. I will not be coming back child or not

Very standard drinks, nothing special apart from the palm trees, swings sand and by the river, if they played better tunes and better drink selections, that were fresh fruit would actually be lit.

Something different so worth a visit, bit pricey but no one forcing you to go there, nice atmosphere so give it a go.

Nice drinks, but the atmosphere was considerably ruined by young children being allowed to run everywhere. Plenty of other options along the Riverside with better offerings.

Too many people and very loud on Saturday night

We were on a hunt for one drink that night, Big Wave. We went all around Reading for the night trying to find this great tasting beer we heard about. On the way back to the car park, we thought we stop off at Mojito Beach Bar. We were delighted we saw big wave, the frothing at the mouth started as we stood there waiting to be served. Seeing the surf board on the back wall advertising big wave. We ask the barman two pints of big wave please. "Sorry we have run out" The whole build up to getting two pints of big wave was instantly taken away from us.
