today i was in this restaurant they gave my order in 20 minutes they are very racist and i want to say that this restaurant is very dirty and they cook food in very bad quality i dont know why the government doesnt monitor this top grill dont order there it is very terrible in the kitchen everywhere is a mess and dirty and they are racist

From someone that used to work there I suggest nobody eats from this place. It’s beyond dirty. They leave food out on the sides all night until the next day and serve it like it’s fresh. I’ve seen flies go on the food that they leave out. They also cross contaminate so don’t be surprised if you get bellyache. I had to leave that shop because it was a nightmare to work in and when I mentioned it to Carl he would get annoyed. They warm up food from the day before. He puts the ackee and salt fish in the dirty sink to cool down as if it’s hygienic. I don’t know how the shop is still open.

The best Caribbean shop in South East London. The dumplings are amazing. I love all of the cuisines. The customer service is at a high level.

You can argue if you want...but this is the best south east london jamacian spot. Period. I make trips from ireland to get some ackee and saltfish, fried dumplin, oxtail, and curry goat!

Dumplin full of oil. It’s so bad. They need to change their method or drain oil This place has become too pricey as well 1.50 for dumplin & 2.50 for pattie. This place used to be good. And don’t get me started on the service. They mess up your order and when you remind them, they don’t just apologise and keep it moving. They rather argue with you. Unprofessional

Had an order of oxtail rice and peas cost £20 i was so dissapointed your rice taste it on the fridge for weeks your oxtail full a salt not to say about the bones more bone actual meat your 1 spinners and few butter beans does not make sorry i ask mu friend to make that order for me will never ever recommend your service ever and i wish i could give a no rating so i gave you one star

The food at this restaurant is good but I noticed when the two black women are on duty the prices on items increase by a pound. This is not good for business as this put off customer. The owner needs to investigate this

Fantastic place to grab some authentic Carribbean food, chef is a talent! Whole heartedly recommend the cow foot stew with either white rice or rice and peas and definitely recommend the banana Mac and cheese 💪🧀;) MAC MAN.

Soggy rice not cooked to perfection. Chicken was ok but very cold food when I asked to get it warmed up. Pricing was not done right yesterday but I got served by someone who looked like new. Her customer service was not bad hence, two stars but overally I disappointed by the food quality, rice especially.

The worst brown stew chicken ever...... you mean fry chicken with tasteless gravy. Mac and cheese was mac with a block of cheese on the top!!!! Please this is not the way to cook Caribbean food.!!!!!!!!!! And I want be buying from AGAIN.

Best Caribbean takeaway in London. The dishes are perfectly cooked and flavoured. The prices are very affordable as well. Highly recommend.

Some of the best Caribbean food I’ve tasted. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful. A must try is the Jamcan Juice shot along with their fresh pressed juices.

Génial pas de mots les plats sont tellement bons. Épicés comme ceux de maman. L accueil est sympathique bien que l équipe soit discrète. Les prix eux sont abordables et les quantités très correctes. Franchement, je le recommande 👍🏾

Staff too lazy to update menu for online delivery service. I tried to order with both Ubereats and Deliveroo at 1.30pm and could not make an order because TOPS menu was showing all foods on their menu was 'SOLD OUT'' . I called TOPS and informed them of this, the guy who answered was rude and told me he can't take orders on the phone and he hanged up.. Staff are rude to customers face to face and on phone.

I have been going to Tops since I was in secondary school (2006). We used to buy their food because they had a lunch time special for school children. It was better than chicken and chips. Plus I’m Jamaican, so it’s nice to eat your food at times. I buy food from this location (Peckham) inconsistently since 2011 because I learned how to properly judge if a restaurant is able to cook good Jamaican food. My assessment is based on how they cook the most difficult dish on their menu. The oxtail. It was hard and too small. Yes, the gravy is nice and to those who are unaware of how Jamaican food SHOULD be cooked, would probably like and give good representations. It’s not good. The oxtail meat is supposed to be soft and cut to a medium size, otherwise you will be paying for the most expensive dish that only provides 4 mini oxtail pieces. Today I bough the cow foot because I was hungry and working next to it. I was born in Jamaica where we own a farm. I have never seen cooked cow foot with so much hair on it in my life! It had more black hair on the meet than most teenagers have on their face. (I have provided a picture for your own comparison) It is disgusting, I couldn’t even finish the food. What a waste. And the worst thing is that the person serving the food has a skin condition which means the dead skin on his face CAN fall into the food when he is serving. The reason I say this is because there were already flakes on his clothes. He says he’s the owners relative. That is disgusting. Imagine when I saw the hairs at first I assume it was his hair so I was looking for white flakes. To find that it was from the Cow (relived) but again I can’t be sure. I cannot eat another bite and it will be going in the bin. I give 1 star for longevity. I give another star for having Jamaican cooks and the third star because the shop is the only Jamaican shop in Queens Road. None of these stars relate to the food as I would have given it 2 stars for the food. 1 star would represents the rice and peas. And the other would represent the gravy served with the meat. Daphanie’s next to Peckham bus garage is better.

Visited the eatery earlier this evening...whilst under pressure the young lady delivered a great service we were impressed with her professionalism dealing with several customers amd uber eats all in one.....seamless service As for the food itself portion was served well enough for an hungry adult..we had oxtail and rice and peas with salad...I must say oxtail could have bn a little more flavour texture was good salad could be a bit more effort .. Atmosphere?..I would encourage owner to spend a little on furnish and decor..but yeah great service and value for money. I will be back

Jerk chicken is absolutely delicious . So juicy the chicken and moist, Tops never fails, had it over 8 times! I come back all the time

This was quite frankly the worst caribbean food i've ever tasted. I ordered rice&peas with oxtail and fried dumpling. All were very dry and tasteless. Don't waste your money on this.

Great and well priced Caribbean restaurant (there are a few tables but it’s more a takeaway). Love the goat curry and Jerk Chicken with rice and peas. It also has a large range of other Caribbean cuisine (although I have never tried other dishes as these are soo good) Service is ok but the restaurant is a bit tired. But really it’s all about the food, which is better than most other Jerk places this side of Brixton.

The food has been touch n go for last 2years...i have been there many times and had Mutton soup. However my last 3 occasions the soup was tasteless, just water amongst veg. what a Joke n rass disappointment. Not worth it.

Encontré este lugar cuando nos trasladamos a la zona - fantástica casa adobado cocinado pollo servido en recipientes plásticos con clingfilm para llevar (no salpicaduras!!). Realmente en el pack cantidad. Si ella pregunta si quieres picante la respuesta es siempre sí, es excepcionalmente bueno.

El Caribe llevar mixto ubicado donde crecí. He estado yendo a durante años ... siempre nos encanta el rabo y arroz!
