Morley's Chicken Shop in Southwark

One of the team was taking hot oil direct from a filter pan with no protective equipment. Very unsafe. Woman handling food didn't wash hands or wear gloves when taking cheese to put on burger. From someone who works in the food service industry these are major red flags, as there seems to be no concern for both team and customer safety, and food and health and safety. When I ordered, I watched fries put down, then out within 30 seconds, which means they were just reheating old, cold fries - recooking fries without proper procedures increases the risk of acrylamide, which in turn increases the risk of carcinogens (a cause of cancer). I understand that this establishment is generally used for late night/people who have been out drinking, but that doesn't excuse the complete lack of care and standards

Like 4 days ago I order the 3 peice chicken and chips meal. I had it ordered in from deliveroo. When I was eating it it tasted and looked really off and pink, I continued to eat it because I was honestly starving. For about 4 days now I've had really bad food poisoning. I'm not going to go into detail but it's bad. Please if you are gonna eat here don't eat their chicken.

After that ladies went out from store I am damn sure owner has to close this business? Extremely bad behaviour not only with customer but also with delivery drivers, need to be learn a lot

My experience in this infamous cave that is Morleys cannot be described. Whether in terms of the kitchen or the staff, everything was deplorable. the food was terrible, almost moldy. the service was slow and dirty and it stank of nail polish remover. I came out with psychological and physical after-effects. I almost wanted to lose my life and my sense of smell. I pray every day for the closure of this fast food restaurant, which is perhaps the worst in history.

It tastes exactly how it looks, unseasoned chips, soggy bun but dry on the inside burger, fried chicken is a major miss, definitely better options around for cheaper. Plus there’s no chairs to sit on

They changed the card minimum to £5 I'm extremely disappointed at this act as someone who doesn't always have cash how outrageous 😤

I bought a burger and found a fly in it and they have also increased the price from 2/3£ to 5£ absolutely ridiculous

The staff were extremely rude and very unhelpful. The chicken was in a filthy bucket and £4 for 2 pieces of chicken WITHOUT FRIES or drinks 2 mins before closing!! Inadmissible

This morley always closes early never sticks to time advertised. Very inconvenient

Food is good but on delivery orders, overpriced and often instructions aren’t followed (no sauce/etc)

It's perfect on price 👌 I love the food so does the family service is very good never had any issues so if a cheap tasty meal u need or want this is the go to place 😋
