I had the big breakfast, I had to have a doggie bag, there was so much, but it was a really good and tasty breakfast. Well worth going there to eat.

Breakfast was very cheap poor quality ingredients. Toast came spread, more like they dig the butter into the toast and scrape it around. Tea came from a pot where teabags constantly reused, just topped up with water. What I assume to be manager/owner barks orders at the staff whilst sat down at a table. Don’t bother

Stopped for a snack, tea was stewed and luck warm, bacon roll was nearly cold with the bacon having been cooked previously and then thrown on the flat iron to revive it, bread roll was nice because the staff had nothing to do with it. Was a regular stop for a cuppa, not any more, sure they will not miss me anyway but a pity it seems to have gone to pot. I noticed a change in staff from my last visit now appears to be a couple of youngsters.

Lovely staff and very clean café, food is cooked to order so always fresh and hot on arrival to the table. A good variety on offer also.

3 of us visited on Sunday 3 April. 2 had the All day brunch, really enjoyed it but couldn't finish it. I had the Small! Roast beef dinner which was exceptional. 8 different veg, gorgeous toasties and very tender beef. Unfortunately even the Small meal was too much! Would visit again next time in Dorchester. Wonderful place.

Possibly the best breakfast in Dorset if you're hungry. Nicely cooked and plenty of it. We will be back!

Whilst waiting to board our coach my partner wanted a coffee so we called in the cafe. She ordered Cappuchino and expected it to be made as everywhere else on a coffee machine but it was made with a cheap sachet and tasted foul. Also ordered a sausage roll that was grey and spicy inside and soggy having being heated in a microwave. The knife was dirty and the plate was dirty so after a couple of mouthfulls we walked out.

This will definitely be the go to cafe when in Dorchester. The food was nice, the prices were good and the portions were large and the staff friendly.

It's a real "greasy spoon" but good quality. Sunday morning filled with bikers ( all nice friendly people). Breakfast roll contains, two rashers of bacon, two sausages, fried egg and a load, I mean a load of mushrooms all for £4.50 and a mug of good strong tea £1. Unbeatable.
