Top 20 Cafe in East Riding of Yorkshire

According to the website the cafe was open until 4 pm. Arrived at 12.01 pm and was told that it was closed. The website urgently needs to be updated. Won't be trying it again whatever the reviews

We have been going to Top Twenty Cafe for a couple of weeks and have no complaints, great food great service, and fantastic atmosphere so will carry on going to the cafe when I'm in town on a Saturday morning

Our usual cafe was closed so we called in here for lunch, thought we had made a mistake at first, not the poshest place in town and we were served tea first which had a bit of a taste to it, I put it down to the local water. But when the food arrived (stew and dumplings, liver and onions) it was superb, the puddings were good too. people were nice and the prices are great. Won't be our last visit.

Had breakfast here for the 2 mornings we were in bridlington...everything was beautifully cooked..eggs perfect..everything nice and hot and nicely presented. Staff friendly. We will return next time in bridlington..and highly recommend it

Week on week the Sunday lunch provided by this small cafe remains exceptionally good, beef today was delicious and very tender, there are no shortcuts on vegetables and mash etc, all cooked to perfection, well done team Amanda

Friendly staff, great food, great service

gross, cheap powdered mash, given a free meal beacuse the yorkshire pudding was burnt on the last one and this one looks like a soggy burnt mushroom, cabbage is yellow and soggy, poor portion of meat. please do yourself a favor and avoid.

We visited on 27th February 2020 after a recommendation by our local butchers. We were apprehensive at first as our first impressions weren't great, however noticing that inside was pretty full we decided to give it ago. Well what can I say, the place was very clean inside, although dated but don't let that put you off. The staff were lovely and the place was full of locals (very good sign). We ordered a large breakfast and a ham & cheese toastie and some homemade chips which were beautiful and not the usual frozen rubbish. There was a real community feel to the place and it was quite apparent it's always busy as everyone knew everyone else. Will definitely be returning when we're in Bridlington next. Thank you ladys

Lovely fresh food on offer. And cater for the pensioners with meal and puds. Very reasonable prices. Staff very friendly and helpful. And are allergy aware so if your not sure just ask.

Great home cooked food and big portions

Top20 has now become our favourite breakfast cafe the sausage/bacon sandwich gorgeous the homemade chips is a must we can't recommend top20 highly enough from the staff to the food

Stumbled across cafe when going for a bus called in for coffee and bacon butty....wow really lean bacon and well cooked on a bread cake. With a coffee. Very reasonabley priced with 1.50 change from £5. In again today for lunch. Puddings look great too...

Me and my husband called here by chance we were on a day shopping and decided to have dinner here was wonderful food had homemade steak pie and was so good we even got a free desert with it good value for money ,we were on holiday for a week and found ourselfs back there another day and had liver and onions and didn’t disappoint was so good ....we are back over brid in June so look forward to calling in again

My friend and I go to bridlington once a month. We came across this little family run cafe the top20. And can I say the food was amazing. And the portion size was huge. Deffinatly great value for money. The staff were very plesant. We will be going back. Great place to eat a cooked dinner on a dull day

We come back to this cafe again after other cafes wasn't up to standard. Since going back twice to this cafe. We find the staff helpful and very friendly. We come from york to visit my auntie who has a disability. We go for a coffee first, then after some shopping. We go back for some lunch. Lovely bacon sandwich and sausage sandwiches. My auntie is fussy with food these days, so for her to eat all her bacon sandwich must of been good. Top 20 is a small friendly cafe and it's a cafe we go back to each visit.

Nicest cafe in town. Every time I’m working in Brid I make a point of going here for breakfast or lunch. Delicious food and the staff are amazingly friendly.

Home cooked food reasonably priced friendly service

Visited here a month ago during a day trip with my husband and two small dogs. We were made very welcome very clean cafe couldn't fault it. I had a breakfast and my husband had homemade steak pie and real chips not frozen good portions, and two teas for just over £10. Will be visiting here again on our next trip to Bridlington. Nice friendly staff and locals.

Situated right next to the bus station. Good food at a very reasonable price. Value for money.

We had eaten here a few times in the past and it didn’t used to be great in all honesty however a few months ago we decided to give it another try after learning it had been taken over and wow was we surprised! The food is superb and the atmosphere and service is very friendly. I recommend to anybody who has had previous bad experiences eating here to try it again, you will not be disappointed!

Amazing place to eat. Food is all fresh and tastes beautiful. Owners and staff are lovely and easy to get on with very friendly bubbly people really make you feel comfortable. I've never waited to long for my meal considering it's all fresh homemade meals.

We discovered this cafe on the way to Bridlington bus station and we were well impressed. The owners were friendly, professional, helpful and polite. The food was very delicious, (especially the scrumptious homemade chips - yum!). I really recommend this peaceful, friendly, hidden gem with lovely staff and good quality food. The prices are so reasonable too and the service is quick. Excellent stuff. This business deserves to thrive.

This cafe is not on a main road so was a delight to find. We’re closing up and cleaning the cafe when we turned up. Without hesitation invited us in, took our order which happened to be jacket potatoes. Made us right at home. Good food, good service, lovely people. Hope Amanda and Phil, the new owners, continue to make a living. They deserve it.

I spotted this little gem after getting of bus for a day visit whilst staying at Rosie’s retreat in Scarborough what excellent value for money this was the fried breakfast was excellent a big plus for me was it was chopped tomatoes I prefer them I believe customers should have a choice when wanting grilled or chopped tomatoes I’m coming back in August/September with my parents and sister and again in October with my friend Carole will definitely be bringing them look forward to seeing you again

Went to this cafe while in Bridlington for few days right next to bus station staff very friendly. clean place food was all fresh cooked and plenty of it if return to brid will deffo call again

This cafe is now under new management so please any reviews before November 2017 were of the previous owner...excellent food at fantastic prices go see for yourself and give this superb little cafe a visit.

Me and my partner visited here the other day I had the belly buster breakfast cob and the other half had a bacon butty and I will have to say I bloody loved it best breaky butty I had so far in brid had no qualms with service either lovely place lovely people

Excellent Service - We were there on the 1st Day Under New Management back in October 2017. The two ladies were so friendly and attentive to our dining needs. My Children Even Wrote Lovely Notes For them as a Thank You!!!

I've just over spent on 4 meals that were cold, they could not even get the order right we had to send some back. Thought we would give it a second chance as we'd been here before but the service was worse the second time around. Never again I would advise all to go to Boyes cafe.

This cafe has recently been taken over and while the meals remain good value the standard of management leaves a lot to be desired. This appears to be a family run business and when we visited it appeared that it was family who was dining there. The manageress was extremely foul mouthed, loud and obnoxious, shouting across the dining area to tell staff off. The daughter (I think) even exclaimed to her mother? that she didn't know how she had any customers. Shame though because other than the overbearing personality the food was great.
