Tonkotsu Shoreditch in Hackney

Popped in on a Saturday lunchtime to find the place really quiet, so we were seated right away. Service was great throughout our visit. I had a small portion of the chilli tiger prawn ramen. The size was perfect and the taste was great, though I note its made with chicken broth, which is a shame for a seafood-based dish. I would recommend changing this so the ramen can be enjoyed by people who don't eat meat - pescatarians do exist, after all! I'd also love to see some veggie options on the menu, not just meat-based and totally vegan. Restaurants who forget the diets in the middle risk alienating potential customer bases.

I can't imagine any nicer and more helpful staff members. The GM was so kind too. I would highly recommend the Jasmine Tea!

Very tasty ramen (we got their namesake) and good portion sizes. The cocktails were nice and the staff were very friendly. It was fairly quiet at 6:30pm but it got much busier by the time we left.
