Tonkotsu East in Hackney

Booked a table for 12 people really easily. There was a lovely outdoor area with shade we were able to sit in which was fantastic. Table set up really good for a large group and staff helped push two together for our group. Food was really tasty and service was fantastic. Would visit again if in the area.

A fun local Ramen restaurant with homemade noodles and gyoza at very reasonable prices. There is something on the menu for all tastes but the star remains their signature pork ramen.

All in all we had a good time, and food is nice. We (couple+4yr old child) had a very nice time here. The place itself is well design and gives a cozy feeling. We had the Shitaki gyoza, which was nothing to write home about... Not the best dish not the worst either. The ramens were very good - Tokyo ramen and the Geki Kara ramen. Both very were very good. For the kid ee had a children's dish, which she enjoyed partially (I still haven't met the kid who likes Adamame)... Bottom line - very nice place for a rainy day.

Had a great meal with friends for my birthday here. Our waiter Ryckie really went out of his way to make it special for us. Food was delicious and great ambience. Really appreciated the top notch service which is rare to find these days! Thanks for a great evening :)

My family and I went for dinner last night. As ever the food was great and hearty. What I want to mention is the customer service. Last night there was a small error with one of the meals. Totally nobodies fault however when we brought it to the restaurants attention, the quick response, and the measures to rectify this were exceptional. Good customer service and how you deal with an issue defines a restaurant. I can only give Tonkotsu 5 stars for how well they dealt with this. This restaurant has always been a firm favourite with my family and it really has now cemented how we feel about it. Well done and we will be back soon

I always put quality of food above quality of service and I am never disappointed when I visit Tonkotsu when on business in London. The ramen, with homemade noodles is just so fresh and tasty. But I have to mention the service too. I hope the owners know what they have with the dyed red haired girl because she is incredible; warm, friendly, efficient and lovely. Best Ramen in London - served by the best staff. Keep it up gang and look after your excellent staff too :)

This used to be one of my favourite restaurants, the noodles were lovely and it was always busy but I was so disappointed on Sunday. Apart from the fact that I get annoyed by businesses who use Covid as an excuse the cut corners (no menus, make you order via an App, no condiments, etc) the food was bland and uninspiring. The beer was still really good but overall I could see why the place was pretty much empty. I hope they will up their game and get back to being how they used to be. NB: chilli oil needs to be provided again!!

I got Tonkatsu Ramen from this place on 1st August 2021. The broth smelled a little bit weird but I thought it was me being overly sensitive. 30 minutes later, I had to throw up. I’ve had diarrhea, nausea and stomach pain daily (even 13 days later) and suffered from dehydration. Unfortunately, I have to wait for my test results to come back until I can get antibiotics and have to continue suffering until next week...

The ramens were very tasty, I especially enjoyed the homemade noodles, and super filling, we weren’t even able to finish everything.

Booked this for my friend's birthday, staff were very friendly and accommodating, food was lovely and was enjoyed by all!

Very nice ramen and when a member of our party spilt her bowl, the waitress was extremely kind and replaced it at no extra costs. Thank you waitress with awesome bright pink hair!

For an ramen lover, their pork ramen was the worse i've ever eaten in London. Apart from their handmade noddles the rest was awful, the taste of the broth was unusual almost to salt water and smoked and extra salted pork, the egg looked like it was been in their fridge for quite a while, the pork had a bad smell .. later on i had to throw up what i've eaten. I'm sorry i haven't made a picture with it.I felt that something wasn't right and didn't taste right. As a reminder:if you feel that the food taste funny, DON'T EAT IT. Even now with this ordering through app and paying only by card, they still should refund you and please make sure you let people know in order other not to experience things like that..especially during this period.

Great food and amazingly quick and efficient service ! My absolute favourite was the gyoza - so tasty !

I visited this place in August 2020. I was underwhelmed by the Vegan ramen I ordered - it lacked flavour, it was extremely salty and just really bland. It’s a shame, as the reviews paint such a different picture. Sadly I won’t be returning although the Covid measures were really good and I felt safe eating there.

Found out about this absolute gem a few years back when they had a restaurant by Mare St, which has since closed (sadly), but this spot suffices perfectly. Really cute little restaurant with an indoors and outdoors section. Best ramen in London no doubt, the closest you'll get to the traditional thing in its home country. The soup is amazing, they make their own noodles (as you should do), and their menu has more than enough to satisfy anyone who comes through their doors. Get yourself over there asap and have your mind changed. Little extra note, shout out to Simeon for providing some great service the last time we went (as our first dinner out post-lockdown, naturally). Everyone, especially him, was very friendly and accommodating, and explained the new post-lockdown ordering system in a really easy way to understand. Thank you very much :)

Vinimos aquí para probar el ramen de la casa de Tonkotsu por primera vez; hueso cremoso de cerdo y caldo de grasa / lardo de cerdo con fideos caseros, panceta de cerdo, huevo sazonado y varias verduras. Nunca he sido un gran admirador del ramen, y realmente no encontré el sonido del ramen Tonkotsu atractivo en absoluto, pero estaba equivocado. Claramente, nunca había * realmente * tenido ramen hasta ayer cuando fui a Tonkotsu y debo decir que ese ramen estaba absolutamente fuera de este mundo sublime. El caldo estaba muy bien equilibrado, los fideos cocinados a la perfección, la carne de cerdo y el huevo sazonado eran increíblemente deliciosos, y cada elemento del plato era perfecto. Sinceramente, diría que el ramen Tonkotsu fue una de las cosas más sabrosas que he tenido el placer de comer. ¡No puedo esperar para volver!

Visité una cena rápida después del trabajo y la pasé muy bien. Nos sentamos en las mesas del bar cerca de la cocina en un rincón tranquilo, pero el personal fue muy amable y se aseguró de que estuviéramos bien atendidos, suficientes comprobaciones, recargas de agua, etc. La comida era deliciosa, recomendaría el ramen de curry yasai ( ¡agregue un huevo encima!). Espero volver pronto.

This was my favourite restaurant in London. Best ramen by far. The pork in the Tokyo ramen melted in your mouth. It has been replaced by overly chewy, much less tasty pork edged with a gummy bear layer of fat. And to distract from the fact you get less pork now, they’ve thrown in some pork scratchings. Yes... WTF. Fortunately the “eat the bits” chilli oil seems as fierce and fiery as it always was. Not sure I’ll be back again though, until I forget how disappointed I’ll be.

So the order arrived 45mins late (this was a delivery) and the food was cold. I then had the worst food poisoning after eating it. I’ve been told I won’t be getting a credit.

Having been coming here for a while. Always good food and good service. The outside area is lovely in summer. Prices are really reasonable. especially lunchtime deals.

In questo ristorante è stata la prima volta in cui ho provato ramen. Abbiamo scelto due main dishes uno caldo e uno freddo uno di carne e uno di pesce. Il cibo e’ ottimo, ben cucinato con ingredienti di qualità. La cosa positiva di questi piatti e’ il sentirsi sazio ma mai pesante. Torneremo!

Ordeno ramens Tonkotsu East con bastante frecuencia y nunca tuve pbs. Usualmente saben muy bien, pero hoy tuve una experiencia terrible. ¡Cuando estaba a punto de comer los fideos, olí un terrible olor a amoníaco! Primero pensé que estaba enojado. . . pero después de mirar en la web me di cuenta de que era un problema común para los restaurantes de ramen. Aparentemente debido a la falta de higiene, el uso del agua para cocinar los fideos no debe cambiarse lo suficiente. Pagué 30 por 2 ramens y fueron directamente a mi papelera. . . es una pena. Tenga cuidado, el amoníaco es peligroso.

Excellent restaurant under a railway arch with a screened external area. The food is superb and they have a good range of beers.

Tonkotsu es definitivamente un lugar que querrías visitar cuando estés en Londres. Si tiene una sensación de satisfacción con la comida asiática para satisfacer, entonces este sería el primer lugar que debe revisar.

Normalmente me aburro de muerte con mi tazón de ramen de 1/2 de largo, "¡pero al menos no pedí pizza!" Así que estaba encantado de estar absorto con mi ramen de mariscos hasta el final. La carne de cerdo gyoza excelente también. Vino un poco demasiado caro, pero eso es Londres

The menu is small but delicious. The prawn and pork goyoza are next level and the Tokyo ramen is great. The wine is really reasonably priced and the staff are really friendly and helpful. If you are a ramen fan this place is a must - they do vegan options too.

Saturday began with a plan - Meeting an old friend in an interesting part of the east end, after a bit of back and forth on a venue we decided ramen were needed!

Fui a Tonkotsu East la semana pasada por primera vez para celebrar mi cumpleaños. El gerente Tom y su personal han sido simplemente geniales y contribuyeron a hacer de mi cena una experiencia memorable. Tuve tantos problemas para encontrar un restaurante con capacidad para 16 personas sin pedir una tarifa de reserva muy molesta o forzarte a un menú fijo caro. Tom ha sido de gran ayuda desde el principio y también está feliz de traer el pastel al final con la sonrisa más brillante. También fue la primera vez que tuve ramen, así que no sé cómo se compararía con otros lugares, ¡pero me encantó! ¡Tanto que al día siguiente volví para tener otro! ¡Y la gamba katsu donde sublime también! Tuvimos en promedio un tazón de ramen, un entrante y una bebida cada uno y el gasto promedio fue de unos 25 cada uno, lo que es más que razonable para Londres, ¡también teniendo en cuenta que todos nos fuimos muy llenos! Me encantan las luces suaves y el interior minimalista, lo que lo hace muy agradable sin lugar para visitar cuando quieres pasar tiempo de calidad con tus amigos y seres queridos.

Ordered duck ramen salad, with crab and sweet potato korokke and chilli chicken. Ramen - delicious - especially the duck which was incredible. And the crab korokke were like the ultimate comfort food croquettes! Need to go back to try the gyoza. Open in Cornwall please!

Dejó caer por una hora de almuerzo - compró el 10 acuerdo - ramen principal y plato de acompañamiento. Buena relación calidad-precio y ambiente relajado, ya que estaba cenando solo. Me senté afuera. No soy una gran amante de la comida asiática, y menos aún si son cadenas de restaurantes o muy “wéstern”; pero tonkotsu sorprende. Probamos dos ramen y los giozas (sin más, tengo que decir) y estaban riquísimos. Los platos son súper grandes.

Had a really lovely time here with some friends slurping on ramen and swigging warm sake! I can excuse the fairly long wait as we arrived at a busy time on a Sunday. Tonkotsu doesn't bite off more than it can chew - it focuses on a simple selection of well executed ramen dishes. The reasonably priced ramen encouraged me to order a portion of gyoza too - a favourite of mine.

I visited Tonkotsu East with my friend twice in the middle of August.

Having lived in Japan for many years and eaten in some very fine restaurants, this restaurant is a poor imitation of good Japanese cuisine. The Noodles: Definitely not hand made, as they were not chewy and lacked any texture and were obviously put through a machine cutter rather than done purely by hand. The Dashi sauce, if you can call it that, lacked the added flavour of pork bones to the stock and I have never encountered anywhere in Japan where the Soy sauce was drizzled over the food afterwards. The chicken lacked flavour and was of a poor quality and obviously lacked a variety of chicken as in Japan. The quantity of soup and noodles was poor considering the price. In Japan you can get a LARGE bowl of excellent Ramen for approx. £5:50 per head. The best Ramen is made by a small family business in Fukuoka, Japan and rated the best in Japan.

I know everyone comes here for the Ramen soup,but I had the softshell crab Hiyashi Ramen salad and it's better than the Ramen salad I've had in Japan,and I'd know because I lived in Japan for 8 months.

Uno de mis restaurantes favoritos y de lejos el mejor ramen que he comido en Londres. Los fideos ramen están hechas en casa y la sopa siempre es rico y lleno de fuselaje ancho. Creo que he probado casi todos los ramen en el menú, pero siempre a la tonkotsu ramen, ya que es demasiado bueno. Los huevos en el ramen siempre sabor increíble y fresco. La gyoza es excepcional, siempre perfectamente cocinada. Decepcionado, ya no les acompañan con salsa se sumerge, sin embargo puedes hacer tu propia con los condimentos sobre la mesa. El personal es siempre encantador y atento a cualquier necesidad que tenga.

The noodle they serve is home made and really had that nice texture you would expect from ramen I’d eat back home in Japan. Soup was thick and had tons of umami. Thanks for bringing home to London.

Very cool place in a cool neighborhood of London. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great and the food is delicious. Service is spot on, really nothing to complain about. If you like the Japanese kitchen, go there.

Possibly the best Ramen in the UK! Fresh, awesome variety and quality service! Can't go wrong here, never fails... We visit over and over again, love it! Thanks Tonkotsu for a fab time, everytime!

The food was great, ramen and starters, staff were fantastic, and super friendly. However they brought us the bill after a little over an hour, then a couple of minutes after paying it, basically got asked to leave. My wife hadn't finished her drink, and we'd spent £25 a head on starters, mains, and drinks. Would recommend the place, but it would be good to know you don't get a full 2 hour sitting beforehand.

I popped into Tonkotsu East because I was early to meet a friend in the mid-afternoon and wanted a warm place to wait. I asked if I could sit and have a glass of wine, and the server told me their license requires a sale of food along with alcohol. Not a problem! I selected the prawn gyoza, and settled into a small table that was next to an outlet so I could charge my phone.

Had chilli chicken ramen, pork gyoza and chicken wings. Were all delicious and amazing service. Thank you for the Diet Coke Soren, you’re the best x

Myself and my wife went on a Friday after work before a gig down the road and only had to wait a short time for a table. It was very busy, but the staff were pleasant and the place had a inviting buzz to it. They pack you in fairly close but it didn't feel cramped, rather just cosy.The gyoza and then ramen we had was delicious and the staff were helpful with suggestions for my vegetarian wife.

Had the Chilli Chicken Ramen. While it was exactly what I wanted - nice big portio, i did think it wasn't spicy enough. Otherwise nice atmosphere, cool that you can watch fresh ramen being made aswell.

The staff are lovely and the room is cool, so this is can be a perfectly pleasant option for a dinner with friends if you're in the area.

They are very proud about their ramen and they are totally right. At tonkotsu they prepare both the thick broth and also the noodles are homemade.

A friend took us here for dinner as it was somewhere local she hadn't tried. I had the pork ramen and it was excellent, although the broth was very rich which I found unusual yet enjoyable!

Los extras son caros, pero la verdadera razón por la que venga: Bonito Ramen, es entregado. Ambiente más entretenido y mejor que los demás. We headed in late but received the full attention and the food was good. The menu is quite small but the ramen section is a safe bet. Very tasty home made broth and fresh ingredients. The starter section convinced me more, great and savoury platters to pick from. The crispy fried chicken was insanely good. The venue is laid back and quiet to stay, they have a small patio to sit outside.

Stopped here after a bike ride along the canal, was sat outside immediately and got out order quickly.Their iced coffees were on par with what you'd expect in London. Their starters, which we had as we were only peckish, were on point. Really fresh and clearly hand prepared then and there, they were hit, fresh an delicious. Defo go for the Shrimp Gyoza and the Sweet Potato Korroke.

There's a real glut of Japanese restaurants in London at the moment, so a top notch ramen really isn't hard to find anymore. A las, it was not found here.There's a real nice buzz about this place. The kind of place you could happily go on your own and feel completely comfortable. The starters were good, pork & prawn Gyoza (which were forgotten about) and Chicken Karage (although the addition of something like a yuzu mayo would have been nice). The ramen however was every so slightly disappointing (we both had the Tonkotsu). The broth was flavoursome, but lacked subtlety and complexity. The pork was reasonably well cooked, if not a little on the tough side. The marinated egg with the soft yolk was spot on though, a welcome addition which is included at no extra cost - unlike Bone Daddies & Kanada Ya. All in all the experience was pleasant but forgettable. Would I go again, probably not. However don't let this deter you from trying for yourself, it was very busy so maybe standards slipped on this occasion.

Service wasn't up to scratch at all, service on the starters was wrong then service on the mains was wrong! Twice in the space of 20 minutes!Food, whatever really. Seafood salad was fair. Total bill seemed expensive for what was pretty dull food. Really poor veggie options!Won't be returning or recommending I'm afraid. Really need better veggie options and tastier food, oh and better service.

Ate here last night. Nicely situated, and busy but not too busy. They didn't have a table for 20/25 minutes so were kindly seated in the bar area and well looked after. Ordered a nice wine and some starters to keep us going. Sat down - nice comfortable table in that it wasn't too close to others. Great ramen (the noodles are delicious) and service. Would have liked to have seen a few more dishes on the menu, but the food was very good. Really nice atmosphere.

Perfect in every way . Seated outside to enjoy beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon. Food served was to my taste delicious. Seafood Ramon was freshly made as were the noodles. Would I return. Absolutely.

We visited on a Friday lunchtime in February. The restaurant was busy but we received a warm welcome and were shown to a table straight away. ( We had not reserved a table as it was a spur of the moment decision).As on our previous visit, service was very good. We selected a selection of dishes including several different gyoza, edamame beans, chicken and prawns. (The mushroom gyoza were particularly good). Everything was freshly cooked and delicious.

On the 19th of of January myself and my friend visited the Tonkotsu Bankside branch and the following day both of us fell extremely ill. The staff were absolutely great so it is no fault of theirs but I had severe food poisoning and as the only thing I ate that day was from Tonkotsu it was not a question of someting else causing it. When I received my ramen it did have an odd smell to it but I thought this was just the smell of the actual dish since it had pork in it, but I believe something was definitely contaminated in the dish. As students, me and my friend spent over £30 together which is a lot of money and therefore it is very upsetting to have been put into that situation.I sent an email to an email address I found on the website of Tonkotsu, but to date I have not yet received a response.

This is a regular haunt for me and my husband and we've been coming since it first opened. The tonkotsu is amazing and our favourite dish. After dining here last night however I developed food poisoning and I am bitterly disappointed. Never again.

This place is a favourite of mine, there aren't many good and affordable Japanese restaurants in London but this restaurant is spot on!

Been here many times and always had excellent food. The menu is fairly limited but that's a good thing because what they do they do well. And all noodles freshly home-made. Also interesting selection of sakes and cocktails.

Pleasant for lunch and charming for dinner, Tonkotsu East seems like the perfect...secret hub where to enjoy complex flavours in simple dishes. It's all fresh, it's all great food and it's all a great selection of drinks. You can decide to limit expenditure by ordering a main soup only, but you can also indulge into a full great meal. The staff is super welcoming and truly helpful. We had our daughter's peanuts allergy needs sorted seamlessly by Ilaria and, as a result our anniversary was sorted in a truly delightful way. Only one advice: Go experience Tonkotsu several times...so you can really taste all the different things they offer.

Me and my boyfriend come to this restaurant regularly, and we are always greeted by friendly, attentive, and personable staff. They always give the best service and seem like that they all enjoy working there, which is always nice. The food is incredible, always consistent and reliably fast. The best Ramen in London! Couldn't recommend it enough.

This place is so good. No matter which one you go to they're all the same. Karage chicken is amazing too. Tokyo ramen is the one and they even do a plain ramen on request for you kids.

I have been working in and attending japanese places for a long long time and I seriously have to say that Tonkotsu is one of the places that will never disappoint. From the ramen menu I have only had the Tonkotsu Ramen in all my visits, I have to say that I like it sooooo much that I never want to try any other, but I have heard from the people that have accompanied me that all of them are great. The fried chicken 'starter' is nice and tender, and if you are really hangover, this is one of the few places in London that serves the classic japanese hangover cure okonomiyaki and its bloody delicious. I hardly recommend this place, any time any day you will have a great meal.

I loved the spicy chicken ramen and I am not a ramen lover. Have been 5 times in just over a month. Nice atmosphere and drinks, service can be a bit slow but not enough to put me off from returning!

Head to Mare Street for the seafood ramen - one of my favourite meals anywhere. Lovely staff and a nice atmosphere. The side dishes and cocktails are all delicious too.

I came here with friends and we all really enjoyed this wonderful restaurant. I've seldom experienced such a great customer service. we had an inspiring conversation with Tamas. We really appreciated the welcoming and lovely service as well as the delicious!!! food and can't wait to come back!

The food and service here is fantastic. I had the chilli ramen and my boyfriend had the pork ramen, both flavourful with fresh ingredients. We struggled to pick sides as they all looked so delicious, in the end going for broccoli and crab croquettes- we certainly weren't disappointed and soon finished them before our mains even arrived! I would also recommend trying a cocktail (or two).

Family members recommended this place and we were not disappointed. The food is amazing. If you have never had Ramen (or even if you have) this is definitely somewhere that should be on top of your list. Great value.

I've been a few times for saturday lunch, so can't comment on what it's like when busy in evenings, but staff have always been very friendly and helpful and food has been pretty authentic and tasty. Can vouch for the ramen, chicken karaage, gyoza - all delicious.

I really enjoyed my visit. Food comes out quickly and hot. Really interesting to see ramen being freshly made through glass. Fun place to come for dinner and beers

I thought the ramen was lovely. They only had one vegetarian option, but it was very good. The service was good and staff friendly, perfect place for lunch in my opinion.

The food is of very good quality, however portions are quite small. Prices are a little high, but bearing in mind this is Hackney central....it might just be the location you're paying for as well.

We have been here on two occasions now and been pleased both times. Enjoyable food but with quite a sparse menu choice. Drinks list also a bonus. On our second visit we found crab shell in one of our side orders and they staff took it off our bill immediately.

I have just moved to East London and was recommended Tonkotsu by a friend. I wasn't really sure what to expect and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. There was a really nice vibe as soon as I walked in, and seeing the wall of Japanese whisky behind the bar I knew this was a place I was going to like! I tried the own brew draft Tonkotsu beer and it was really good, and very interesting to learn that it's brewed with green tea which I had not heard of before, thumbs up.When my friend turned up we had the veggie gyoza and edamame beans for a starter. The edamame was lovely and fresh and the gyoza tasty, although there appeared to be a lack of dipping sauce. We didn't ask and just made our own from the soy, chilli, and vinegar on the table which actually worked very well. Maybe this was what we were meant to do but it wasn't made clear?We then had the Tonkotsu and Tokyo Ramen which were both spot on and we also tried their red beer and a sweet potato guest beer which were both great.We then sat at the bar to tuck into a whisky and we were recommended by a lovely and very knowledgeable bar-girl to try a relatively new whisky from Taiwan called Kavalan. We tried the standard and port cask. Both were absolutely top draw some of the tastiest whisky I have had in a long time. I could have stayed all night and tried the rest but instead decided to save them for another day as I will be returning. She also told us about the whisky tasting sessions you do with food for £40 which I am sure to be checking out.

I've been here twice recently, now that it's not as busy as it used to be so isn't as difficult to get a table anymore! Both times I've ordered the Chili chicken ramen, it is amazing! The starters are also really good. I'd recommend this for a casual meal, as the restaurant itself is fairly small and basic but it's got good, friendly staff.

Visit here often. The ramen and selection of starters are delicious. Menu isn't too overpacked which makes for perfecting what is on there. Relaxed atmosphere.

Arriving at 7:30pm, our names were put on the wait list. After waiting at the bar for over 40 minutes, a group who arrived after us were seated immediately (you can't make a reservation here). After complaining to the hostess we were offered to squeeze onto a table of four, but we were a party of five. Once we were seated at our table, the waiter was borderline rude and not apologetic for the lengthy delay. The food was ok without being amazing. Further, the management of the dining area was poor, as one table were allowed to sit there and drink as people continued to wait for a table, despite the fact they'd finished their meal over an hour before. As a parting blow, a 12.5% service charge was slipped into the bill, only to be discovered after we'd paid. We will never return to this overrated pretentious restaurant.

Ho avuto il grande piacere di cenare in questo grazioso locale giapponese e devo dire che è stata davvero una grande scoperta.Locale molto carino ed accogliente, stile giapponese ma giovanile e moderno, con luci soffuse e atmosfera trendy.Quello che perà fa la differenza è sicuramente la pasta fatta in casa, con cui poi si possono assaporare ottimi Ramen ed Udon, fantastici rvioli e tutto il resto della cucina giappo tranne sushi shaimi e tonkatsu (cotolette di pollo panato).Servizio veloce e personale gentile, ottime anche le birre Giappo (Sapporo) in primis.Unica nota negativa: locale piccolo, quindi preparatevi ad aspettare per un tavolo e cmq all'interno musica e confusione.. se cercate un locale intimo, rilassante e romantico non fa per voi ma per una cena informale e tra amici è OTTIMO!

I love this place! I've been a few times, on our first trip here we hadn't booked but were seated very quickly once all of our party had arrived. I had the Shimeji, Shiitake & Miso Ramen and shared the Tenderstem Broccoli, both were delicious. I also shared the Homemade Creme Brulee which was amazing! Would highly recommend it, staff are friendly, service is good and you can even watch them making their own noodles. Can't wait to visit again.

Really good ramen and amazing set of starters. The atmosphere would be great as a romantic setting but equally as a fun place to eat with friends. The only problem with the place is the canteen style seating arrangements... You can be lucky and get a seat on the edge though. Excellent meal!

The food here is really great, though I know some of my friend's aren't massive fans I think it's well worthwhile. The interior is a little sparse and cold, especially in winter, since it's in a railway arch. Will definitely be coming by for a reasonable priced bit of Japanese though, a great local addition.
