Was a little worried about the previous posts but decided to give it a go being closer than others on a dismal rainy night, the wife and I had the fish and the boys “dogs “ had the sausage with chips and curry sauce, couldn’t fault it. You can please some of the people some of the time! We were delighted with the food, service and prices

Chips were not cooked through long enough.

Oh dear, I hate to write a negative review but our fish and chips were so so disappointing. The fish was so dry and the chips luke warm and greasy. The fish must have been cooked ages before serving. £21 for two ‘small’ portions of mediocre fish and chips which were for a special occasion.

I called here on Tuesday afternoon/early evening for some chips but decided when I was ordering that I would have a fish as well. Both were excellent and very enjoyable. I will certainly visit again.

Worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. Frozen fish that was overcooked so much and dry as a bone. The batter was a mixture of soggy and rock hard as it had been in the hot display for I don’t know how long. The chips had also been cooked in oil past it’s best. £15 too!!!! Mushy peas were ok which were pretty much all I ate. Wont be back.

Large chips £4.50 Really more like a small portion The sausage just tasted of salt Glad we didn’t ask for salt & vinegar

Fantastic food, have eaten here several times, we keep coming back. Although the chip portions tonight were rather small for the first time!!!

First time we been tonight and I must say fabulous food and lovely cheerful owners , thankyou for fantastic meal , we will be back 🤗

How much don't bother if your hungry

Staff ok but omg the worst chips weve ever had whether it was an off day I’m not sure but they were rock hard and very under cooked ! I actually took them back off my child as I didn’t want them eating them …Also very over priced ! - £4.50 for a portion of undercooked chips!!! And a large portion apparently but defo not …….Not a great success !!!!

Love this little chip shop - best chips ever. Lovely owners. Good service. I live in another village so it's ideal and only 10 min drive.

Friendly staff, great service, really tasty food. The fish and chips are great quality and whenever I’ve had a chicken kebab it’s full of flavour and the portion is generous. Highly recommend

The best chip shop in Hereford for sure

I've had several kebabs from this shop and think they've been great. My partner enjoys the mix meat kebabs and the fish and chips. The reason for only 4* and not 5* is because for me there is just something wrong with the cooking of the chips. They are either over cooked, under cooked or just not very good. Maybe the type of potato is what is letting it down. I also believe the price is great considering the other types of establishments in Hereford charge far more for what you get.

Great Service and amazing food!

NOT VEGAN OR VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY, so false advertising on their menu board. Im So glad I asked being a vegetarian. However, A really nice friendly service and who I was with enjoyed their non vegan meal. The vegan and vegetarian menu which included onion rings, mushrooms and chips are not fried separately but along with meat products.

Couldn't fault this establishment at all. The fish and chips are very well prepared and tasty too, the staff are friendly and welcoming. It is a rare treat to find a high-quality chippy locally, and well worth supporting them.
