Top drawer breakfast - Everything hot and very tasty all served by a pleasant team of friendly staff. Excellent quality products. Great collection of cakes on offer as well but was too full!

We popped in for lunch and a drink on our way back to Worcester. The food wasn't too bad but pricey for the quality. Whole place seemed to be a shambles....lots of uncleared tables and no forks available to start off with. I know it's a separate business but the toilets need a refurbishment. Won't bother again

Recently visited as part of the Santa visit and really disappointed with the whole experience. - greeted by a member of staff on the phone (although apparently that’s fine) - only 3 high chairs for the entire cafe (apparently we should have pre-booked for a high chair even though they knew we had a 2 year old.. who’d have thought) - no gap comfortable gap between tables - cold food - poor service all round, no cutlery, toddlers drink came out when we’d all finished Despite complaining about this at the event, and via email, Andrew the owner rudely dismissed all of my points and told me a refund wasn’t going to be offered! Although complaining at the venue and via email the same day a refund wasn’t agreed. Would avoid this place.

Lovely helpful friendly staff, the garden center staff could do with the same attitude, we found a woman ignorant about garden plants and generally unhelpful and superior spoke to my mother as if she was a girl in school! Cafe staff a breath of fresh air in comparison!

Great choice of food. Superb coffees. Highly recommend the bacon butty on the wholemeal bread - several rashers of wonderful bacon in ultra fresh bread with or without butter as required. Friendly service.

Travelling past we needed a break so thought we would see what Radway Bridge Garden Centre could offer and we found The Potting She'd Tea Room. A lovely choice from amazing cakes to quiches and meals. The staff were lovely so was the coffee and cake. Defiantly worth a visit. Good value for money.

We've eaten here before at lunchtime, and it was OK but not great. However last week we turned up just after 4.00, and the cafe was closed, in darkness, chairs on tables, bins being cleared. 1) Closing at 4.00 is ridiculously early, when the garden centre is open till 5.30. 2) There is nothing on the main garden centre website, or the signage on site, indicating that the cafe is only open for half of the afternoon. 3) If you go to the specific website section, it lists 4.30 as closing time. On the day we were there that was simply untrue. 4) A garden centre employee told us the cafe is a "separate business". But that isn't made clear anywhere in the signage onsite, or on the website. The same garden centre employee told us there is nowhere else within 3 - 4 miles serving even a coffee after 4 pm. So the cafe is shooting itself in the foot by closing so early. In the absence of any other explanation, I can only assume it's because they can't be bothered serving customers for the second half of the afternoon. Which is OK, because we simply won't bother to go there again.

Popped in on our way to Ledbury. On arrival it looked a little bit run down so ee just expected basic food. We ordered a jacket potato with beans and cheese and a tuna sandwich with two teas. The tea came first and was a lovely blend of loose leaf. The food came next, the tuna sandwich was on hand cut granery bread with inch thick slices and side salad. The jacket potato was a good size and the cheese with the beans was good and sharp and also had a small side salad, it was piping hot to the end. The staff were all very friendly. We will definitely return.

This is a quirky tea room set inside a rather modern garden centre. It has a nice outside space for sunny days. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Scrummy cakes and nice tea served in old fashioned tea cups. Lovely salads - although get there early. Last time went for a late lunch and they seemed to have gone off piste with my plate replacing coleslaw with potatoes etc as they'd obviously run out of some things. But normally it is delightful, so hope it was an off day. I can't recommend the coffee unfortunately - I don't think they understand expresso coffee. Or they need a new coffee machine - not sure which. Definitely worth a visit.

Visit here fairly regularly as we live nearby, we don't always eat but Di always enjoy the tea selection. There is always a lovely selection of imaginative salads, quiches and specials on offer it's often difficult to choose. Add this to the very good garden centre, antiques centre and aquatics centre at the same location it's always an enjoyable couple of hours out.

This cafe is perfect for a family lunch and an unexpected find! It had a perfect selection of dishes to suit across three generations. All of the dishes are homemade, which I don't think is advertised much, although you can tell by the quality of of the food. The service was lovely, lots of smiling young ladies.

Decided to try the potting shed for coffee and scones. Sat in their outside bit which was pleasant enough. I went to the counter to place our order of two scones, cappuccino and a tea. The cappuccino arrived first, five minutes later the tea arrived followed by the scones a good three minutes later. Very strange way of serving.

We have visited here several times as we live locally. Sometimes we come just for the cafe and sometimes we pop in on the hop while visiting the adjoining garden centre which we love. We have only ever ordered the vegetarian breakfast which has always been delicious. Service and food have been good or we would not have returned so often. I can only imagine that some of the other reviewers have caught them on a very bad day because I can't imagine any of the staff that we've dealt with being rude or off hand. This is a genuine and honest review and believe me when I say that we can be very fussy and don't hesitate to complain when it warrants it. We will definitely be back.

We arrived yesterday, Bank Holiday Monday, just prior to 3:00pm. My partner went to the Ladies to wash her hands, I sat myself at the table adjacent to the Food display, and began to look through Menu situated on the table. We decided on, one Gardeners lunch (ploughman's) and one Spanish Tortilla and salad, which was all on display in the chiller cabinet at the servery. We were abruptly told that only Cakes and drinks were available and that nothing else was available. It all looked very appetising.

Customers having their cars serviced at the garage, a few hundred yards along the road, are often directed here for lunch, and there is no objection to one sitting here as long as one likes with a coffee or lunch as the case may be. The mains are perhaps marginally less exciting than they used to be, but still good, the staff friendly and helpful, and there is always gluten free as well as other cake on offer. The garden centre itself is a proper one, with some books and gifts at Christmas, but not a furniture store cluttered up with all sorts of bric-a-brac as some of what used to be the better centres sadly have become.

Very pleasantly surprised by the quality and range of food at this garden centre café which was definitely not the usual run of the mill type of café you find at such establishments. Lovely salads and a specials board with lots of variety. Such a shame we had no room for the homemade cakes that were on display. Now I know they do such lovely breakfasts we'll try and get there before 11.30 next time!

this is one of my favourite places to eat and we often make a special trip to eat here. Being fathers day I decided to treat my husband to breakfast there and as usual the food and service were wonderful. We both had the scrambled eggs on toast (mine gluten free). a simple dish but Paul in the kitchen manages to make them an utter pleasure - even the gluten free toast in edible which can't be said about it very often. The portion sizes are very generous and they even manage to make my coffee how I like it (very rare). I cannot recommend eating here enough.

Popped in for lunch. I think this cafe must be under relatively new management/ownership. It had a really good menu and all the meals I watched served looked fresh and high quality. I had fish cakes and they were excellent - big lumps of fish, herbs, mash etc combined suggesting they were homemade. Salad garnish was also good. Will definitely return. Located in Radway Bridge garden centre, so nice setting. The cafe is comfortable and friendly, and suited to any/everyone. Prices were reasonable and the quality was high.

we were regulars when the Potting Shed was in Monmouth and couldn't wait to visit the new location when it opened. We loved the Monmouth premises and didn't think they could improve on anything but we were so surprised when we saw the new place. WOW is all I can say.The surrondings are beautiful I could have sat there all day. The food was amazing! We only planned to call in for coffee but were tempted to stop for lunch. The homemade leek and potato soup was delicious, the chicken salad in a honey lemon and thyme dressing was a taste sensation and the chocolate torte a sensual treat. So good we booked to go back next week for my husbands birthday. We will be regular visitors.

I rarely leave reviews for places but in this case I've had to make an exception. I stopped at The Potting Shed tea room yesterday on my way to Hereford to see what it was like as it's recently changed hands. I love a tea room but you have to go quite a long way to impress me, but impress me they did. The menu was varied and extensive, reasonably priced, offered interesting specials and also served a variety of breakfast options throughout the day. Too early for cakes (sadly) I ordered the breakfast option of French toast with streaky bacon and maple syrup (it had a name involving 'stack', I forget what it was..) and it was delicious...and disappointingly filling as I couldn't fit a cake in all day! Worthy of note too was the tea - loose leaf and locally sourced apparently, it was really good - again, tea is tea but it was a particularly good brew and credit where it's due. The staff were friendly and attentive and the tea room itself nicely decorated. All in all, a good hour of my life not wasted in any way. Thanks very much people and keep up the good work!

Booked an evening meal whilst staying in log cabin near by. Large portions of home cooked food, quick service and friendly and helpful staff.
